Eurghhhhh the pregnancy insomnia hits again! Awake 2:30 - 5:30 last night, after initially being woken by my 3 year old... up for the day at 7. How much caffeine can we have again? 🥱

I’m in need of a coffee this morning to @sianyflewog! Had my wooping cough vaccine yesterday and the resulting achy arm kept me up most of the night!!! Side sleeping with it is so uncomfortable! It still aches now so I hope it’s easing off my tonight

Fantastic scan news @Sunshinexx95 it's two more weeks till mine and I think I'm going to find out the sex this time! I've got two boys so a little girl would be amazing... 🌈

I'm suffering with pregnancy insomnia too @sianyflewog it's awful just lying there for hours so I've started getting up and makings drink or reading downstairs for a while. I get really self conscious about all the fidgeting I do in case I wake DP up!

Welcome @rocknrosie you must be over the moon! I'm 38 too and it took 18 months of ttc to get here. Can't believe we're almost halfway there. I'm due on the 21st September but I'm having a section so it will be the week before when I get to meet baby!

I think I'm getting used to lockdown now. Pyjamas are my friend, I found a decaf coffee that's not too bad, some dealcoholised wine that's actually good & I have a local company delivering me lots of cake today!

Hope everyone has a good day 😊

Ooo yumyum good idea on the cake @LatteLover12!! I want to bake some cakes but I can’t get flour anywhere at the moment. I’ve taken to drinking appletizer out of a wineglass so I can “pretend” it’s wine 🤣🤣

God I miss a glass of wine! I’ve been having an alcohol free koppaberg which doesn’t make me feel so bad! Would love to know the good dealcoholised wine @LatteLover12!

I’ve been trying to drink more fluids but I feel like I’m constantly drinking but not really upping my intake!

You need Natureo wine @sianyflewog & @OrDis

They do a red, white and a rose and it's fab. The red is probably the most realistic but the white and rose are fab too.

I got mine in Waitrose but then ordered a case of the white on amazon for about £30.

I know I sound like a total lush but I really missed a glass of wine on a sunny evening!

Doesn’t matter what the weather, I just miss a nice glass of wine!

My partner went to the off licence today to get beer. I was standing outside staring at the gin, wine and Prosecco bottles!!! 🙈 the lockdown definitely helps!!

Anyone else pat their belly to try and get movement?!

Report
sianyflewog · 22/04/2020 20:55

Ha yes @ShiningStarz - I rub my tummy all the time!

Just to have one last moan for today, the heartburn has started already. Don’t remember it starting this early last time. Must’ve had about 1/4 bottle of Gaviscon today. Start stocking up ladies!

I always hold my tummy! Kicks getting stronger now. My husband felt it tonight he actually got a bit teary!! X

Awwww that's so sweet @emma278 💜

@sianyflewog oh flip the heartburn sounds awful ☹️ I woke at 4am with another nose bleed. I'v had a couple in last week. I'v been feeling full after dinner and v burpy but no need for gaviscon thankfully.

My partner took bump pic of me today and I look like I'v got a double chin, im a size 10 and I'm soo happy to be pregnant, just today I freaked out. I'm so hungry all the time and this isolation is not good for the waistline!! Anyone else?

I rub my tummy, as soon as I feel anything, but that seems to stop it 🤣🤣 which makes it really hard for me to be sure if it was real 🤣

sianyflewog · 22/04/2020 21:14

@ShiningStarz Embrace it! If you can’t have a couple of extra pounds when pregnant, when can you? I am also usually an 8/10 and I feel generally enormous, yet doesn’t stop me from scoffing salt and vinegar Pringles (despite the heartburn) 🙈

Report
ShiningStarz · 22/04/2020 21:19

Lol @sianyflewog I think because I don't have to get into work clothes and see people I seem to have lost the desire to care!! Your right tho, I should embrace it! I should also put down the crisps and stop the home baking 🙈🙈

What baby wants @ShiningStarz! I sent a bump pic to some of the girls from work, and they couldn’t believe how big I’ve gotten in the last few weeks 😂

Hi ladies, I hope it's ok if I join you here, o was on another September thread but it seems to have gone pretty dead. I'm 19+2, edd 15th Sept. I'm having a boy, first baby for me. My big scan is not until 21 weeks, so I'm just wishing the days away atm

Report
Lorna198 · 23/04/2020 11:23

Hi @Sulkypatsy welcome and congratulations! My scan is 29th. Time is going so slow lol. I’m due on the 12th sept.
How’s it going for you?

Report
Sulkypatsy · 23/04/2020 11:49

@lorna198
Thanks for the welcome. The time really is going so slowly! Pregnancy is so amazing, overall I love being pregnant, but it definitely hasn't been easy, I've a difficult mental health history, although I'm doing better now there was a few weeks where I was afraid of relapse. Also have spd, pretty severe pain in one of my hips sometimes. I can only be grateful as we tried a long time for this baby but the lack of medical care/support is very hard. How has it been for you?
I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone here gets on going forward, groups like this are even more important now with the lack of classes and chances to meet other mums

Hi ladies had this odd mild stich pain on and off real low on my tummy almost on my knicker line today. Only lasts a second or two but comes and goes. Thoughts? X

@MooseWL Mine are really itchy! I’m just blaming the hormones.

@emma278 could be ligaments stretching? Xx

emma278 · 23/04/2020 15:37

Yes i thought that @sianyflewog its right inside, im wondering if baby is pushing something. Xx

Chanel05 · 23/04/2020 17:00

@emma278 I get this, I'm assuming it's some sort of stretch!

@Sulkypatsy I'm also due on 15th! I have my scan next Wednesday, I'll be glad when it's over really as I get major scanxiety.
