That sounds like waters breaking to me. Should be able to smell if it's wee. But yes definitely give midwife unit a ring!

Nothing for me. Me and DH just Did but giggled the whole way through. Don't think we will be able to attempt that again!

Hello everyone!

After a very quick start my daughter was born 12:30am this morning. We're both doing okay. Was my first birth so the end was not what I expected: the burning sensation!

I hope garethea and troodiedoo have imminent arrivals soon x

I've to go in on Saturday to start induction Garethea April fools day is not a good birthday is it! I'm just grumpy about everything now lol.

Aw Troodie. I totally feel for you. I'm completely miserable. You might just have a little trickster on your hands! Maybe if they are born on the 1st they will always be surrounded by laughter.

I've still got over a week before induction. 10th at the earliest my mw said.

I've just been to a Chinese medicine place she drew on my bump with a brown felt tip if that doesn't help things along she's going to stick pins in me tomorrow morning. Gave me a laugh if nothing else!

The brown pen made me laugh 'Garethea'. I had my midwife appointment today and ended up on a trace at the hospital because the baby's HR was too high. All fine now. Induction booked for the 10th if all else fails.

Getting induced tomorrow so the end is nigh, just got to hang in there bit longer.

Annilack glad you and baby are OK. Take it easy. my hr has been high since about 30 weeks but babys is fine.

I'm not good with needles so I don't think it would work with me!

Best of luck for tomorrow. You'll have a lovely spring baby in no time. Wish I was joining you tomorrow. Think I lost my plug last night but nothing since.

In for the long haul.

I just assumed it was relaxing but read quite a lot of things saying it hurts lol. So I went shopping and treated myself to some Molton brown goodies and a mocktail.

Thanks, no sign of my plug so you may still beat me!
