In response to the last thread...
@rosettesforjill that sounds very stressful! I hope everyone is okay. But that is very exciting! What does it feel like?

Adding a comment to add this thread to my activity - don't often comment on here but like being part of such a reassuring group of ladies x

Hello 👋🏻

rosettesforjill · 29/10/2018 21:16

Thanks for the new thread @purplestar9

It's hard to describe really. Kind of like churning followed by a big nudge from the inside. Prior to that I've had quite a lot of "fizzing" but this is the first real movement!

FrazzyAndFrumpled · 29/10/2018 21:20

Hello!! Grin

purplestar9 · 29/10/2018 21:29

@rosettesforjill that's so exciting! Sorry if you've said recently but how far along are you?

Thanks for the new thread heads up Smile

I’ve had a very annoying stressful day and so happy to just sit down on the sofa finally with a cup of tea. Oh the simple things.

My scan is the day after tomorrow - Eeeek! I haven't had an early one this time around, and am biting my nails.

HalfBloodPrincess · 30/10/2018 11:03

Oops, put real name instead of username. Oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Kescilly · 30/10/2018 11:07

Hi ladies, I've been lurking a bit but thought I'd say hello. I'm in the June group because LMP gave me an EDD of June 4th, but a private scan has me at May 31st.

This is my first pregnancy so it's helpful to hear from people who are a bit ahead of me. Hope it's okay if I pop in every now and then!

rosettesforjill · 30/10/2018 11:13

@Firstbornunicorn DS is absolutely fine, just got the rash. GP even said it wasn't that contagious at this stage so a bit annoyed I'm having to use up leave unnecessarily!

DH came home from hospital about 6:30pm last night still in pain (having had several lots of morphine) but feels pretty much fine this morning. He's gone in anyway as they asked him to and has been waiting there since 8am!

SurfingOwl · 30/10/2018 11:14

Hi @Kescilly and welcome. I think we are quite spaced out already in this group from mid-April onward, and it’s not like babies tend to be obedient when it comes to being born!

I feel awful with a horrible cold but no pregnancy symptoms. I’m hoping all is ok and it’s juat because I am now in my second trimester. How is everyone else feeling?

SurfingOwl · 30/10/2018 11:15

Glad your DS is ok so far @rosettesforjill but frustrating about your leave. Has the hospital confirmed they will operate or do they just want to monitor for now?

Firstbornunicorn · 30/10/2018 11:23

@SurfingOwl thought I was over it, but this morning I cannot keep water down!! Really hope the end of the sickness is in sight.

purplestar9 · 30/10/2018 12:02

@SurfingOwl I also have the dreaded cold. Been feeling really crappy. I already suffer with tinnitus which got worse when the pregnancy started (which is normal apparently) but today it is so damn loud because of this cold! And like you, not much pregnancy symptoms, but I had heard the second trimester is much more comfortable.
