I would like to join please! 38 years old, first baby, just had my 12 week scan last week where they told me I am only 10 weeks. So my due date is August 8th.

I'm going to stay off the list until the 12 week scan, just in case.

I'm 9 weeks today, it feels like it's gone quite fast. Hoping I can get the date of my scan at my booking bloods appointment on Wednesday like I did last time.

Yay new thread ! Just woke up, but I’m my defensive I got up 3 times in the night to pee! Oh brought me breakfast in bed which was nice too :) 7+5 and my app says the baby’s eyes are forming which sounds exciting.

I got a tiny hand and foot on Ovia the other day :)

BTW has everyone signed up for the MN pregnancy emails? I completely forgot about them but I've put them on now! It's in My Mumsnet near the top of the page.

Just catching up, thanks for the new thread. Lovely to hear about some nice scans, it’s a relief to see something rather than rely on tests I think! I’ll add myself to the stats once I’ve got a proper due date - booking in appt on Monday so hopefully scan towards the end of the month and then I’ll know what’s going on.

Thank you for updating my due date on the thread :) I feel like I've had the best sleep of my life now I am ready to work (oh the joys of being a teacher working weekends!)

Great to hear all the good news about people's scans.

I am still feeling so ill, constant nausea and feel faint every time I stand up. I've been off work since Christmas and can't see me managing to get there this week. Really hope it improves soon, it was not this bad for this long with my DS. Also feel bad that I've hardly been able to spend any time with DS because I've been so ill, I don't want him to feel neglected. 

Still a couple of weeks to go to my scan.

Thanks @bertie have signed up for the updates from MN :) I feel totally fine, but did sleep in till 11am. So hopefully I can get up tomorrow at 5am for work :( I can’t wait to get the hand and foot print on ovia. What week does that start 8 or 9? Xx

Was feeling quite nauseous earlier today but had promised dh and ds we would go on a country walk. I feel so much better after it, fresh air really helped.

My SIL just announced she's pregnant with her second. She was really worried as she knows that we've had problems conceiving. My DH and I were passing very sly looks. It was very hard not to tell her, especially as I'm 12 weeks tomorrow. But we will will until after the scan on Friday when we have a bit more reassurance!

Thread 3 already! I have my booking appointment this week thinking about booking a private scan just want to check all is ok I had weekly scans with dd so it's strange having to wait. If the sickness is anything to go by I shouldn't worry but I can't help it, I've been so ill the last couple of days I've not got out of my pj's today this morning I threw up every time I ate or drankle managed to keep some micro chips down this afternoon so hoping they stay down or I might need a trip to out of hours I feel dizzy and weak with a banging headache.

butterfly86 definitely get some meds if you can! It’s worth it.
I felt ok today we’ve been out all day but exhausted and nauseous now. I’m desperate for my scan date hoping I get a letter this week, but only booked with midwife on thurs so not sure how quickly it’ll come through. Nearly 11 weeks already and I want the scan before I tell work... not going to be able to hide it much longer!

strawberrylemonade I've been keep saying I'll have to see the doctor but keep putting off incase I'm not actually bad enough, what qualifies for Meds? I feel like they might just say you're pregnant suck it up!

I just phoned GP said I was struggling with mainly nausea occasional vomiting and they prescribed over the phone with a warning about hydration etc. Do it! They’re there to help

@milney25 I bet you loved the sly looks haha it’s so good to finally not feel a bit of a downer if someone close announces pregnancy. Me and oh are the same whenever we see his sister. She’s about 29 weeks but knows we are (were) trying. Goodluck at your scan! Have you already had an early scan before (sorry I don’t remember who had one and who hasn’t)
