Possibly no one is with me....but that’s fine 👍😂

I lost weight and got to my target early last year. Then lockdown hit, and I can’t stop eating. I have a stone to lose and I AM DOING IT!

I need to be accountable to someone and my poor DH must be fed up of hearing about it by now bless him. So even if I’m just talking to myself, I’m going to come back morning and night and record my food diary. I’d love it if anyone wants to join for some mutual support and encouragement though!

I’m calorie counting, on 1400 a day. I’m going to have pancakes on Tuesday but then I’m giving up chocolate and bread (including bagels etc but not wraps) for lent.
I’ve eaten my own body weight pretty much in junk today and this just cannot go on!

So there. It’s down in black and white and I’m doing it.

Hi everyone, I've gone to bed early tonight so I'm not tempted to keep eating 😉

Went over today but will all balance out by end of week I hope

L: veg stir fry with prawns 450 cals

D: lamb chop, mange tout, avocado and Tahini dressing 550 cals

S: 40gr Dry roasted peanuts 235 + Skyr yoghurt 150 cals

Total - 1380

Thanks @letsnotscaretheneighbours - I've had a measure so will be interested to see how that compares to counting scales! I am under active but medicated, definitely feel like it slows the weight loss process!

Morning to all and hope you've had a successful few days, today is my 'weigh day' and after a 4 Week maintain I'm so pleased to finally see a 2lb loss bringing me down to 11st 4lb. Only 10lb to go until target! Woo hoo!

Must step away from the Chocolate today, falling back into a little treat after a Meal so have been using my calories there instead of actual food for a few daysConfused

Feeling frustrated as it can be such hard work limiting snacks and my weight does not feel any different but it must be!

Woo hoo @Ewanispurple that must feel soo good after a plateau! Well done for keeping going after a 4 week maintain!

Yeah it’s those snack habits that are gonna get ya, isn’t it. I just can’t snack at all. If I feel the urge a cup of tea often works though.

@BasinHaircut Thanks so much! I was deflated maintaining for so long but feel back on track now!

Not too bad for today although did have a cheeky Drive Through Costa after a long walk earlier! It was freezing!

Breakfast - Porridge and Coffee 269
Lunch - Homemade Pastry Twists x2 435
Dinner - PON Keema Pie and Broccoli 416
Snacks - Latte, 1/2 Shortbread and a Pear 404

Total = 1524 (-276 under allowance) Smile

Same. Cup of tea in evening now...but then I need to get up and pee in night. I get jn from work at 10pm and just been going straight to bed.
I found this, switched to decaf for the evening tea and no more problems!

I've had a few days where I've ate pizza, McDonald's and cake .
Better day today .

One piece toast with peanut butter and marmite

Two pieces of reduced fat cheese on toast

Nutella b bar

Fish bake and broccoli

So far 1240 cals . May have a ww desert or a bit of chocolate

I’ve not had the best day but I’m making myself log everything. In the past I would eat something that would take me over, then go ‘ah fuck it I’ll start again tomorrow’ and delete the whole day from my app and eat everything in the house. Which didn’t work well for me..!

Today has been:

Breakfast - cereal (234)
Lunch - WW ready meal (285) hot cross bun (287)
Dinner - pasta (437) more hot cross buns (431!)
Snacks - tea (40) fibre one bar (90)

Total - 1800 bang on. So 400 over.

I’m working tomorrow and Saturday though so they should be better days.

Trying decaff this eve. Ready to snack so might just go to bed! Usually ok but LO got up super early so was ready for lunch by 10am but managed to starve it off with cucumber and cream cheese.

A horrendous day today. All I've done is snack. Kept to 1500 calories but have eaten absolute rubbish.

DP has helped me plan for tomorrow so there's little opportunity to snack. I'm pretty sure it's all down to being alone working from home as I don't snack outside of working hours.

Breakfast - banana cake and coffee with sugar 290kcals
Lunch - baguette, pesto, hummus, sun dried tomatoes 660kcals
Dinner - Hello Fresh hoisin sticky chicken, broccoli and rice 800

Total 1,750.

Breakfast - natural yogurt with blueberries and raspberries and a cinnamon and raisin bagel with a coffee

Lunch - n/a

Dinner - paella

Snacks - horrendous as ever - crisps x2, special K bars x2, Milky Way magic stars

30 minute yoga flow class

I will break the habit of snacking this weekend as DP will be at home and has promised to comment if I head for the snacks rather than actual food.

I've also put a pound on - back to 10st 1 and very annoyed with myself!

Eeeek not a good day for Me! Still 38 Cal under allowance but that's nowhere near as much as I would like to bank.. last day of Homeschooling so took DC for a Sausage roll treat at Greggs and my willpower went out the window!

Breakfast - 1 Coffee, 1 Banana and 2 Custard Creams 231
Lunch - Greggs sausage roll, Fudge doughnut and a Latte 956 Shock
Dinner - PON Campfire Stew and an Apple 493

(No snacks and no drinks apart from Water, guess that's something 🙈)

Snacks are the devil!

