Hi Suey!

How are you feeling today? I had MW here tonight and she saw some protein in my pee, but BP OK and no puffy ankles so not worried really but thought of you.

FurryFox · 13/12/2007 09:02

Just copying my last post from other thread as posted after this one had been started

Congratulations Shells - Glad all is well and you are both home. Lovlely name too

Not sure I understand all this moon sign business . Maybe will look into it later.

Insy - My DH has two middle names. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, although the second middle name doesn't often get used but I think his bank cards etc have all his initials on. My DD has my middle name which is also my Mum's middle name. Expecting a girl this time and was going to use MILs middle name but she said it was silly and she doesn't like her name so don't think we're bother and maybe choose something else.

suey2 · 13/12/2007 09:06

congrats shells

lizzer, i too am a cancerian. I really hope that i dont have to wait until the 24th! (that would be 42 weeks for me) DH is aquarian.

slept really well back at home last night. except had a really sharp pain in my left nipple. then i woke myself up (and DH) with a really large fart at 5am- it was so unexpected and explosive that i thought it was my waters breaking for a sec! silly suey

Much more wincing from me with the baby grinding into my pelvis most of the time now, except first thing. I really hope i go into labour spontaneously- i will feel a bit robbed if i don't have the show or waters break or gradual onset of contractions. Having witnessed a couple of people on the ward being induced yesterday makes me understand what the experienced mums have been saying.

Och well, beautiful day in london town. long walk with my mummy i think.

hi buzzy! sorry x post. feeling great thanks. amazing what a good sleep will do. My only determination now is to not put myself in stressful situations- DH can buy his own christmas presents whilst i waft around in a zen like trance!

Hello! Aww Insy my dd hung on until the 23rd dec (15days late) so I KNEW she was meant to be a cappy. They're great though, and I thought that with any opposite sign they have qualities mirrored in cancerians (perhaps the bits we don't like in ourselves) Suey2, well we'll see whether our lo's dig their heels in and hang on for the exact 2 weeks and become our opposites...You've got an air sign partner too like me!

One more thing about astrology then I'll get back to reality If this one IS a saggi and born before the 24th then in our family unit we will have an earth, air, fire and water sign Ahem, anyhow like I said reality beckons!!

That is so funny about your early morning farting Suey2, Alas it was dp waking me up with his heavy breathing (no, not that sort) down my lughole at 7ish GRrrrrrrr....

I have sore nipples too, is it a sign???!!!!

suey2 · 13/12/2007 09:24

i REALLY hope so, lizzer! Sadly i just think late pregnancy aches and pains!

It is very funny- my best mate works for me and even she is getting really fed up with everyone asking her how i am!

OP posts:
Lizzer · 13/12/2007 09:28

I would say have as many names as you like, nothing pretentious about it,

Buzzybee, this is my favourite site for all things zodiac www.astrology.com/ Their free sample reports are sometimes quite revealing, don't get suckered into paying for anything though!

Lizzer · 13/12/2007 09:31

LOL you're even boring other people with your non-birthing state Suey! I know what you mean, I'm getting sooo bored saying to people, "no I'm not that bothered I have xmas presents to wrap, i'm actually reeeeeeeeally busy" And watching them looking at me like

BunnyBaby · 13/12/2007 10:12

Morning ladies - more overnight babies! How lovely and congratulations to Mums!

Went for a 2 mile walk and 1 hour swim yesterday. When we went to bed had stronger contractions every 15 minutes, but they petered out after an hour, so just went to sleep. Hopefully not too many more false starts and baby is having a long warm up.

Must be really warm at mo as DH was cold in bed last night, but I'm like a radiator - he thinks this is very funny!

Amani · 13/12/2007 10:21

Morning ladies,

Huge congratulation to Shells - was a bit at how quickly thins progressed.

Still getting lots of B-H contractions - this weekend going to give it a good go with the walking, curries etc in the hope that things get shifting!

Well done on the new thread suey2.

Bunny - its so freezing over here in the Midlands!

Awenamanger · 13/12/2007 10:28

hello Wow - just looked at list. Huge congratulations to all you mummys and little ones who have already arrived. Thought this one was coming 2 weeks ago, ended up have the 4 steriod injections for LO's lungs. Have continued to contract on and off. Keep stopping and have an irritable uterus (well actually generally irritable ). No idea when this one is going to make his entrance but really dont want it to be to near to xmas day.

