I have both apps and never even think to look ! But I will do now ! I was thinking the baby Bjorn? Or 4moms ? But will try and see if I can read more about them. I have my scan tomorrow at 10:40 ! Excited but nervous 😬

Roxy8203 · 19/04/2020 21:54

@Piper1879 I'm a sucker for a bargain so I check when the emails come through! Good luck with the scan

ShiningStarz · 19/04/2020 23:27

Enjoy the scan @Piper1879 😊

Lilice · 19/04/2020 23:35

@Roxy8203 amazing!!! Thank you Flowers I just have the bounty app, I'll go download the emma one too now

Lilice · 19/04/2020 23:36

Enjoy your scan tomorrow @Piper1879

ChipsAreLife · 20/04/2020 08:16

I'm thinking of the baby Bjorn bouncer too but that's a great deal on the Nuna! I'll probably start buying things this weekend after my scan.

Good luck for the scan @Piper1879. It's lovely when all the scans start happening! I've got mine Thursday when I'll be 20+2. Time is flying!!!

I've been feeling kicks since about 17 weeks with this one but my first two were at least 21 weeks but my stomach muscles aren't what they used to be so maybe that's why I'm feeling them sooner 😂

How's everyone feeling?

@ChipsAreLife we had the baby Bjorn bouncer for my son, it was lovely and I really liked that it folded completely flat so I could tuck it out of the way (we don't exactly have a big house!) but this time I'm going to get something that swings or vibrates with batteries so that I don't have to sit wiggling it with my foot the whole time I'm eating haha.

We sold our baby Bjorn on afterwards and nearly made back what we bought it for as well which was a big bonus. Definitely get the toy bar!

Had completely forgotten about signing up for Emma's diary and things again so will do that now Grin

ShiningStarz · 20/04/2020 08:37

This little one was very active this morning! Still the bubbles / flutters rather than kicks though! What does the kick feel like in comparison to the flutters?

Chanel05 · 20/04/2020 08:37

Enjoy the scan @Piper1879 !

emma278 · 20/04/2020 09:00

Is anyone finding the movements are really sporadic? saturday baby was super active then yesterday nothing... well not that i could tell anyway... xx

sianyflewog · 20/04/2020 09:30

@Lazydaisydaydream That is my feeling on a bouncer totally! We had a vibrating one (which matched our playmat and jumperoo) but I wasn’t overly impressed, so going for something more than a battery pack under his bum lol.

@emma278 Completely random, no pattern, they say not to worry about that until 24 weeks I think.

@ShiningStarz I’d say kicks feel more pressure inside. Like you will know for absolute definite that it’s your baby stretching their arm or legs. And then when you can see their movement across your tummy is even better!

ChipsAreLife · 20/04/2020 10:52

@lazydaisydream yes this is my concern! We had a swing chair and it was fab. We have it away though so need to replace. A lot of people rave about the baby Bjorn but I wondered if it was a pain doing the rocking! The good bit is they bounce a bit in it when they're older so helps tire them?!

There are just TOO MANY CHOICES 😂

ShiningStarz · 20/04/2020 10:54

@sianyflewog I defo haven't felt those! Still bubbles / flutters but more frequent now. Hopefully professes to kicks in next few weeks! Can't wait to actually see little one moving across my belly!! How weird but amazing!!

@emma278 when I haven't felt anything, I lie on the sofa or bed, do some deep breathing and tap my tummy and carefully be in tune to see if I feel a movement. It's worked for me a few times. Hopefully means your little one is a good sleeper 🤣

ChipsAreLife · 20/04/2020 11:02

Sorry forgot to say kicks are short and stronger, you can feel the pressure! At the moment I'm only get one or two and then they stop. But they get more as they get older!

I think i may have had a flutter just a min ago with a hot drink. Its just so hard to tell at the stage what is or what isnt xx

Lazydaisydaydream · 20/04/2020 11:41

@ChipsAreLife yes the bouncer was great when he was a bit bigger and could make it move himself. My son was an awful sleeper as a newborn and always needed to be rocked while sleeping so something that can do that for me this time is a must Grin.

@ShiningStarz kicks feel more sudden, I would say you'll be able to tell the difference. And quite quickly you'll be able to see your stomach moving from them as well which is amazing.

Piper1879 · 20/04/2020 12:54

All done , scan was lovely all considered , my photos were free and my sonographer was lovely so friendly. I had a gender scan a few weeks ago but wanted to double check , seems my nub theory was right ... it's a little boy 💙🥰 hope everyone's well

Chanel05 · 20/04/2020 13:20

Glad it went well @Piper1879! How long did the scan take?

Piper1879 · 20/04/2020 13:23

@chanel05 it took about 25 minutes but she was super friendly and was pointing everything out and answering my questions. Baby was being a little nightmare wouldn't stay still for her measurements so she had me jumping around and then tilting the bed up and down 🤣

emma278 · 20/04/2020 13:39

Amazing congrats @Piper1879 !!!! How lovely.

Lilice · 20/04/2020 13:58

@Piper1879 congrats, so sweet Bear

ShiningStarz · 20/04/2020 14:11

Awwww @Piper1879 that's sooo lovely, glad all is well. A little bit too!! 💙

ShiningStarz · 20/04/2020 15:27

The nuna leaf seems to come in 2 types: the leaf and the leaf grow! Confused, @Roxy8203 which one did you go for?

Lilice · 20/04/2020 16:18

It is so confusing because there's too much choice. I used to have one that would vibrate, swing and play music all at the same time but hubby got rid if it... I dont want to spend too much money either because it's the kind of stuff they outgrow quickly but I did watch a video about the nuna leaf and it can then be used as a seat for toddlers.

ShiningStarz · 20/04/2020 16:20

@Lilice that's the video I watched, can be used up to age 3, which would be fab and maybe worth it more especially as it's so expensive!
