@Smiffette what is a ham doughnut?! Is it savoury like a bagel? Or a sweet doughnut?

I didn't eat anything other than plain carbs until about 11 weeks but now I've had a few mince pies and ice cream, some chocolates out of Christmas tubs and a chocolate brownie!

Smiffette · 23/12/2019 15:53

@chocolate26 sorry predictive text JAM donuts! I'm a veggie so definitely not Ham 😂

Lemonysherbet · 23/12/2019 17:18

@Lemonysherbet thanks for doing that 😃 it's great to read through it!

Lemonysherbet · 23/12/2019 17:31

No worries, crazy how many of us there are 😁

How's everyone getting on? I'm so glad for a Christmas break. Feel like I can get back on top of life admin!

hjbows88 · 23/12/2019 20:53

Amazing @Lemonysherbet thanks so much for doing that! Loving sharing this experience with you ladies on here x

MissisBee · 23/12/2019 21:19

I would like to second the recommendation for the book Expecting Better. It is excellent.
I've been eating really badly - the last couple of days I haven't felt like dinner, so I've just had sticky toffee pudding instead ☺️
Just enjoyed a mug of mulled apple juice this evening too.
14+5

BabyBird20 · 23/12/2019 23:32

@lemonysherbert thank you so much for doing that! I just be made a typo when I put my details on as I'm 36, not 46!! 😬😬 Certainly look 46 with the insomnia eyebags I've been developing though 😂😂

I was wondering if there's a Facebook page going for this group yet or if we should start one? What do people think? Xx

cookingbabydunc · 23/12/2019 23:58

@Lemonysherbet thanks so much for putting the list together! It's really lovely to see.

I stopped work on Friday and after 3 pretty low key days have FINALLY managed to shift my cold. Final week in work was bonkers busy and I was getting progressively worse. Got just over a week off now. It's been a long time coming!!

I cracked my pregnancy pillow out last weekend and have been enjoying it. I'm not worried about rolling onto my back at the stage, it just feels quite uncomfortable (also usually a back sleeper and already missing it!)

I'd be happy with a FB group ☺️

Babymaher · 24/12/2019 03:21

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I’m literally bursting with excitement me and hubby are telling our family Christmas Day about the baby. It’s been so hard to keep it a secret from them, just 1 more night shift to work and then back to work Boxing Day. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas 🎄

AmyMaria2 · 24/12/2019 06:37

Thanks @Lemonysherbet was good to read through the list!

I was in for an emergency scan last night, have had such awful stomach pains, they're so hard to explain but just really right and all over, agony when I turn over in bed or bend down. They scanned and heard heart beat so baby was fine (thank goodness) they did an internal to check cervix we're closed and took a swab, they think it is just severe ligament pains, have to go back if it's still as painful Boxing Day! Fingers crossed it's nothing more serious 🤞😓

On a brighter note I hope you all have a lovely Christmas! We'll all have a baby next Christmas!! xx

16+6

chocolate26 · 24/12/2019 08:59

@AmyMaria2 sorry to hear you have had a lot of pain but so glad to hear baby is okay 😊 where your pains like the sharp ligament pains? All throughout my pregnancy, I'm 14+3 now, I have had horrible pains! Period pains and weird sharp pains but everything has always been fine. I do believe they are bad ligament pains and everything stretching around Smile it is very worrying though!

umabb · 24/12/2019 09:15

Hey ladies just wanted to wish you a very merry Xmas !
@AmyMaria2 it sounds scary ! Glad baby is okay. How do you feel now ? Hope you feel better and enjoy a peaceful Christmas.

@Lemonysorbert thanks for the effort putting together the list ! You are awesome !

I had a challenging week. Having stomach ache no matter what I ate and kept on walking up because feeling bloated and achy. Much better today after a few days of lighter and smaller meals Xmas Grin getting ready for my Xmas dinner hehe

15+2

umabb · 24/12/2019 09:17

@Lemonysherbet oops sorry I typed your name wrong. It didn't let me tag you properly so I typed. Thanks for the effort putting together the list xx

Lemonysherbet · 24/12/2019 10:49

No worries all, it made me realise how many of us there are 🥰

Oops sorry @BabyBird20 didn't mean to age you 10 years 🙈

@umabb @chocolate26 thank you, i still have the pains today but I do feel like there easing off, hopefully it will be ok after a relaxing Christmas! x

Zoey92 · 24/12/2019 21:31

Have a fantastic Christmas everyone x

Twittlebee · 25/12/2019 07:16

Merry Christmas all, just checking in! It's been a while, been mainly on the pregnancy after loss antenatal group but would also like to keep up on here with those at same gestation too.

Thank you for putting that list together, can I add on @Lemonysherbet ?
@Twittlebee , 25, 3rd baby, DD 26.06.20 (ERCS 22.06.20) 💙💙💙 (NIPT said boy)

Pegase · 25/12/2019 07:36

Congrats @Twittlebee - remember you from the July 19 boards.

Hopefully we will get our rainbows finally!

Twittlebee · 25/12/2019 07:44

I hope we sure do bring home babies this time @Pegase ! So so much. Hope everyone here does 🤞

peetieswie · 25/12/2019 11:52

Happy Christmas everyone! Anyone get any pregnancy related presents? I've had some lovely soft maternity clothes and a parenting book. Excited about my handheld hoover though as the dyson is too heavy. God I'm old!

Had some shooting pains today which has been annoying, not sure if it's cos neice is visiting and I've been picking her up 😬 She's one.

Have a lovely day all of you!

APD1981 · 25/12/2019 12:16

@peetieswie happy Christmas! I haven't had any baby stuff yet but I've only seen hubby so far. I suspect my mum and sister will have got me some stuff. Mum couldn't wait! Hope you have a lovely day x

MissisBee · 25/12/2019 19:11

Happy Christmas!
Only pregnancy related thing I've got this year is piles 😫
Hope everyone is having a lovely day xx

Smiffette · 25/12/2019 21:22

Merry Christmas all!!

No pregnancy related presents....
My tummy feels so stretched from all the food! I think I might have to drag myself to the gym tomorrow to make myself feel better!
