Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

I'm still here!! I've been very very slack with tracking on mfp Blush but I'm still trying to be good and exercise and weigh in every Monday. My weight has stayed the same over the last few weeks so I'm pleased, but I need to find the motivation from somewhere to carry on properly, I would like to try and lose another stone so I've got some way to go!

Short and dumpy?! How rude?! ..I got called ‘the before photo’ which has stuck in my head for a while now ☹️..sometimes it motivates sometimes it makes me sad!

Somehow I’ve still put half a pound on even though I averaged a 600 cal deficit every day last week. I’m coming up to AF time so I’m hoping it’s just hormonal.

Struggling :(
I do so well throughout the day, leaving 6-750 calories for tea and snacks then fall off the wagon.
Doesn't help my lovely, but slim housemates think i'm just unconfident/depressed (which I suppose I am) and don't need to lose (which I do).
11st 9 at last count.

I’m just losing and gaining the same few pound! It’s over the stone mark so mfp makes a big deal each time!! Confused

Im currently on no sleep and my lady time so just want chocolate! I’m doing well at my steps though, so hopefully it won’t be too bad when I brave the scales!

Fluffedit I have the same pound that just goes up and down like a yo yo, it's so frustrating! I'm hoping that if I can shift that pound then I might be able to keep going..........

I am off work today so I meant to weigh myself but I forgot and now I've eaten breakfast so I can't. I might do it tomorrow, or just wait until next Monday, I'll see how I feel in the morning.

So I did weigh myself this morning and I have put on 1 and a half pounds since I last weighed myself at the end of October which is nowhere near as much as I thought I would have put on so I'm really pleased with that Grin

Now to try and keep going!

Can I join? I realise this is quite an old thread now...

Started calorie counting on Monday after reading the 'slim friends' thread on MN. Realised my portion sizes are completely out of control. I've been inspired to try to fit into at least a size 12 (14 at the moment) but the dream is a 10. Aiming to lose 2st, which would take me to smack bang in the middle of the healthy BMI range.

So, I'm doing this very low tech! Just using a pad and pen to note down what I eat and the calorie values and aiming for 30 minutes walking per day. I play Pokémon Go, so I'm hoping this will encourage me off the sofa!

Good luck to anyone else still on the journey!

Hello @CaeciliusIstInAtrium it has gone quiet on here lately but I'm still hanging on!

I've got about 2.5 stone to go to be middle of bmi healthy range. I'm slowly beginning to see my face slim a teeny bit around my cheeks so it's spurring me on to keep on track.

I can believe how quick December has gone it's crazy, im hoping to be in the next stone bracket by Xmas but I keep gaining and losing the same lb!

I went out for a meal with friends and we have had christmassy biscuits on the go so that probably explains it!

For some reason my mfp isn't changing my steps into calories and it's really frustrating! I've done an update but it's still not working. I think I might be getting a Fitbit for Christmas which is really exciting and should put an end to my steps to calories woes!

One more week to xmas! Who is still in? I'm ready for one last push to get in the next stone bracket for Xmas day.

I'm going to do 7 days of 1000 cals and 10k steps. That's my plan, cals and steps can't be carried over and no eating exercise cals.

Still in, sort of! I've been dangling off the wagon a bit this week, still trying to control portions, but not counting as religiously. Lost 1.1kg in my first week when I'd weighted on Friday though Smile
