Poppy - so sorry you had such a difficult experience, hope your dd is recovering though if bfing is going well then it sounds like your lo is rallying as it's hard work for baby as well as mum!
Jen - same to you, glad to hear you are ok, sounds like you were wise to insist in the c-section when you did, DH and I were on the verge of asking for a c-section for me as I too did not cope well with the pain, but the baby was already on his way out!
Dotsie - Good choice of name (my dss is Patrick!!) It's great having everyone cooing over baby.
