Ohh I got a Babymel one Hugh so now I'm too scared to check their website in case that's the one that's reduced Grin. Funny dream - it must be so exciting waiting to find out what sex the baby will be...

Your sleep sounded wonderful Butter..hopefully you'll have more nights like that before the baby arrives! I also haven't started on my hospital bag but I'm not due until 28th March so have time (I hope!) Thanks for the tip on the small bag - will definitely do that.

I hope you'll manage to sleep better tonight MotherofA - the insomnia sucks.

MotherofA · 18/01/2017 23:49

Yes hearing Hugh speak of not knowing the sex makes me partly wish I hadn't . I just wanted to be more organised this time round I guess . Maybe have a surprise next time haha .

Thank you ghengis ! Hoping everyone sleeps well tonight . My wriggler is moving lots .

I've been exhausted this week as well, been helping my brother move all his stuff to his new flat Grin means we can get started on the boys room next week then baby's room! So excited Grin

MotherofA · 19/01/2017 19:34

Yes I am too although I think it's carrying this weight, I keep nearly toppling over . Haha. I too have work to do and was meant to be working today but got side fracked running errands .
Should be giving the house a deep clean ready for in laws on Sunday and can't be bothered but she's the type that would ask where my feather duster is and start doing it herself FFS .

Hahahaha Hugh Grinoh the joys !

Ah carol lovely about nursery . We don't have enough rooms in this house so baby will be in with us until we move although I'm not in a rush to be fair .

MotherofA · 19/01/2017 21:32

I was reading about nappies today . I wish I could bring myself to use reusable ones . I feel a little bad about the landfill situ ....

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 19/01/2017 22:49

Mother I have the same thoughts but I have a terrible feeling that I would last a few weeks and then just move to disposable ones.

Ha ha, Hugh, now you have to stop remembering what set you off or you'll start again!! Oh, and phew, that wasn't the bag I got so I don't get to feel hard done by :) That brown ally one is lovely.

Lovely that you're about to start the nursery Carol...it'll be so nice to be all prepared. Have you decided what you are going to do?

Sympathy about the exhaustion everyone, I'm no longer working and I'm exhausted so I can only imagine the feeling with a job/other children!

Yesterday I finally bought a hypnobirthing book, cds and a first time parents book. My plan is really to just wing it but I thought it might be an idea to have some reference when google is throwing me all sorts of conflicting advice at 2am!

Carolann8584 · 19/01/2017 23:02

Really excited to do both rooms, the boys have picked spiderman wallpaper so that will be a fun room to do. For our little lady's room, I found some gorgeous fairytale wallpaper complete with unicorns, fairytale castles and sparkles Grin thought I would need to find a "design your own wallpaper.com" site to find the paper I wanted but found it in our local B&M Smile

MotherofA · 19/01/2017 23:09

Ghengis I feel the same way . There will be so much going on without washing nappies .... carol ahhhh that's lovely and so much better when you get a bargain too !
My calendar is jam packed right up until the birth . I guess it's a good thing in a way as time is flying by ?!

I had some cloth nappies with Dd. Used them on and off up to 6 months.....but since weaning poo arrived on the scene it's been all disposables ewww

MotherofA · 20/01/2017 23:26

Hahaha was talking about weaning poo and how it stinks the other day . Used to make me gag but I am funny about smells !

Carolann8584 · 21/01/2017 10:43

Had the best nights sleep last night, struggled all week, went yoga yesterday which seemed to be the key to a proper nights sleep, apart from getting up for the loo I slept straight through so nice Grin

MotherofA · 21/01/2017 14:26

Argh I'm jealous ! I woke up with a nose bleed and woke up with bad dreams again Confused x

I'm in that stage too ! Normally when I know the in laws are coming I have a massive clean / panic . That has not happened this week at all . Can't be bothered to do anything much !
Haha ewwww don't it's like changing an adult poop GrinGrinShock

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 22/01/2017 06:50

The wallpapers sound lovely Carol, and great that your DD's was easy to find!

I'm also at the meh stage...it doesn't help that DH is away for work so I have even less of an incentive to tidy/clean and can easily convince myself that I'll do it all tomorrow.

Is anyone else experiencing a desperate need to pee, and then barely being able to go? I feel so let down by my toilet trips Grin

This talk of weaning poo is not filling me with joy!

I hope everyone had a good night's sleep and are feeling more rested.

Carolann8584 · 22/01/2017 09:29

I'm the same genghis not sure if I should see my MW about it could be a symptom of a uti or preclamsia. Well that's according to my app. Although my yoga teacher said it could also be my pelvic floor is in spasm so need to do more kegels to help my relax more and have more control

Carolann8584 · 22/01/2017 09:31

This is what she said about it....

The pelvic floor is the basin holding your uterus and has 3 sphincters (urethra, vagina and anus). It's important to tone the pelvic floor as it carries more weight as baby grows but equally it is key to learn how to let it relax, as this will help your baby’s passage! Anxiety can make your pelvic floor tense and even go into spasm (the feeling of needing a pee, even when you don’t AND/OR a poor flow of urine when you pee).

I am lacking motivation ! So much work to do tomorrow and I can't be bothered already ! Plus putting off cleaning which I normally happily do . Can't bloody keep on like this for over 6 more weeks the house would be vile haha 😂. Hoping the nesting thing kicks in at some point !
I have been needing to pee more again . Also woke with a head ache this morning and have one now. Don't know what that's about haha .

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 23/01/2017 05:31

That's interesting Carol...I take from that, that I need to relax more so I guess the cleaning can wait until next week :) Seriously though, thanks, and I will mention it at my appointment next week.

It could well be the pressure Hugh. And yes, I must do my kegels too - I always forget.

I hope your headache has gone Mother

MotherofA · 23/01/2017 10:32

Much better today . Hope everyone is well Smile
