i'm almost 14 weeks and starting to feel strong again but still have a cold/ congested sinuses and headaches 💀

i noticed lots of new names at the last thread x welcome all

I am up early with a horrible headache. I am exhausted and still feeling sick most days with nausea and I was hoping it would subside now that I am 13 weeks. I have my scan this Friday and I am starting to get nervous and anxious to see the baby and know that he is safe and growing in there.

I hope everyone else is doing well!

Your welcome everyone. So gender scan yesterday and I am having a ........ boy. So happy my little boy wanted a brother so he is very happy.

Getting so nervous about tomorrow and having this stitch put in so taking it easy today.

14 weeks today and got my screening result back from last wednesdays scan & bloods and it is 1 in: 26232 so I am pleased with that. Good luck to those with scans this week.

It has been 4 days since my Harmony test, I can't wait any longer! I really want to know all is good, and the gender! I hope results will come by end of week.

Hi everyone!

I've not been on for a while! I'm now 16+1 and had my 16 week appt yesterday. I got to hear the heartbeat which was amazing! Got a nice clear recording of it!

I see a few people have been on longhaul flight. How was it? I'm flying to Mauritius in December, I'll be about 18 weeks!

I am loving hearing everyone that have found out the gender.... I'm torn on whether to find out or not!! My DH really wants to but I think I'd like a surprise. But I want him to feel as involved as possible?! Hmmmm?

Hi everyone! I'm 16+6 and had a private gender scan last week - we're having a boy!
I do like the idea of waiting for the surprise- but myself and my husband are the world's most impatient people. I think finding out will help us bond with the baby and also enjoyable picking up
some boy clothes x

I had my 16 week check today (I’m 17 weeks now) but the midwife didn’t check for a heartbeat as she said baby is too small at this stage to do it?? 😫 Bit disappointed but hopefully everything is ok.

Hi all. Thank you @fluffyunicorns86 for setting up a new thread. And huge congratulations to you and @jeffsar4 on the baby boys 💙 so many boys on this thread. I can only think I’ve heard of 1girl so far!

I’m 14wks today, over all feeling better but still tired and feel icky if I don’t eat and have had a couple of dizzy spells. Nothing worrying tho. Got out screening results back, DS screening was 1:3400 which is double what it was 4yrs ago with DD, crazy how a few extra years add that risk. The others were very low at 1:29000 and 1:50000 so over all pretty happy with results considering I’m nearly 36!

I haven’t bought any maternity stuff yet as had a few bits already and sister in law has lent me some. I have my Christmas party in a few weeks tho and dreading what I’ll look like, I’ll be 16wks by then.

I can’t wait to find out what we are having but have to wait till New Year’s Eve. Everyone thinks boy but I think girl. I did Chinese prediction and it said girl. Has anyone tried that??

Harmony results came back - all good and we will have a girl! 😍 We can start using appropriate pronouns when talking about her 😀

@Purple29 i'm in your shoes. i really feel like waiting until closer to the birth to know the sex but hubby wants to know ASAP. i wanted to know with my first but fancy a little tease with this.
