Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

I'm doing really well but it's my sons birthday tomorrow so there is going to be cake...lots of cake! I don't want to spoil the fun but I dont want to derail myself either.

gttia how does 16:8 work??

Report
FluffedIt · 10/05/2017 04:24

Isn't that where you can eat during an 8 hour window and fast for the other 16?

I just can't do this diet thing ..ConfusedAngryBlushSadEnvyBiscuit

I can't stop that crave feeling where I just want to binge constantly! What's annoying is if I'm good it comes off fast, but I can't!

Pastys work out how much a nice slice of cake will be, then work it in to your diary. Can you exercise to get a few more calories to play with? A 3mph 60 min walk burns 300 cal!

FluffedIt Ive been there its hard to break the cycle, could you try eating whatever you want but just when you're really hungry to start?

I think I was struggling this morning because I was so knackered!

There is no longer any choc in the fridge so I reckon I can handle it now!

Well I've only got 600 cals left now and I've not even had any cake yet. We are on a long walk in the woods so I'm hoping to claw back some calories. Then when he is in bed I will go for a jog to make up the deficit.

Hello, yes it's where you fast for 16 hours a day, but I failed today!! Do hungry.

I've downloaded an app used by my gym and it shows how fat I am, plus it allows goals which I've set. Ok determined now.
Also put some thin photos on my phone to remind me how I want to look on my wedding day.
Planning a swim today and trying to be good.....

Hope everyone ok. Add me on mfp if you can bubbles402.

Thanks for starting the thread I'm getting motivated by it!

Just a thought, would a whatsapp group help anyone?
Think it might help me?

Agree with Sharon go a walk (although I can burn 300 in 30 mins with a fast 4mph pace) but I'm very heavy.

Yip pre-period I eat everything in sight.

How old is DD fluff?

My DD has DGS and he's 6 month now, no periods (still BF) but she did get an implant in after he was born

I'm fecking shattered tonight. I want to eat lots and lots of bad stuff. I'm trying not to.
I was woke by loud noise at midnight. On looking out of window some crazy man was beating hell out of a car with rocks, wood, his feet anything he could get his hands on. He was doing it for ages so I did ring police but they showed up whilst I was explaining to the woman on phone the goings on, so someone else must have called it in. So odd as we live in a quiet estate. But that was me awake til 1.30am and up st 6.30. I might just go to bed once DD2 is asleep to avoid food.

She's 7 months, I think I was just fancying them stopping for a lot longer!

Going to bed early may be boring but it def works!Grin

Now I know what's going on it's like a switch has gone and I'm not craving at all. Now enough of me me me how is everyone?

That's what I find FluffedIt, the longer you go without crap the less you want it.
Doing good here still, just planning my food for the day...fish or curry for dinner? Inspire me someone!

Struggling with other things today, it reduces my appetite so that's a good thing.

I often skip breakfast if I'm not hungry, save the cal for later you sound like you might need Gin!
Just in from walk and about to make lunch, homemade sweet potato soup ( not made by me!) and a salad of wild rice, cherry tomatoes, pepper, red onion and cucumber-yum!

I'm doing loads and I've stopped losing...

Please tell me to stop going in the scales

Stop going on the scales!Grin
Don't weigh yourself for two weeks, mix things up a bit, drink more water, and see what happens then?
Scales do your head in.
Unless you have lost weight in which case they are amazing.

Just realised that I didn't mention that there was 50g of goats cheese in the salad too. So filling and yum.
I am only weighing myself on a Friday morning from now on.
I've another 2lbs off.
