17+5 now. Can't bloody wait for this virus to bugger off!

This just came up as a sponsored ad on my Instagram (who says your phone isn’t listening to you!)... I’ve worked out I’m having a girl! Or a boy. My conception date is around new year - so could’ve been December or January?! 😂

Hi everyone, I'm new here, my due date is the 2nd of September so I'm currently 20 weeks! Halfway through!!!
How is everyone finding things?
I've found I'm so bloated, especially in the evening, not nice at all

Has anyone started to feel movements yet?

I just want to say thank you to everyone on this thread for all the support and lovely messages, it has meant so much to me

Unfortunately they don't have any answers for me yet! They called this afternoon and said they've received the referral and all the images but haven't been able to review them yet. They've promised they'll be in touch on Monday or Tuesday next week. So just another few days waiting!!

@Cherrychops100 that's the same due date as me! My bump definitely gets bigger throughout the day and I feel massive by the evening!

@Lazydaisydaydream ah that's nice we have the same date! And yes that's so true! I find by morning I'm asking myself where she's gone, my baby bump seems to shrink. Have you found out what you're expecting yet? x

My boobs have been sore again this week but my belly is definitely growing! Invested in some maternity clothes so when I am allowed to leave the house again I do actually have something to wear 😂

Thanks for the messages earlier. The scan was lovely and the nurse explained everything, all is good with the baby, I have to go back for a scan at 32 weeks as my placenta is a little low but not worried about it. Just happy to see a very active little boy

@Cherrychops100 no we are keeping it a surprise. Last time I wanted to know but my husband wanted a surprise so I agreed, and actually loved having a surprise so that's what we've agreed on from the beginning this pregnancy. Gives me something to focus on at the end

And on the conception date.... Ours is from my husband's birthday haha. I have really irregular cycles but was pretty certain when I would be due because of that

@sianyflewog boy for me based on that gender predictor as definitely conceived in the first week of January!

@Cherrychops100 no movements for me yet but my due date is right at the end of September so might be a while yet. I really can't wait to start to feel them!

@Lorna198 my little boy is a wedding anniversary baby 😂 Apparently we only do it on special occasions! Lol

@Roxy8203 Lovely scan picture, congratulations on a boy. I had a low lying placenta too - they say 9/10 times it moves so fingers crossed. Mine actually didn’t, so I just delivered by elective section. Wasn’t a drama at all. Just be extra careful with carrying things, exercise, etc as there is a higher risk of bleeding.

@sianyflewog according to the Chinese predictor I'm having a boy... But using the dates of when I conceived my son it says he should have been a girl haha

I’m so silly!!! I was checking in on the old post from yesterday evening every half hr waiting to hear from roxy!!! I was getting worried!! Only when I went to write a msg this morning i realised you all moved over here!!!

@sianyflewog that is too funny!! I’m not sure my exact date as my cycle length varied. I’m excited about not knowing the sex. I wouldn’t have minded knowing but my partner wants a surprise!!

I had an old Debenhams gift card I found and worried they may go under so I spent it on the few baby grows they had left In newborn size. Very odd buying baby things!! I definitely don’t have the urge to buy more!!

Ps checking in I’m 20 weeks tomorrow. Feeling very excited!! Scan is on 28th April. Just 10 sleeps to go now!!

@shiningstarz I've also bought my first item for this baby this week, a little cute newborn sized pyjamas from matalan.
I need to go to the attic to sort out the rest and see what gender neutral stuff I already have

@sianyflewog the chinese calendar says I'm having a boy. But it says my girl should have been a boy and my boy a girl. So maybe I'm having a girl haha 🤣
I do have a feeling I'm expecting a girl just by looking at the scan photo, I think it looks like a girl. Has anyone ever felt the same, just by looking at the scan picture?

@lilice I was completely convinced during my last pregnancy it was a boy (and it was). This time I'm definitely getting girl vibes so who knows.
