@rosettesforjill thanks for stating a new thread

I'm 28, 4+4, first baby

Continuing my rant on fatigue... I was working from home last week so wasn't too bad, I could sit on the sofa for half an hour and have a break. Much harder now I'm stuck in the office. I booked an evening class near my office for 7-9 every Monday for the entire academic year (before I knew I was pregnant!) so I'm here 9-9 today and foreseeable Mondays

Absolutely famished too but wary of pigging out and ballooning in pregnancy. I've already gained a couple of pounds even though I'm not eating any differently

MynameisJune · 17/09/2018 15:30

Thanks for the new thread!

I’m 33 (34 in 3 weeks) currently 5+3 baby number 2 all being well.

@dimblebimble I’m so tired, the tiredness never hit me this hard with DD. I start a new job tomorrow so need to fight through the tiredness in order to not look like an idiot in my first few weeks.

Baby brain also seems to have already come back with a vengeance or it could be exhaustion!

Thankfully I only work Tuesday-thurs so have 4 days off to recover.

Pebblespony · 17/09/2018 15:53

Just told my boss. She offered me a new role that I couldn't accept as it'll just get going as I leave. She stuck her neck out to get it for me so I decided to be honest. I probably won't be returning to this job after maternity this time.

Shazafied · 17/09/2018 16:04

Hi all, glad I found you again ! I'm 6+6 today and shattered !!

MimiSunshine · 17/09/2018 17:30

Just logging into the new post. I’m 8+1 today. This will (hopefully) be number 2 for us.

Full on nausea hasn’t kicked in yet but I’m starting to get really spotty skin that I had last time.
I was glad First trimester was in the winter so I could cover up as I had horrible cyst like spots all on my neck and shoulders and some on my face.

However as a positive, the hair on my head grew lovely and thick but everywhere from my eyebrows down barely grew at all so that was a win 😃👍

frankiefumbles · 17/09/2018 17:38

Damn. I didn't see this...! I will divert anyone over and try and get rid of the one I just did (I shouldn't have done it having just woken from a serious nap). Sorry @rosettesforjill

@frankiefumbles if you report your thread to MNHQ they will delete it for you.

LittleTipple · 17/09/2018 17:52

Has anyone else got a really short temper since BFP?! My mood swings are dreadful and I've got no patience 🙈 Not helpful when looking after a 3 year old and 1 year old. If this is a sticky bean I'm starting to panic about how I'll survive the next nine months...

UntilTheVeryEnd · 17/09/2018 18:04

👋 Hi all! Thanks for new thread, can’t believe we are on thread 2 all ready!

UntilTheVeryEnd, 27, hopefully DC3, already have DD (4) and DS (20m) - I’m between 7-8 weeks - got an early scan tomorrow with my consultant, so will hopefully get a better idea of dates tomorrow.

inkworks273 · 17/09/2018 18:06

Hi everyone

Thanks for the new thread. I'm 32 and 4+4 with our first.

Yes, @LittleTipple I've definitely noticed the short temper. I especially notice it at work. Every single person irritates me. I mean how dare they ask me to do my job! Grin

Firstbornunicorn · 17/09/2018 18:06

@Dimblebimble if you find a way to fight through the fatigue, do let me know! My work colleagues were having a right laugh at me falling asleep at my desk today (when I eventually got there after aforementioned car broken down/cat pee incident)

Firstbornunicorn · 17/09/2018 18:09

Oh and I'm 7+1, first pregnancy :)

rosettesforjill · 17/09/2018 18:17

@MimiSunshine I've been really spotty today as well - definitely not at the glowing stage yet Wink

@UntilTheVeryEnd ooh exciting news on the scan Smile

dreaminofholidays · 17/09/2018 19:47

hello all

dreaminofholidays, 32, hopefully dc1. I think I'm 5 weeks. I have irregular cycles so hard to tell exactly how far. Hoping to get my 3+ on a CBD tomorrow.
I had a MC back in April so feeling quite nervous.

x

zoClueless · 17/09/2018 19:47

Hello everyone. Just checking in, I've been quiet on here for past week or so but still following along.

I'm 32 and am 7+5 today with our first.
Also suffering a lot of tiredness, in one of the busiest weeks of the year at work - joy! Nausea comes and goes, sometime quite bad but luckily haven't actually had to be sick yet.

The bloating by the evening is so bad that I just got offered a seat on the tube Blush I've just come from a Pilates class so in tight clothing and perhaps looking particularly knackered!

inkworks273 · 17/09/2018 19:57

@zoClueless Did you take the seat?? Lol.

MauisLeftNipple · 17/09/2018 20:31

4th pregnancy. 5+4. I've had two vbacs so happy to answer questions on that topic Smile

No symptoms here. Well, I may have just convinced myself that my boobs are infinitesmally bigger Grin

Right, mist be time for bed?

mayago · 17/09/2018 20:45

I'm 6+1 with our second. DD will be 2 in January.

I work from home most of the time, which is lucky to mask the fatigue! I actually had a nap this afternoon Blush

@LittleTipple yes to the short temper. Moreso with OH rather than with DD though! If I remember from last time, it does get better.

kiltedsheep · 17/09/2018 20:46

Definitely time for bed!

As for me, I'm 32 and 7+6 with what would (God willing) be DC2. I had a MMC at around 9 weeks in May, so I feel for everyone else who's suffered a MC.

(There seems to be a lot more about MCs in the news recently, which is both a really good thing and also somewhat anxiety-provoking.)

Mcdonald234 · 17/09/2018 20:46

Hi all, I'm 5+1. Got by 3+ weeks on CBD tonight so happy with that. Got my booking in appointment and also booked an early scan as my OH is away for work when I have my 12 week scan.

Quite mild symptoms so far, nausea and sore boobs. I am crying all the time but I'm already quite an emotional person and I had a feeling that would be one of my biggest symptoms haha.

DietCoke1 · 17/09/2018 20:50

I’m 25 (26 in a couple of weeks) and 5+2 today with my first... if all goes to plan!

I have started a new role as maternity cover... not sure what my managers will do!

Have been very uncomfortable today- bloated and cramps and the sorest boobs 😭

kiltedsheep · 17/09/2018 20:51

@mayago I was wfh today due to nausea and accidentally had a long nap at lunchtime 😣 Definitely going in tomorrow to avoid any similar cock-ups

@LittleTipple I've definitely got a much shorter fuse than normal. It's my DH's own bloody fault for not being psychic. I mean, how inconsiderate of him.

Popsalot15 · 17/09/2018 20:58

@kiltedsheep that made me laugh lol.

I think my bf thinks I am making it up. I was sick today at work and he replied saying he thought you only got sick at the end of pregnancy lol

Pebblespony · 17/09/2018 21:00

Sorry, I didnt read the whole of the previous thread. What's the significance of the 3+ on the test?
