Our car seat came yesterday, weve gone for the silver cross dream isize and isofix base its lovely. My mum has ordered our pram we've gone for Silver Cross Pacific Autograph. Ive always liked Silver Cross.

I am also craving sweet! Cant get enough chocolate raisins and cakes. Our scales have run out of batteries so im blissfully ingnorant to my weight gain, to be fair all the people I have seen at a distance have said im all bump so fingers crossed it stays that way!!!

Afternoon everyone! Hope everyone's ok !! Had a private scan yesterday and managed to sneak a peek of my little man in 4d ... my god it's all so real now , that's sent me into panic mode 🤣🙈 I'm trying to look at getting a sleigh space saver cot bed , but everything I've seen is out of stock or a massive delivery wait time ! Have any of you ordered cots yet ? Spent a hot weekend decorating the nursery , still have to panel the wall but that can't happen until b&q timber cutting re opens but for now it's gone from glittery pink to grey 🤗🥰

Awww @Piper1879 it's so exciting!' I got a quick peak yesterday too. It's very real!!
I order the snuzpod 3 from baby planet. Hasn't arrived yet but it should do sometime next few weeks. Sheets from amazon/John Lewis. Do you know what you want?
I phoned natural baby shower to amend my pram order and they picked up the phone straightaway and you get 10% off first order, really pleased with their service.

I ordered our snuzpod from bababoom boutique and it was here in about three days. The website suggested it was going to be a couple of weeks but it got here super fast - have opened the box to check everything looks ok but not set it up yet as not quite ready with the space!

So glad your scan went well @Piper1879

@Piper1879 I ordered a cot bed and a changing table/chest of drawers on online4baby in April and it will be delivered in july. I also ordered chico next to me bed from the same website and that arrived the next day! The travel system also came in just a few days. I'm just ordering anything I need now and not delaying anymore, I'm worried about things running out of stock. The nursery isn't far from ready though

Sorry I meant it's far from ready. I need to buy a nursing chair and a baby Swing. What is everyone getting?

Hi! I am not sure if you have discussed these things already, but I wondered if anyone has bought a Chico next to me Magic crib? That’s the one I am looking at currently and wondered if anyone had seen it in person? We’re hoping to go to Baby Planet when they open as a friend recommended the Egg pushchair. Has anyone had a play with one or bought one? We’re looking at the Camo Sand colour way in a bundle with the maxi Cosi pebble plus car seat.

@Piper1879 I order a set from online4baby in April and it was delivered this week Smile We got so excited that we built it within 2 days! Instructions were really easy and it's all very sturdy!

@Luna88 we had the Chicco next to me dream for my son and will reuse it again this time. Have had a look at the magic and looks like the main difference is the sliding panel at the side, looks a bit neater as the fabric did bunch up a bit on the dream, but nothing that bothered me. The dream rocks but in a different mechanism to the magic, we didn't use the rocking much because you had to undo the straps from the bed.

My main criticism of the next to me is the mattress is rock hard... I know babies are meant to sleep on a firm surface but that thing is like a rock compared to other baby mattresses! We are buying a replacement this time.

We were limited on which co sleeper we could get as we have a sleigh bed so not many of them would go flat against the bed.

@Lazydaisydaydream That’s great advice. I hope we get to go out and see things in person. It’s so hard making decisions when you can’t feel stuff! I will make sure I have a good feel of the mattresses to compare. I heard the rocking feature is good but obviously it would be very frustrating to have to unstrap it all the time! Sort of defeats the object of not having to get out of bed!

@lazydaisydaydream I've bought the chicco next to me dream but havent even opened the box yet, I'm bad. Where are you buying the replacement mattress from? I'll probably get one too as a rock hard mattress doesn't sound good. Is it the same type as a travel cot?

Oh ok, you guys are giving me a kick Up the bum so going to get ordering this weekend.

We are getting the snuzpod 3 as I like that you can take the top of it and have it anywhere. But the next to me was a close second. Interesting about the mattress @lazydaisydream good idea to get a different one.

I have felt really tired and achy today. Forced myself to do a 45 min workout in a bid to feel better but I didn't and then ate a cornetto 🙈 I'm hoping when kids go back to school I'll feel less shattered and overwhelmed all the time 🤞

@ChipsAreLife that’s such a mood for me right now! My OH keeps saying I’m doing so well keeping up with various bits of exercises (although I’m having to start dropping things as I get bigger which is frustrating) but then it’ll be like “well yeah we went for that nice walk but then I ate a magnum and half a pack of hobnobs...”

@Lilice ordering the mattress from here babymattressesonline.co.uk/custom-made-mattress-to-fit-chicco-next

You can choose different depths and materials etc (although read the notes about which ones are baby safe). They also do fitted sheets to match so will probably get a few more as only had two last time. The mattress we had still looks brand new as we had a waterproof cover and he barely slept in it anyway haha. Our local animal shelter takes old baby mattresses for the cats and dogs to sleep on so will donate it to them Grin

@emma278 when you say mole, what does it look like? I've got quite a few raised dots all over my areola. I think they are something to do with lubrication for breastfeeding?! I remember them from last time but there seem more this time haha. You could always just ask your midwife to have a look if you think it's something else!

I think i’m more on the salty cravings. Seem to want a lot of crisps, crackers, bacon etc. Normally I have a real sweet tooth!

The likes of facebook and instagram are killing me with the targeted advertising at the moment! Literally every other post seems to be some adorable baby product! I want to buy them all!!!!

@Luna88 I’ve got the next to me magic but not seen it yet as it’s at my mums, as she ordered it for me. From what I’ve seen it doesn’t look like you have to unstrap it to rock it? I think it’s different from the previous model? But maybe I’m wrong!?

Has anyone ever used the baby support sponge which they rest on in the baby bath?
My sister in law used to use it for my beice so I ordered it off amazon. I remember she found it useful in early weeks as baby was so slippy and hard to hold and bath securely. She was under 6lbs tho!

Our little one is 1.5lbs at 25 week day 1. The consultant said all on track and that it is a small baby... so far!!

@OrDis totally the same on the targeted ads but luckily so far everything I’ve gone to look at that I just want rather than needing has been out of stock anyway so it’s saving me some money that way 😂

@ChipsAreLife this is what I keep telling myself but I’ve had to abandon running in the last two weeks and think riding my horse is pretty much out now so I’m probably going to have to slow down on the eating at some point 😂. Not keen on this heat without a bit of ice cream though!
