Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Signing in to the shiny new thread!

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 24/04/2017 13:16

Hello thread #3.
So... I've had my dress fitting!
The bloody thing DOES FIT!
She's going to let it out each side for growing room but we're all good.
M&s salad and fruit for lunch with a ripple and a cup of tea too!

TipTop333 · 24/04/2017 13:18

Battenburg that's great news!!! Must be a relief. I do wonder if maybe the growing uterus and bloat are so uncomfortable that they just feel worse than they actually look...

Lunch for me was jacket potato with beans and some meagre salad, followed by some leftover Easter egg.

Dd has gone down for a nap so I can either tidy the house or have a nap myself. Hard choice...

Excellent news about the dress!!

Marie90 · 24/04/2017 13:19

Thanks for the new thread Tiptop! Can't believe we're on number 3 already!

Yay! So glad your dress fits Battenberg! I bet you felt amazing in it!! How many weeks until your wedding now?

Marie90 · 24/04/2017 13:20

I've been grazing all day... Lots of bread sticks, ginger biscuits, and the odd creme egg or two!

I can't seem to stop!!

TootsyBella84 · 24/04/2017 13:20

Fab idea about the spreadsheet TipTop The thread seems to be moving quickly I think I've missed a few newbies from the list. I will have a nose about how we can do that.

Yay glad your dress fits Battenberg

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 24/04/2017 13:21

Ooh. Also guys, midwife appt: 18th May!

MummyHenman2be · 24/04/2017 13:27

Hello thread #3!

Oysterbabe · 24/04/2017 13:34

Thanks for the new thread! Place marking.

MontyPants · 24/04/2017 13:38

Oooo thread number 3! Thanks TipTop

I'm going to a work leaving party tonight but I have nothing that fits me to wear. I seriously can't stand anything on my stomach at the min so everything needs to be loose and flowing. Plus my boobs are huge! I am seriously dreading what I'm gonna look like. I lost 5 stone before my wedding last year, so I chucked away all my fat clothes, but my skinny clothes are too tight!

Oysterbabe · 24/04/2017 13:47

Perfect, thanks Tootsy! Looking forward to nosing at everyone's stats :)

Queen0ffaff · 24/04/2017 13:49

Thanks for the new thread, TipTop!

Spreadsheet looks good to me (love a nice spreadsheet Wink), I'll fill in when I'm at a laptop.

Today I just feel like I'm a bit hungover. It's just general bletchiness plus lack of sleep, and definitely could be worse. I feel for all of you suffering with the sickness. I just got my little five week dinosaur today though, so it could all still be waiting for me!

I have managed to really freak myself out today by remembering that I ate some pink beef at Easter - so I would have been about three weeks then, not that I knew it. Feeling horribly guilty and anxious. I did just think pink meat was a no because of the food poisoning risk and haven't thought about it since as I wasn't ever ill, but reading about toxoplasmosis has really scared me now!

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 24/04/2017 14:15

@Marie90 30 days today!!

Sereniela · 24/04/2017 14:19

Yay! Booking appointment made for 5th May, so should be 9+2.

Normally i am terrified of answering the phone, but i've been waiting since last Wednesday with my phone constantly nearby...

Now i just need to tidy up to an acceptable standard before then... we have a lot of clutter Blush and i have serious anxiety with people being in my house - even family!

GrowFins · 24/04/2017 14:24

Smile hi!

Anyone else still get a period / crampy feeling? I'm about 6 ish weeks (i think!) and have had this for weeks.

Currently surviving on pickled beetroot and oranges and swinging between being starving to not being able to even look at food.

Still can't believe I'm actually pregnant, has it sunk in with you folks yet? I've got my booking in appointment tomorrow and hopefully that will be fine. I got banned off doing any more tests Grin so just hope all is still ok.

Hope you're all well, how do you all cope with the worry?

fishfingerSarnies · 24/04/2017 14:26

I wouldn't worry queen. Toxoplasmosis is extremely rare.

Feeling exhausted, got to take my daughter to gymnastics soon which is an hours walk. So can't be arsed!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/04/2017 14:29

Filled out the internet booking form last Wednesday afternoon. Still not heard, hope I hear tomorrow, don't want to miss their call because I'm teaching!
So so tired today.

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 24/04/2017 14:31

@GrowFins yup I had those...
They went at about 6w+5ish all down one side I had them, was really weird!

TootsyBella84 · 24/04/2017 14:36

Does anyone else have snow? It's started crazy snowing up here. What's going on?! It's nearly May 😂
I'm a little glad the weather is awful because it's even more reason to hide in the house. I've been living off rich tea biscuits today. Wish the sickness would pi$$ off already!

Zaberwocky · 24/04/2017 14:39

I think we talk more than any antenatal group I've seen on here 😂 And we're all only 4-8 weeks in!

Zaberwocky · 24/04/2017 14:41

I haven cyclezine(sp?) now. I have to try it till Wednesday and if there's no improvement make an appointment.

So far no puke in three hours. But I have double vision and feel dizzy! I'm trying to decide what I prefer!

Zaberwocky · 24/04/2017 14:45

Monty tbh I'd pop into Tesco/Sainsbury's on the way home and get a nice stretchy maxi skirt.

Consider it an investment Grin

Tootsy where the bloody hell are you to have snow!? Although we do have sleet.

Queen please don't worry or beat yourself up about it. Remember that it's 1. Really uncommon, and 2. There are so many people that've eaten all sorts of stuff they shouldn't not knowing they were pregnant and had perfectly healthy babies.
