Anyone just starting? I don't think I can do it alone!

Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

I really want to take before pics, that would be plenty good enough to stop me eating but I'm too scared someone will see!

I've taken before and after photos but I'm not sharing Wink not one needs to see that lol.

MurielsBottom · 01/05/2017 15:28

I think you can lose weight through walking alone. It is good exercise and when I lost two stone a couple of years ago it was through diet and walking. I basically adjusted all my portion sizes, used mfp and did at least one hours walking a day.

Please can I join!

I have 2.5st to lose overall but I would like to lose a stone by my wedding in August. I have been calorie counting for almost a month and lost 4lb but had a bad day and now I can't stop!

Would love to have people on there as well, to keep me motivated and on track! My username is Meg__ and I'm happy for anyone to add me!

Mooey89 · 01/05/2017 15:49

FluffedIt · 01/05/2017 17:07

Woohoo!

We went out for lunch but I didn't have breakfast so Kcals from a lunch were 1800....

Thinking I might have an omelette for dinner which will take me just over my planned 1950 per day but for a cheat day with dessert not too bad...
Will start properly tomorrow!

PastysPrincess · 01/05/2017 18:32

Just jogged on the spot to get my last few steps in

Hi. Can I play too? I'm targeting a 3st weight loss after 3 babies in 4 years. Have very much enjoyed gaining the weight but starting to feel uncomfortable in myself. Stated MFP this past week but need the motivation to stick too it!

PastysPrincess · 02/05/2017 17:52

Looks like I'm going for a run this evening. I'm 175 over my calories and I've been working from home so I've done the grand total of 70 steps today.

PastysPrincess · 02/05/2017 18:02

Err, miscalculated, I'm actually on 579 Confused

blueskyinmarch · 02/05/2017 18:08

Yesterday i burned 2476 cals (15451 steps) and ate 1380 cals, so a good deficit.

Today so far i have burned 2061 cals (done 16481 steps so far) and have factored in 1377 calories so i should manage a good deficit today too even if i have a snack later.

Having a dog really helps with the steps!

FluffedIt · 02/05/2017 20:11

I've had a fab day, though mainly coz I had a crap morning and lost my appetite! I managed just under 16k steps and a chicken salad for dinner...

I don't think that will keep up though! Just hoping for a kickstart!

Hi can I join. Lost a stone last year through ill health now back on and getting married in October! I have two stone to lose really.

I used mfp and lost 21/2 before, only put this stone back on.
Happy to add people for motivation.
Not a bad day so far and heading to the gym soon.

Hi to everyone x

gttia · 03/05/2017 16:00

My mfp name is bubbles402

kally195 · 03/05/2017 16:18

Can I join please? I have three stone to lose and started MFP on Wednesday, after having got on the scales and weighed in at 13st6lbs Blush.

I'm aiming for 1300 per day, plus some exercise at least four times a week (rowing or swimming). I've also got a fitbit, so I am going to try to keep my steps above 7000 per day.

My MFP username is the same as on here is anyone wants to add me.

A1Sharon · 03/05/2017 17:45

I would love to join you all too, if I may?
Really want to lose a stone before my holiday on 1st July (optimistic!), and need to start exercising again. The last year I have just stopped all exercise and feel so unhealthy, so going to incorporate regular exercise.
Lets go!
