In other news due to DDs condition DH and I have decided to opt for a cvs this time round just to check everything is ok. It was a hard decision as I know there is a small risk of miscarriage, and then there's the decision of what would we do if something was wrong?! But we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Hopefully not have to cross that bridge at all haha!

On the bright side at least we would be able to find out the sex very very early :D

I'm 6 weeks today and feel fine apart from sore boobs and tiredness. Sometimes wonder if I've imagined it all?! Weighing up the pros and cons of an early scan - any thoughts please ladies?

hanflan have you read the Emily Oster book? I'm sure she debunks some of the statistics for micarriage following CVS/amnio. Can you consider a NIPT first or is that not available/suitable? I will be having the Harmony hopefully at 11 weeks, last time we knew the sex at 14 weeks!