Today’s food diary:
Breakfast - protein shake with almond milk and added banana, coffee with sugar 270kcal
Lunch - leftover sticky hoisin chicken and rice with mangetout 640kcal
Dinner - Hello Fresh courgette and aubergine linguine 695kcals

Total 1,605 kcals.

It’s my birthday next weekend so I’m planning to stay on track til then, but then allow myself a takeaway curry on Friday, and I’m also going to make a carrot cake and have a couple of slices of cake over the weekend too whilst staying otherwise on track.

Then back on it on Monday.

At the moment I am so determined to be somewhere around 11st 5-7 by the summer. I sat and looked back at loads of old pictures yesterday, and although I was maybe 12 years younger (and pre-child) I can’t believe how much difference that stone and a bit I’ve gained makes to the way I look.

Evening all, sorry have been AWOL for a couple of days. AF popped in to say hello and my weight always increases when I'm on. It's only been a little increase though so that's not the end of the world - sitting at 94.2kg currently, was down at 93.8kg.

Thank you to whoever suggested the nutracheck app, it's great and low calorie jelly may be an excellent solution to my sweet tooth dilemma. The skinny bakes I bought were as disappointing as I'd feared. Of course they're only 40 calories when they're only 16g of bloody cake 😮‍💨

@Ewanispurple I’m all chin and the tops of my arms are so flabby!

I don’t really ever gain weight round the mid-section, which is a shame as that’s the area that’s easiest to cover up! It’s arms, face, tops of legs.

I’m 5ft 9 and I’ve no boobs either so the shape it has created makes me so unhappy. I’m not fat, and I know I’m not fat, but I look abnormally large and shapeless if that makes sense?

Well my middle section has been ever increasing in recent years basinhaircut. When I was younger I was a definite pear with a flat stomach, narrow shoulders and small boobs. Middle age has definitely changed my shape and I'm pretty much straight up and down now, but not in a slim way! I'm quite short too.

Porridge with water , apple slices and a teaspoon peanut butter

Portion of salmon, cottage cheese , cold broccoli and tomatoes

Paneer tikka shaslick with fat free yogurt dip

Snack - tin ww soup, 3 baby bel light

I don't know how many calories in my evening meal ; I'm hoping it wasn't too bad.

Today I've kept on track again so am hoping to see a change on the scales on Monday (providing I can be good tomorrow as it's take away night)

L: Protein toast, cottage cheese, avocado and salsa 458 cals

D: pork stroganoff with cauliflower mash 550 cals

Milk and vit drink 100 cals

I'm determined to lose 8kg before 12th May. Being over 50 and only 5'3inch it's so much harder now😡 I have maintained at 56kg -58kg since my 20's (excluding pregnancy) it was only the last 12 months that my weight went up progressively to 64kg and I am carrying it all around my middle/back/boobs and bum.

@BasinHaircut It makes absolute sense, I can picture what you mean! I'm just under 5' 8" very broad with a Tom-Boyish figure. Weight spreads in no particular area for Me - it goes all over really!
So the bigger I get, the butcher I look Sad

Today's been a slightly better one - not the healthiest but not quite as much snacking!

Breakfast - natural yogurt with berries and a coffee

Lunch - 2x cinnamon and raisin thin bagels and water

Dinner - stone baked pizza from Sainsbury's (only 400 calories!) and mixed salad

Snacks - special k bar and a packet of crisps

I've definitely had 3 of my 5 a day which is a big step up for me! And I've snacked much less.

Good, although higher than ideal calorie day today. It’s my time of the month and I have not been feeling full of the joys of spring shall we say. But managed to not snack at all so I’m taking that as a win.

Came in at about 2,000 kcals I reckon.

Breakfast - weetabix, ss milk, coffee with sugar 300kcals
Lunch - leftover aubergine and courgette pasta 700kcals
Dinner - home made egg fried rice, curry sauce, spring rolls and prawn crackers 1000kcals

Lunch and dinner might have been slightly fewer calories but I’ve tried to make sure I’m not under-counting anywhere. Could have been closer to 1,800 kcals but can’t be too sure.

Bloody exhausted, going to bed!

Having roast lamb tomorrow and looking forward to that.

Morning everyone!! Been a mad few days in the hospital, I’m back now!

I’ve had a few ‘over’ days, mostly due to lovely patients flooding us with cakes and donuts and Easter eggs..! So hard to resist when you go into the staff room at 3pm, starving having just stopped for lunch 😂😂

Decided to up my calories to 1500. Hopefully the bit extra will help me to stay within rather than having the ‘oh I’ve ruined it now’ delete and binge days!

I’ve managed somehow to maintain but I really REALLY want this last 4lbs OFF now! I’m only little so it makes such a difference to how I look and feel.

@TeddyBeans that cake made me lol. You’d rather have 16g of real (cheap!) cake 😂

I’ll be back tonight with a good menu 🤞🤞 have a good day everyone!!
