I have just seen what you have said about me over there, and you totally misrepresent what I say!

I don't think that people who don't express 8 times in 24 hours are 'lazy'.

I have never talked about the 'virgin gut' in my life.

I don't think women who give formula have 'risked their baby's life'.

I actually think the idea of nipple confusion is wildly exagerrated and do not think women who use bottles 'give their babies permanent nipple confusion'.

Where am I ever 'stern' with mothers?

I am not a bit bothered about how much Clare Byam Cook is supposed to 'hate' me though Though maybe she doesn't 'hate' me - if 'veal' reports what I am supposed to think so unreliably, then maybe she's got this wrong, too.

Just read some of macneils posts where she had a completely different opinion of tiktok:

I think that it was very rude and hurtful to post these comments on another website. If she had said that the advice on MN includes... then I am sure that there would have been a furious debate here about it.
But to single out one person (and Tiktok is a person, not just a name on an website) and be deliberately hurtful just to "make it funnier", that is just horrid. You should be ashamed of yourself, macneil

macneil's not a troll, she's a nice woman, tbh. i think she just lost the heid and should hold her hands up to having done a shit thing.

well, not really an apology, the explanation. lazyemma thougth it was an apology, she mentioned it earlier, so i thought i'd misinterpreted because i was cross. but no, i didn't think much of it either.

Aitch, that is what is getting me...on other threads she has described her horrid experiences, and horrid they were, but in no way her fault, and in other threads she certainly comes across as cvvery reasonable and even lovely...so, what is this about? Identity theft?

I'm sorry if I seemed to be making fun of people, I really wasn't. I do have a tendency to be over-dramatic, and to wade in, guns-a-blazing, when really I should keep out of it. But I was genuinely surprised by the level of vitriol aimed at macneil, and my posts after that were really just responding to people who responded to me.

Look what has happened here is the Mcneil/Veal got caught out horrendously name dropping and showing off at another forum and when called on it tried to brazen it out rather than say, ok, sorry shouldn't have said that.
Anyone from here will instantly see who comes out of this in the better light. and really, it doesn't matter about the folks on a differetn forum. Yes if Mcneil felt like appeasing tiktok, she could apologise on there but she would have to want to and she obviously doesn't.
So just log your opinions of the various posters in this mini debacle for future reference and lets leave it.

maybe. it doesn't really sound like her, tbh. anyway, tiktok's out and the person who did it can always CAT her, so i'm off to watch the telly. i'll come back in a couple of hours and say to new posters who've just found the thread and are leaving messages 'you're getting a bit hysterical' just so i can hear the sound of my own voice.

I would imagine that Macneil's feeling like shit now, guys. It's not nice being sprung slagging someone off. Especially when you've NO reason to and, actually, you were only doing it to make yourself look big, but really it's something you feel quite small about.

Whilst I'm not impressed with the way she's treated Tiktok At All, I can see sort of why she posted as she did. I think it was for pretty sad reasons, really.
