First trimester worries and joys. Test taking, morning sickness, midwife appointments and scans. It's all happening.

Can't believe we filled up a thread already. (I'll get this deleted if someone's already created a second thread, but I didn't see one!

Someone asked about weight gain on the previous thread (sorry, can't remember): it's not at all unusual to lose weight in the first trimester so don't worry about it. Combination of feeling ill and so much going on that you use up reserves.

Re bras: I've just stopped feeding my 13-month-old baby so I've no idea what my breasts are going to do this pregnancy! IIRC from my previous pregnancies I didn't have to change bra sizes very often through the whole pregnancy (I think just once) but I don't have much to begin with anyway.

I was just thinking of starting another thread, good work Grouchy.

Stats list, will try and update it tonight if I can kick DH off the pc.

Went for a really long walk this afternoon and found a cafe that sold chocolate and banana crepes, yum! Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

notsoold · 27/09/2015 19:28

My stats please....
Notsoold age 44 (gulp), dc#4 edd 27/05/16 Manchester

MollieRos · 27/09/2015 19:49

Good work Grouchy Smile thank you!

Bras: I'm interested in this too- my boobs are getting more and more sore and full-feeling, but I can't believe I'd need a new bra this early on! I'm only 5w today. I'm slim and pretty flat-chested, so it would be a bonus if I get some proper boobs while I'm pregnant!

We've had a lovely weekend too (no chocolate and banana crepes though, they sound amazing!)- a long walk in the gorgeous sunshine with DH earlier and generally mooching around. Hope everyone's feeling ok and have had good weekends Smile

Mamama31 · 27/09/2015 19:51

Thanks for the new thread Grouchy :)

I was so looking forward to my chicken dinner tonight but then when I sat down to eat it, I could hardly get through it. Guess it won't do me any harm to slow down on the carbs! I wouldn't mind a few lbs lost before I hit 2nd tri and put loads on!!!

ParsnipSoup · 27/09/2015 19:53

I've had really sore boobs too and I'm only 4+6. I popped to the shops today and got a couple of soft sports bras to wear around the house. It's such a relief!!!

Hot chocolate and crepes sounds like a perfect weekend. My DP was working all weekend so it's only tonight that we've had a proper chance to sit down and talk about how exciting this is.

My stats for the list are 28yrs old, 1st pregnancy, due date 30/05 and I live in Kent.

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 27/09/2015 19:56

Ah second thread already Grin if only it was second trimester hey Envy

Mamama31 · 27/09/2015 20:00

Icant I couldn't agree more! Roll on 2nd trimester!!!

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 27/09/2015 20:07

Ahh I want to hibernate the weeks and sickness away now mamama

GrouchyKiwi · 27/09/2015 20:08

How is everyone coping with the hormones? I'm now crying at everything. I guess part of it is stopping breastfeeding two days ago, but I am a proper watering can.

Even cried watching the rugby. Blush

I am confused about the stats list, are there 2? I am 37 baby #2 due on 3.5.2016 pregnancy #3 after mmc in May and I am in Germany.

Things fine at our camp. Exhausting but not been too sick just yet.

Mamama31 · 27/09/2015 20:14

Icant I am going to hibernate this week as taking the week off work. Stayed off on Friday due to the spotting/panic!! And work are so nice they have said don't rush back so going to rest up this week and take it real easy.

Grouchy I've been ok with hormones apart from the spotting went off the wall then! But feeling less aggitated as before everything DH was doing was irritating me, that has settled thankfully and I love the bones of him again! :)

ljjeffro · 27/09/2015 20:19

I got weighed today by my herbalife coach (my final weigh in with her) and I've lost 3lb which is the most I've lost since I've been doing herbalife and I haven't even done it this week! I think mines due to the fact that I've not had much of an appetite which I don't really understand because I've had no sickness.
I spent all day yesterday helping out at a kids squash tournament makings toasties and cooking chips. I was so tired after and had back ache from standing up all day. Had a nice relaxing afternoon round my mums for dinner today and now I'm getting everything ready for dreaded work tomorrow! Hope everyone else had a good weekend and is ready to face another week of work.

Southy84 · 27/09/2015 20:21

Thanks for the new thread grouchy ive totally become a crier too! I'm literally crying over everything!!!!! Can't control it at all! As for boobs mine are massive and going to need new bras fairly soon i think...

ljjeffro · 27/09/2015 20:21

Mama what I would do for a week off work. I work with 2 year olds and as you can imagine it's very tiring at the moment! Enjoy it.

ljjeffro · 27/09/2015 20:26

Bish my stats are- age: 33 baby #1 mmc in February from bexley. Thank you.

ljjeffro · 27/09/2015 20:27

Sorry I forgot- due on 27th may

Mamama31 · 27/09/2015 20:33

Ljjeffro thank you I plan to relax and take full advantage of a week off. Wow that would be tough working wit 2 year old, lots of energy needed for that! Great practice though ;)

Grapefruit8 · 27/09/2015 21:16

My stats- Age 25, first baby, due 12-05-15, live north west. Thank you!

blackgoat · 27/09/2015 21:28

My stats: Age 28, 2nd baby, due 13.05.16, Scotland.

ODog · 27/09/2015 21:29

None of my bras fit I had been all sorts of bra sizes in the last 2yrs through pg/BF/stopping BF. They are currently about 34a but I don't think any of my bras are that size. They are all old and baggy. Going to treat myself to some nice nursing bras and lots of lovely normal ones after I finish BFing this one. Although I hope to BF for as long as poss so maybe a way off.

GrouchyKiwi · 27/09/2015 21:35

ODog I was 34C before DD2 was born (32D before DD1 Sad) and I'm pretty sure I've gone down to at least a B now. I have nothing that fits.

Brenna24 · 27/09/2015 21:52

My stats are
Age 37
Due date 7th May 2015
Baby #1
Married for 4 months

Your boobs can go up quite quickly. I had to rush out 2.5 weeks ago before we went to Italy and buy some cheap new bras as mine were suddenly painfully tight. I had had sore breasts since the beginning. They are still quite tender.

MollieRos · 27/09/2015 21:57

Oh just spotted about the stats. Mine: Age 33, 1st baby, due 29th May, live in Lancashire.

mama it's lovely to hear you sounding so much more happy than last week Smile

Bishboshbash · 27/09/2015 21:58

There is only one list now Bejeena, sorry I didn't manage to add people tonight as DH is doing work on the pc, will try do it tomorrow!
My boobs are really sore and my toddler keeps jumping on me and elbowing me which is seriously painful! I went up from a 34B to a 36DD last preg wonder what I will end up this time!?
