i had to leave a msg - they normally ring back around lunch time. I hadnt been toilet toilet , just a wee, and it was loads. like a big lump!

God the things i talk about on here.....

EllieG · 03/03/2008 11:24

Then am not sure about that one, although I have had all sorts of odd mucus and whatnot coming out of me bits over the last few months so may be all normal and fine.
Am sure someone else will be along with some better advice in a bit. Have you got any pains or anything?

bunnyrabbit · 03/03/2008 11:32

Sorry Scorpio, at work so don't have time to flip back and check your due date.

Agree with the others and I also have some gelatinous discharge this time, but a big lump could be some of your mucus plug.

BR

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 11:49

im due in about 5 weeks. i have no pains, just thought i should mention it to them as it was rather big and i dont know what a show looks like; i have never seen mine!!

VictorianSqualor · 03/03/2008 11:53

Pains? this is yout third scorpio, it's going to come out whilst you sleep

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 11:54

lol i know - my plan is that i will wake up one morning and she will be in the bottom of the bed

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:09

just had more, slightly pink?lots.

VictorianSqualor · 03/03/2008 12:10

It has to be your plug!
Have you had sex?

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:10

fri & sat night, thats it.

bunnyrabbit · 03/03/2008 12:12

Sounds like it's a show to me... ooh how exciting.. you could be the first to pop!!!

BR

Sheds75 · 03/03/2008 12:12

Afternoon all, I just wanted to share my joy, and a bit of virtual cake with you all! today is my last day at work....

knitter and denny we did say the 10th, I'm flexible on time and location!! denny what is the name of the pub you suggested?

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:13

I'm only 34+3 today so hoping not!!

MW's still not there. Shall i ask for an internal to check?

VictorianSqualor · 03/03/2008 12:15

LOL@fri&sat night thats it thats more than most of MN got it
Yes, you need an internal, you may be dilating.

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:24

well i normally expect it on sunday too; its the day for it!!

Will let you all know what MW says.

ThePFJ · 03/03/2008 12:42

I asked my MW all about 'shows' recently and apparently its not normally an indicator that labour is going to start soon. It is an indicator your uterus is limbering up for the big one though. It could still be weeks before you start labour apparently, but its still very very exciting to have one if you ask me!
She did say to call her and let her know if I had one though. So let us know what your MW says Scorpio!
-makes you all a fresh pot of tea-
I can't believe its less than 4 weeks before my due date now!

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:43

yeah apparently it can do it weeks before!! Just ringing to let her know, if i need to go and have a checkup or something.

Scampmum · 03/03/2008 12:51

Sounds like a show, maybe Millie will be there tomorrow morning when you wake up!

I had sex Friday and Saturday too, but that constitutes Loud Boasting for me rather than meriting a 'that's it'!! DH was over the moon. Obviously he now thinks this is our new shagging rate.

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:52

lol @ new shagging rate!!

Don't want Millie to come yet because she still a bit too tiny. In 3 weeks, yes.

Scampmum · 03/03/2008 12:53

No curries, pineapples or walks for you, then. Ooh, and you'd better abstain from sex (or blowjobs at least ).

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:54

hee hee

will ask about that later....

scorpio1 · 03/03/2008 12:55

oh and i had another SENCO appt today for Reilly and she said that there is deffo something wrong - his test results fall in the 0-10th percentile

ThePFJ · 03/03/2008 12:55

hehehe awwww Scamps glad your DH is all happy.
Am trying to reach down there to do the massage wossname.. but I am a WHALE!
Possibly I should try it somewhere else.. e.g. where I am NOT going to fall off the bed.

ThePFJ · 03/03/2008 12:58

Aww Scorpio try not to worry. At least Reilly will get masses of the extra attention he needs if SENCO are involved. Most kids have to literally fight another 30 kids for any extra teacher like attention.
Big hugs and chocolate for you from me though. It'll be alright.
xxx

bunnyrabbit · 03/03/2008 13:04

I must admit, as LO has been very low for the past 3 weeks, I've told DH he is not coming (ooohh naughty pun) anywhere near me until I give up work on 20th March.

Do not fancy waters breaking on a train!!!

Hang in there Sorpio, keep your legs crossed!!!!

BR

Sal22 · 03/03/2008 13:04

hehehe, exciting love lives in this group (excluding myself, i've been rubbish but am trying to make an effort, much to DH's delight

Just wanted to add to what many have said - midwife also told us that "show" can be weeks in advance, but, as you did, to let her know if. Haha, Scorpio, you might find you have a quick labour with all these "technicalities" out of the way by the time labour actually starts! A friend of mine had "normal BH" - according to her - went for a bath while her DH went to B&Q, then baby popped out IN THE BATH!!! Just like that, was all over by the time he returned, luckily she had mobile with her! But ambulance came out and they had to go to hospital for checkups etc, and all fine! How's that for a home/waterbirth?!

Hmm, Knitter, honestly, that's what I read this morning (snow)... But then, it was the Metro, so might explain a lot.
