scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:39

i found it!

Mollyfloss · 29/02/2008 13:41

Hello! By the way, how do you know in advance that we are running out of space on a thread?

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:42

by the number of messages - if you get 1005 it goes away i think.

KnitterInTheNW · 29/02/2008 13:46

The romantic thing I did today was to text DH to say if he wants any sex at all before the baby arrives, he'd better get off his arse and make an appt to see the nurse at the GP. You may or may not remember he was circumcised 5 weeks ago-ish and all is healed, except one stubborn stitch which is determined to stay. He's coming nowhere near me with both ends of a very spikey stitch sticking out! Just not quite sure HOW we'll manage it now though!

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:48

lol @ willy stitch!!

When did you all have sex after baby last time? Hoping we get back on track fairly quick. (Was 10 days last time in the bath so it didnt hurt!!)

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:48

i havent done anything romantic today. am hoping to have sex later though

ToastAddict · 29/02/2008 13:50

Found you

Have managed to skim read the last few hundred posts!

Scorpio - sorry you're not feeling so good, all the horrible fish posts have been deleted, but it sounds like it all went a bit nasty on here - but sounds like the lovely ladies on here kicked ass and got it sorted Hope you're feeling a bit better now

Sounds like a few people have had "is this it?" moments - hope things have calmed down for everyone now

I'm off to Center Parcs for the weekend in a couple of hours - so excited!!! Have got loads of books out the library, plan on swimming a bit, reading a bit and eating a lot! We are doing one of those Murder Mystery dinner parties tomorrow - I have to dress as a geisha. Kimono just goes over bump!!

Have great weekends all, speak next week

Mollyfloss · 29/02/2008 13:50

LOL Knitter!

Scorpio: you seem to shag endlessly by any standards let alone a pregnant ladies!

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:52

TA: have alovely break

Molly: Do i?? i havent all week you know! (only cos i had thrush i think). I think i talk about it quite alot

TLSM · 29/02/2008 13:56

it was a good 4 months for me but it wasnt that a fancied it it was I felt I had to by then! my sex drive completely dropped off think it was the PND I also had horrid internal grazes with Max that took months to heal! oh the joys of child birth!

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:58

the first time i didnt until at least 6 months, but that was because of the relationship i just didnt fancy him. Got with DH 4 months after that.

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:58

oh and i didnt have any probs down there 2nd time so prob why ok so quick i think.

Sal22 · 29/02/2008 14:01

Great thread title, love it!

Scorpio, you've got on lucky husband! I'm embarrassed to admit I never got to the "h..rny all the time" pregnancy stage, and now just too much trouble . Should probably make more of an effort to get back into it...

Knitter - brilliant LOL

Mollyfloss · 29/02/2008 14:01

Scorpio: No need to be embarrassed, it's a good thing! I've been a bit rubbish lately in that area...

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 14:02

it is alot of work though isnt it!! at our stages i mean.

ToastAddict · 29/02/2008 14:06

Sal - glad it's not just me! It's enough effort to roll over in bed, let alone do anything else. Plus I'm exhausted when I go to bed, usually asleep within 2 minutes

My poor dh.... as you say, guess I should make the effort.....

PortAndLemon · 29/02/2008 14:06

Several months last time -- post-c-section, plus I had whooping cough and any sudden movement tended to set off an attack (plus I was knackered and DH was in Edinburgh much of the time...)

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 14:07

lol

i can't lie on my back anymore or my right side for very long, start to feel dizzy.

Can't believe that in a few weeks i am having a baby.

You know how long ago i got married? Well its only that time again until my EDD!!!!! (6 weeks)

Sheds75 · 29/02/2008 14:13

another new thread, love the title!

must start drinking the RL tea and buy some Arnica.

I haven't gone off Sex, I'm just soo tired and go to bed much earlier than dp, I guess we sould make more effort if it's going to be months after Lo is born

Peachy · 29/02/2008 14:29

[[http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/1372/487718?stamp=080229142737 lovely story]

Peachy · 29/02/2008 14:30

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 29/02/2008 14:41

Amazing story - read that in the Metro this morning! Poor woman - she must have got quite a fright!

EllieG · 29/02/2008 14:47

Gosh. Very bouncy baby.
We talk A LOT. There's already 20-odd messages on here and has only been running 5 mins!

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 14:50

we should all do more work/house stuff!!

KnitterInTheNW · 29/02/2008 15:37

I would if I had a job/hadn't done everything in the house already! I've got to pick up a prescription for insulin, but it's so horrible outside I'm putting it off til monday.
