I am a little nervous about starting this thread as I was previously on the March 2008 thread but m/c'd. But I got my bfp this morning and although still faint it is clearly there.

Anyone else coming to nervously join me?

Doingitallagain - morning x-post with you. good to here about the (0)(0) being reassuring for you. I still have not real symptoms. I have been using the internet cheap tests that are the stick rather than cartridge variety. I got more positives this morning and tested with a tesco test too and that also came up as a faint but clear line. So I know I am pg, just hoping that this one stays put, I could really do with a reassuring dark line soon.

Woohoo, RD, good news then. My ebay tests were sticks too. The first two, last Thursday and Friday, were really faint. Just did another this morning, and it was a bit darker, but not as dark as I'd expected, seeing as both Clearblue digital and Superdrug own were very clear +ves. Funnily enough, I have OPK sticks left too, so I did one of those this morning (addicted, me? ), and that line came up a lot darker than the pregnancy test stick, and a lot darker than it did when I was ovulating. - That test was the most reassuring of the lot!

Loads of sticky stuff being willed your way.

LOL at the "oldies"

Hi all, I am also due on 1st April 2008.

Was a little worried so entered a post on the pregnancy site earlier tonight.

This is my second, my DS is 2 on 1st October. Was getting worried as with first pregnancy had morning sickness but have not had any yet, also had a few pains in my back and tummy. Clothes already feeling tighter though did not till alot later last time.

Look forward to speaking to you all throughout our happy times.

Sally

hiya, i disapeared onto the march thread for a bit.. i found blood on friday so i've been for a scan today and i panicked so i posted on march for some advice! seemed busier at mid afternoon! Ended up spending 5 hours in a&e on friday and felt like a pin cushion!
Rainbowdays I'm at Uni studying Fine Art, i'm part time so i just passed my first half of second year this june. I had my dd when i did my foundaton and i was full time back then. I celebrated my 21st not long ago, Suprisingly i always wanted kids in my 30's but its funny the curve balls life throws at you! This one was planned but my dd was a happy accident!

lorisparkle · 29/07/2007 21:28

Congratulations to everyone. I'm a possible too - I think about 2nd April but not really sure. My DS1 is 13 months and I'm still bf. Not sure how to cope with that one. I've also only just returned from maternity leave so that will be an interesting one too.

Fingers crossed everyone for a smooth time with not too much morning sickness and tiredness......

lemonaid · 30/07/2007 08:06

Hello. I'm due somewhere between 31 March and 3 April, not sure when exactly -- will need to see GP at some point but want to wait until 6 weeks or so. I have one DS who is 2.5, and I'm still bf too, lorisparkle.

Starting to feel a bit blech, which I am telling myself is a good sign (I've had a couple of early miscarriages in the past, so I'm a bit twitchy).

Rainbowdays · 30/07/2007 09:17

Studentmum - so scarey, I am glad to hear that the baby was in the right place, but I can empathise on the jittery stage. I am not sure whether this baby is going to stay put either. We can only wait. Fine Art, is it a good course? And of course congrats on your 21st!!!

doingitallagain - thank you for the reassurance, I really appriciate it.

Modsaluk - congratulations and welcome. With a second pregnancy, you will get bigger quicker so don't worry about that. And it is really early to be geting morning sickness yet. They say 6 weeks is when it normally starts! Enjoy the time before it starts!

Lorisparkle - congratulations and welcome, I was b/f when I got pg the second time. Ds was only 7 months and went off the taste of the milk and self weaned himself suddenly, it was a sad moment, but I had the pregnancy to look forward to.

Lemonaid - congratulations and welcome to you too. I had what I thought was early morningsickness last month, but ended up miscarrying, this time I am feeling abosolutely nothing, and I don't know what to think, it is such a strange time. But lets hope these ones stay put.

micegg · 30/07/2007 13:36

Rainbowdays - I am 33 and this will be my second child (DD 21 months). I always have nausea early in pregnancy. It started last week before I took the test which made me suspicious. Feel better today. I havent been sick yet and if it's anything like last time it should tail off by 9 weeks. Seeing the GP today.

Hope you ladies are all well.