There are some beautiful names for the new babies too. We have chose Samuel Owen for this little one. Cant wait to meet him.

Lizzer - I looked at the chinese astrology stuff and these LO's are going to be piglets . I already have a dragon (ds) and DP is a dog and I am a bunny. Astrologically we have Aquarius, Cancer & Scorpio so far.

Awenamanger · 13/12/2007 10:30

hi Amani.. I suggested a session with DP last night and he was a bit horrified PMSL .. I think after our last little mishap and the fact babys head is right down has freaked him out a bit. lol. Already tried curry, chilli, pineapple, still going on Rasp Leaf as will help 2nd stage apparantly. Lots of walking (shopping).. am getting a few pains again today but really not getting excited about it now.

Amani · 13/12/2007 10:39

Hi Awen

Same reaction from DH when I suggested 'it' - thought I was raving mad.

Awenamanger · 13/12/2007 10:58

LOL.. I dreamt i 'pounced' dp last night. .

PeckaRolloverAgain · 13/12/2007 11:28

I posted on the other thread by mistake

"Morning all, needless to say nothing has developed over night

Off to see midwife today, cross your fingers baby might have turned but it doesnt feel like it to me!

Im considering stopping my iron supplements because they are making me constipated - Im horrified at the thought of being constipated right up to birth and it all coming out in one big push!

Normal levels of pooing oneself in labour I can deal with but not that!!!
"

Edited to add that I have been to the midwife and Im SO PLEASED - baby has turned round a bit and back is longer in my back but to the right hand side and head has begun to engage (2/5)

Feeling way more positive!!!!

Bouncingturtle · 13/12/2007 11:43

Good news Pecka!
Wrote a shopping list for later, notice DH had addded "Curry" and "Pineapple". He is well up for sex (excuse the pun!) as well, I'm less so!
Mainly because I am soooooo tired! I am in at Bunnybaby doing all that exercise, I just want to slump on the sofa and snooze I'm afraid!
Went to Teeside Retail park (5 mins drive from my house) to get some nursing bras and xmas pressies, and I was absolutely shattered when I got back - was only gone a couple of hours!
And I'd spent most of yesterday morning in bed .
Today got up at 8am, coz have a friend coming over for lunch, so needed to tidy up kitchen. Been trying to put cover back on pushchair, after I washed it, gave up can't get the poppers to attach, so DH will have to do it when he gets home.

Got AN appointment at 3pm, then Asda, then off to water birth class at the hospital.
I went to "Bumps and Babes" on Tuesday, and one of the ladies there is also going to the same class, so will see her then. Funny watching her walk, she has the same kind of waddling slow gait as me!

bambino1andbigbump · 13/12/2007 11:50

Morning everyone! I see we have a couple more babies arive over the last few days! All so exciting now!

Fifisworld must of had LO now. All snugged up. Very . Can't wait to meet my LO.
My dd (3yrs) came into bedroom this morning and said " mummy i've been thinking and if baby doesn't pop out soon I think we should try and use the hoover" My Dh was crying with laughter. She was deadly serious! Told all the girls at her nursery when she got there and they all laughed too! If only it was that easy!!!

Awenamanger · 13/12/2007 11:52

bambino that is hilariously funny. lol

bambino1andbigbump · 13/12/2007 11:56

It is a funny image and has made me smile since she said but also quite scary that she thinks it is normal!
I'm bored today. Tryng to tell myself to relax and make most of it but just sooooo bored! Want to go food shopping but DH said not to go without him and he is at work all day. Might go clean some floors and see if that starts off anything.

Clary sage has no affect on me at all

Bimblin · 13/12/2007 12:06

I keep (and kept) posting on old threads instead of the right ones and so have dropped off this group but add me back in!

I had my boy Alexander on the 4th Dec by elective c section, weighing 8lb 2oz. It hurt like hell for a while, particularly as the hospital chuck you out after 2 days rather than the 3-5 you used to get when I had my first son, and I just went home and tried to do too much. Getting back to normal though and starting to think about Christmas.

Good luck to y'all still waiting, hope it goes really well.

Congratulations bimblin, great name too (my dp too)

Well dd been sent home from school with bug-she's flat out asleep, meant to be doing another performance of her school play tonight so that's not going to happen. Glad I saw it yesterday...

Right ladies, can you answer me, are sore tingling boobs a sign things are starting or not? They are really starting to bother me, were really bad all day y'day too, anyone else notice this? I haven't had any boob pain since first finding out i was pg...
