I am a little nervous about starting this thread as I was previously on the March 2008 thread but m/c'd. But I got my bfp this morning and although still faint it is clearly there.

Anyone else coming to nervously join me?

I'm doing a BA in world religions. (That usually stops a thread lol )

Trousers ARE tight but only because I ate so much last week whilst we were away LOL! My friend is only a few weeks (6) ahead though and has nbeen in amternity clothes for a bit, at 6 weeks I stopped her to as if she was og as it was noticeable!

I'm nor organised, just used to chaos . Ogh and I have a good Dh who works shifts so is often around in the day

I am not convinced that all is well with me, I have cramping going on but no other symptoms at all. I had more symptoms last month with the m/c. I am wondering if I am heading that way again.

eeyoreuk - congrats and welcome.

Peachy - I think studying world religions is facinating, I did my degree in theology and social science!!!!

Sorry I am not feeling too chatty at the moment so just big waves to everyone else.

V1KK1M · 01/08/2007 19:55

Hi All,

Just thought I'd share my symptoms as I feel better knowing how others are doing to. I have cramps off and on with some slight niggly little pains. I have v. sore boobs and have had to start wearing a bra to bed and to top it off I woke up last night feeling at 3am feeling sick and couldn't get back to sleep.

As for the waistband - definitly tight, but this might be due to all the rhubarb & custard sweets I've been eating to stop feeling sick!

It's all good fun isn't it?!?! I have the doc's on Friday so I will check in then and let you all know how it goes. I'm hoping they will offer a viability scan due to last m/c and put my mind at rest.

Peachy · 02/08/2007 09:04

My GP can't see me for another week- not too bothered though as want to be as un-medicalised as poss )first pg was rough, hyperemesis and then pre-eclampsia, and the only times I have been in local hospital were to have ds1 and ds3 dx with sn, so home much better for me psychologically!)

Have ahd loads of cramps but remember that from before, nausea (not yet sick- in pg1 I was in hospital at 7 weeks on a drip so not sure whether or to be worried), mainly tired,a nd dh being a bit of a it and refusing to get up in the mornings so I'm doingt he kids. Ah well.

Doingitallagain · 02/08/2007 12:25

Hi all, and congrats to everyone I haven't said hello to yet - we seem to be growing nicely!
Just wanted to check in, as have been so busy this week (organising naming party for dd2 on Sat) haven't had a chance to. Rainbowdays and Springflower, hope everything still sticky for you? And for everyone else too of course. No symptoms here yet, other than slightly sore boobs, but not too bad. Oh, and lots of aches and cramps, but remember they were bad last time too.

Rainbowdays · 02/08/2007 16:45

Hi all, I thought I would come in and just say that although I am still nervous, I did finally get a slightly darker line today on the pg tests, so maybe this little one is holding on after all. hope so.

Peachy · 02/08/2007 19:11

I do hope so rainbowdays, I ahve the notrmal nerves of course but I am lucky not to have the panics you do (mine start post birth, see if LO has ASD like 2 siblings, but thats a long time off)

XXXXXX

Rainbowdays · 02/08/2007 20:55

Peachy - I hope that all is well with this new bubby. I think you said that your children have learning difficulties, so I assume you mean autistic spectrum disorders, or is it atrial septal defect? Do they have aspergers? Sorry I am being nosey here, please feel free to ignore these questions if you want to. Sorry have just read back and you talk about not being able to change one of your ds' routine, so I guess it is autism - sorry I am being dim tonight

I have got sore (0)(0)'s tonight too, so finally seem to be starting to get some pregnancy symptoms, it is reasurring.

How is everyone else?

OP posts:
Peachy · 02/08/2007 21:07

Oh no don't feel bad about asking, its just the way it is one has high functioning autism (DS1), DS3 has a sever language delay which seems to be accompanied by severe 9the milder end of severe) autism- but he has no formal dx as yet, awaiting more assessments

DS2 is completely NT! As they come- even has lists of friends awaiting play dates he's that sociable (phew!)

Rainbowdays · 03/08/2007 09:26

Well, my pg test line was the same as yesterday, more convining so, now allowing myself to change from scarey fear to excited fear, of the sort "what have I done now!!" .

Peachy - you certainly have your hands full! How do you find time to do the BA at the same time, you must be super-organised!!!

Doingitallagain - how are you feeling? Are you getting tired with the pg yet. I remember when I had my two close together that the tiredness of bf and lifting small baby mixed in well with the tiredness of early pregnancy!!! I hope you are doing ok and hope the naming party goes well tomorrow.

VK - hope you don't mind me shortening your name, I get confused typing it all, preggo brain must have hit me already!! I hope that the trip to the doc's today goes well for you and that you get the early scan offered too.

studentmum - how are you? I hope you are ok, it is a horrible time in the waiting. Did you get the hcg levels back yet? I really hope that all is ok, please come back and let us know how you are.

Everyone else - you are all being quiet! How are you all?

Hi everyone,

I'm due on April 11th, all being well! Going to met my MIL for lunch today and it's going to be difficult to keep the news from her, but I will, for a couple of weeks.

Hope everyone is feeling lovely and pregnant today!

Congrats Muddyboots and welcome

I am so not hyper organised LOL. My DH is though..... and my CM is a wonder!.
The BA keeps me sane LOL, and gives me a purpose- I was quite career-y pre family and its nice to have something to move forwards with (plus its only 8 hours in uni next year pmsl).

Did another test this morning as I feel too well compared to previous pg's (sure it won't last!), Dh reckons that's because its a girl (doubt it,my sisters have a boy each and one is ecpecting ehr second, no girls at all), Ijust think its because i'm not working as I was with the other 3, and can nap if needed.

rainbowdays I ahve everything crossed for you!

shanks313 · 03/08/2007 11:07

V1KK1M · 03/08/2007 18:29

Hi All,

Thought I'd just let you all know about my doctors visit today.

I went to se the doctor and told her I was pregnant. They didn't double check, didn't send me for blood tests and said that they would book me in for a scan the first week in Sept to try and find a heart beat to try and put my mind at rest.

Is this normal?!?! I'm not too worried as it's early days.

She also confirmed that the aches and pains are normal as everything is stretching but that if any of the symptoms dissapear (i.e. sore boobs, tiredness) that I should go straight back.

It is hard not to worry but I'm going to start being positive now.

Just wondered when you are all planning on telling people too?
