I am a little nervous about starting this thread as I was previously on the March 2008 thread but m/c'd. But I got my bfp this morning and although still faint it is clearly there.

Anyone else coming to nervously join me?

did you try to get pregnant immediately after your miscarriage? Or did you wait for one period first?

belgo · 26/07/2007 09:43

the reason I ask is that I've also just miscarried.

Congratulations on your BFP!

Rainbowdays · 26/07/2007 10:40

Belgo - firstly sorry to hear that you have just miscarried. It is a difficult time. Nope I did not wait, I miscarried on the 2nd July, I was only 5 weeks and 1 day. But I ignored all advice and just treated it like a late heavy period. I carried on temping and knew when I ov'd and today is only 9dpo. But I only ov'd a couple of days later than usual, it did not affect my cycle too much! Emotionally, it might have been better to wait, but I decided not to and I am nervous now but not worried that I did not wait.

I was wondering when the April thread would start.

oooggs · 26/07/2007 11:10

wooo hooo - been waiting for this (no not pregnant just from the April 07 thread) wishing you all the very best and hope you have a trouble free pregnancy.

My dts are 17 weeks today

elkiedee · 26/07/2007 11:28

Another wellwisher from due in April 2007, we were wondering when this thread would turn up. Congratulations rainbowdays and anyone else who has that bfp, hope all goes well!

Kneehighinnappies · 26/07/2007 12:13

Another april 07 mummy here just thought i would pop in and add my congratulations

derah · 26/07/2007 15:03

Yay Rainbowdays! I'm so happy about your BFP!! We miss you on the March thread but it's great that you're here to start the April one.

I'm sure there will be lots of April ladies along to join you soon. There's one on the March board cos she didn't know where to go. It might be really lovely if you stopped by and told everyone your good news, and invited any April people to join you (not that we want to get rid of them, they just might be happy to have a proper April place to post).

spugs · 26/07/2007 15:21

hiya rainbow days, congrats again on the bfp im on the march thread after miscarrying at 6.5 weeks in May. we started trying straight away but i didnt catch till after my first af. its nerve wracking but fab.
belgo - theres no reason to wait other then for dates so good luck x

Rainbowdays · 26/07/2007 16:19

Hi Spugs - great to be here with you, we can be nervous together!!! Lets hope and pray that these ones are sticky ones and that we will get our bundles of joy this time. What is your edd?

Thank you to everyone for their congratulations too.

I will wait patiently over the next couple of days for the line on the hpt to be much darker.

Congratulations to you all. Another April 7 mummy here. Rainbow days, I had a m/c at the end of June last year, concieved almost straight away after, and now my ds is sitting in his car seat fast asleep in front of me - 12 weeks today.

Good luck to you all.

micegg · 27/07/2007 15:02

Got a positive pregnancy test this morning.I haven't been to the docs yet but think I am due 4th April. Hello to you all!

Rainbowdays · 28/07/2007 08:40

Hi and congratulations studentmum and micegg. Sorry I have not been back here earlier to congratulate you both. I have had a fraught day or so, I repeated my hpt yesterday and it came back as a grey line rather than a faint bfp. But today the colour is there again, so I am trying to remain hopeful, but having just had an early m/c at the start of this month, I am a little nervous.

How are you both feeling? I have no symptoms yet.

studentmum1 - edd April 1
micegg - edd April 4
rainbowdays - edd April 8

Springflower · 28/07/2007 11:25

Hi, I just got my BFP today and am due 4 April. I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in March (my 3rd) so am also trying not to get too excited. I already have 3 DS who are 5, 3 and 2. No symptoms yet either.

Doingitallagain · 28/07/2007 18:01

Wow, this is fab to have April edds here. I came here looking and not expecting to find - just shows me!

This is my first post, so big congratulations to everybody. After doing 4 tests over the last 3 days, I finally believe the result. Should be due April 7 I think. Have a dd who is 13 and dd2 who is 7 months. I wanted two close together this time instead of two only children, iyswim. But didn't expect to catch quite this quick at my (old) age!

Rainbowdays · 28/07/2007 19:44

Springflower and doingitallagain - congratulations and welcome. It is great to have the group growing.

Springflower - I hope we both have good burrowing babes that stick with us this time.

Doingitallagain - so how ancient are you???? Are you willing to fess-up?!?!?!?

Micegg and studentmum1 - are you still here too.... you are very quiet, perhaps it is just a busy weekend!

Doingitallagain · 28/07/2007 19:54

Hi RD. I'm 40, and my dp is 42. Was just reading on the conception threads (that I was haunting for the last few weeks) a couple of people saying that they really don't want to still be ttc at 40! Made me feel slightly past it . But hey, if it still works .
Fingers crossed yours is a sticker this time.

Springflower · 28/07/2007 21:13

I think I should be no spring flower as I am 42. I originally had 40 as my cut off (had 3 DS at 36, 38 and 39 bies but as I had always fancied 4 decided at Christmas just to go for it and made my cut off 43. Had one month left to go before giving up and if I miscarry again I've decided thats it - so fingers crossed!

micegg · 28/07/2007 21:21

Hi all,

I have had a busy weekend hence the quietness on my part. I am mostly trying to fight off the urge to throw up everywhere and have absolutely no appretite. Trying very hard to not get too excited as early days. Going to doc on monday. Fingers crossed for us all.

M x

Doingitallagain · 29/07/2007 10:45

Morning all.
Micegg - poor you starting with ms already. I threw up on Thursday, but think it's too early to be ms, probably more to do with this stinking cold I have. It's a good sign for you though

Springflower - good for you extending your cut off. Not sure if I'd give myself one in the first place tho - too scarey. Although I s'pose I have thought that I'll def be done by 45. Dp would wince at that, he's determined this one is the last. But I kind of think what will be will be. If we hadn't managed to conceive again, I'd just be really grateful for the girls we have. Fingers crossed for you this time.

Rainbowdays, how you doing? What tests are you using? Does it matter about the line colour, isn't a line a line? (says me who didn't believe my first two at all, thinking cos they were internet cheapies they could well be wrong - not!)

I've finally started to get sore (.)(.) - always my first symptom with my other pgs, so feels more proper now. xx

Rainbowdays · 29/07/2007 10:52

He he he!!!! Sorry could not contain a little giggle there. I am nearly 40 too!!!! We are a bunch of oldies here!!

Studentmum1 - hope you don't feel put off by us old foggies here! By your name, I was wondering what you are studying? Are you at university?

Micegg- Aw I hope that you don't get too rough with morning sickness, poor you. Is this your first pg? Are you a young or old mum? So many questions sorry!

Thought I would update the list today:

APRIL 08
studentmum1 - edd April 1
micegg - edd April 4
Springflower - edd April 4
doingitallagain - edd April 7
rainbowdays - edd April 8