Springflower · 30/07/2007 16:22

Hi everyone,
I have no symptoms at the moment (except mild headache which could be anything). Didnt really have any with other children though so thats not worrying me too much but would like something!! Just wondering if others who have had miscarriages are planning to have early scans? When I miscarried last time the EPU said I was eligible for one at 8 weeks so I thought I'd wait until I'm 5 weeks and phone to arrange it.
How did you get on at your GPs today Miceegg?

lemonaid · 30/07/2007 16:55

I've had two early m/c but I don't think I get an early scan this time unless I get some spotting (I did get one with DS, when I did have some spotting). I could pay to get one privately, I suppose, but I don't think I will (mind you, there's no telling to what lengths paranoia will drive me over the next few weeks...)

V1KK1M · 30/07/2007 18:13

Hi all, I need some advice too.

I have found out I am due on 2nd April 2008. I am soooooo scared as I had a blighted ovum in January 07.

The problem I'm having is that I am getting slight pains. Nothing agonising and it is not constant but I have the odd sharp pain on my right side and a dull ache every now and again. I'm so scarerd that I will m/c again.

Has anyone else felt this at all or is something wrong again? I have no spotting and still all other syptoms (sore boobs etc).

Also does anyone have any advice about how to stop worrying in the first 12 weeks?
Thanx

lemonaid · 30/07/2007 18:44

Dull ache is perfectly normal -- I had it when pregnant with DS in the early days but not with either of my m/c. I'm having it again, on and off, this time, so I'm treating it as a good sign.

V1KK1M · 30/07/2007 19:00

That's great thanks. I'm seeing the GP on Fri so I'm hoping that if I mention it they will send me for an early scan. I don't think I am going to believe it until I see a heartbeat so will probably have to wait until 8 weeks at least. Even considering a private scan:-)

I can't wait to get really excited though and start buying things!!!

micegg · 30/07/2007 20:35

Went to docs to get booked into local hospital (someone advised I book early!). It will be a different hosptal to one with DD. GP estimates my due date as 6/4/08. I (like most of you judging by the posts) is feeling very twitchy as its so early. Worrying myself stuoid about every little twinge or change in signs/symptoms. Time to chill I think!

Peachy · 31/07/2007 10:36

hello, can I join? Just found out tosday after trying 8 months. bit of an old timer on MN, as joimned when ds2 was small (over six years ago LOL), have 3 X ds at the moment.

My situation is a bit different- two of my boy7s have special needs (ASD so can be gentic) so first few years will watched very carefully!

Obviously very early days though so its just fingers crossed. Haven't even told Dh yet.

Peachy · 31/07/2007 10:37

(studentmum I graduate this next year, finish march so if I can get dissertation done only exams to face)

I keep having odd 'symptoms' but hard to know if it is 'all in the mind' or not. Yesterday I was soooo dizzy and have been feeling queasy (sp) and having odd twinges for weeks. One of my books does say you may have morning sickness from very early on.

DS1 just woken up so will catch up later (if I ever have the time - we are hoping to get our garage converted for the new lo but it is still full of boxes as we moved when DS1 was 6 weeks old)

Peachy · 31/07/2007 16:38

You can have early sickness (I know about MS LOL), but it can be a sign of bad sickness ahead, the best way to combat this is rest. Lots of.

lorisparkle · 31/07/2007 21:28

I'm surprised you can get any rest Peachy you must be very organised. I can't even organise myself, our house and a 1yr old let alone three children and a degree.

I'm off to the Drs tomorrow. I won't tell her that I also did my own personal pregnancy test - if red wine tastes like vinegar then I must be pg!

BTW we are not putting the lo in the garage but the spare bedroom is currently the office which will go into the garage LOL

studentmum1 · 31/07/2007 21:35

hi peachy, what are you studying? i still have 3 years to go

micegg · 31/07/2007 22:34

Any of you got tight trouser waistbands already? I don't know if I am imagining it but I feel like my trousers are cutting me in half. Vaguely remeber this happening last time.

lorisparkle · 01/08/2007 09:30

I have not lost my extra weight from my tummy from the last pregnancy so my troucers have always been a little tight LOL
