Took Scorpio's advise and up loaded all my bits I need to sell feel so sad that I bought so much Newborn and now it will all be too small for Tom! only goes up to 10lbs tops and they think he will be at least that so am having to but it all again in sizes 0-3 months thats the bugger with buying things early i suppose!

I'm the reverse -- only had 0-3 month stuff (knew in advance that DS was going to be a whopper so didn't buy anything newborn last time) and have suddenly realised that this one may be smaller (fundal height was only measuring 2 weeks ahead at last appointment, although my growth scan isn't until next Wednesday) so I'm quickly bidding on a couple of newborn things on eBay just in case (I'll still be surprised if she's small, exactly, but 9lb or so would be nice).

Oh I've been lurking on here a few times, but seem to have vanished off the due dates! I was on there once, honest! Christmas Pixie (must change that now Christmas is long gone!) due date 18th April, already have dd aged nearly 3.
Just been to see my Bro's and SIL's little girl today - one week old, and absolutely TINY!!! I cannot believe I'll be having another in 7 weeks, anyone else still in denial!!!!

Oh do you mind if I join you again for the next few weeks? I was trying to post regularly at the beginning but having difficulty keeping up with posts now that work is a bit mad. Only 5 or so weeks to go and feel completely disorganised. I finally ordered a crib mattress yesterday and have started gathering some cloth nappies which are the main things this baby will need when he's born. I also finally got the newborn clothes from the loft and luckily, despite having two DDs already and expecting a DS, most newborn clothes seem to be fairly unisex, and he won't mind pink vests and pyjamas (I hope!). I'm getting lots of BH and some are getting quite uncomfortable but I'm sure I had loads more at this stage with the girls and I still went into labour a few days after my EDD. Sorry for the ramble...

We had sex before DH went to work this morning! amazing. It's hard because of my pelvis (has to be COMPLETELY straight which I'm not sure he understands) but was still fun. Definitely think I'm more horny than this time last pregnancy but it's more in thought than deed.

Another Friday night alone in front of shit TV - I should really do something more productive. I can't believe I'm having all this time to myself and actually getting bored when I KNOW in two months I won't have time to clean my teeth. I just don't have any mobility, energy or concentration, though. DH is out, leaving drinks at work, he's been working SO hard lately I don't begrudge him but I am getting pretty lonely - drove myself to hairdressers and got a really drastic haircut today (bit more savage than anticipated, actually) and no-one I know has seen it yet!!

Things are ok-ish here. Spoke to DH instead (deleted email) last night and he was very mad. Then he calmed down and proceeded to tell me he didn't know how he felt for me and didn't know whether to leave or not. We married 6 weeks ago. I don't think he copes with me being down - which makes me feel less loved and so on a vicious circle. He said he wasnt going to tell me and was going to wait to see what happened what Millie is born - err not good - babies are not plasters.

We have both given each other some stuff we need to be different; and am working on this. We will be OK i'm sure. He hassince said he feels silly for saying it - so god knows. i feel very hurt and unsupported. Most of the things he wants makes me feel walked over. Oh well, we will be ok, just a blip.

Scorpio, ugh, I don't know what to say, the last thing you wanted to hear but at least it's out in the open now and can be dealt with, it's probably like I said in the email about everything being a lot for him right now, pity they don't have a clue what we go through!

Lazytown cost us about 75 too, but seriously the kids LOVED it. They had to get up and dance and do exercises with Sporticus and everything it was really fab. Like I said to DP we easily spend 75 in a month or two at crappy playcentres etc, things we wont be able to do so much when the baby is born so they knew it was a kind of last blow it before they would have to put things on the back burner for a bit, so yeah, IMO it was worth the money.

Just got back from the emergency dentist, arghh. I had toothache last night, got worse in the night and I was awake with ctx and toothache then this morning it had me in tears so I went along and they drilled into my tooth and took out my nerve

I've never even ahd so much as a filling before!! They think, as do I, it's probably a combination of being sick so much, only being able to drink pop and not able to put a toothbrush anywhere near my mouth for the first few months and then the basic calcium theif that babies are anyway. I may have to have the tooth REMOVED once baby is born but they couldnt xray me today.

Oh scorpio - well done you for being so brave to bring it up. Is really hard to have all tht stuff said. See how it goes - but sounds like, like suze said, that he may have said some things in anger that he did not mean perhaps? He may have felt a bit accused or defensive and perhaps reacted by saying stuff in a slightly less that constructive way - he does love you, before you got married he was telling you how you're his best friend and how lucky and happy he was to be marrying you - I remember hearing and thinking how lovely it was. He is probably just having the jitters at thought of new baby, how will affect you all, and feeling a bit powerless at not being able to help you enough when you're feeling so low. You'll work it out. Is good that you've talked and got some out.

Scorpio: I'm not sure what to say either. It's good that it is all out in the open and I think a lot of what is said in the heat of the moment isn't really meant. I think he might have the jitters too about the baby coming and you feeling down and him not being able to make everything better etc.

VS: Hope your tooth feels better. That's all you need right now!

My SIL's friend who was due on April 20th (the one I already mentioned) gave birth last night by c-section. She had eclampsia so they had to take the baby out. The baby was 1.9kg, just over 4pounds but both baby and Mum are doing fine. Then a friend of mine who was due on March 31st gave birth this morning! So now I am just waiting for an announcement to come through on this thread!

Hi everyone, I just found the ante-natal clubs section, I have been on the Pregnancy chat section on here until now.
This is my first Pregnancy, I am due 1st April, with what should be a little boy. I have also just turned 30.
I have just started the Raspberry Leaf tablets on my MW's advice.
I feel so FULL OF BABY all the time right now, and I am restless for this to be over.
I took the tour of the delivery suites at Chesterfield hospital today and I thought they were really great. So that put my mind at ease at little about the whole.. Birth thing..
I dont really have any friends who have been through Pregnancy before so Mumsnet is my only way to talk to experienced people, and I am so glad I have found it!
I am still a bit terrified to give birth, but I can't wait to hold my first little baby.

Hi PFJ and welcome! I know what you mean about being full of baby. My back is really starting to ache know but I have another 6 weeks to go! I'm off to see my friend's baby who was born yesterday. I can't wait!
