Found it!

5 weeks today, the nerves and anxiety have kicked in today. Got just over a week until my early scan to check baby is in the right place.

The road ahead seems a bit scary at the minute. X

Gingerbreadlady1 · 21/10/2014 16:58

Yay! Hiya tranquility, did you call epu? Is that who organised your scan next week? I can understand your nerves but I'm sure it'll be okay.

Woo hoo! I found it! 7 weeks today! Xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 21/10/2014 20:56

Hi hexy, I think stubborn is 6 weeks today? I'm 9+3, the nausea kicked on around week 6 or 7 I think & can't wait for placenta to take over as hopefully it should ease. I def have a bump now. Can hide it at work but not sure for how much longer!

Hello ladies!!

I am so pleased to see this thread. Hopefully more old birds will be joining us...

How old is everyone again? I have forgotten ages and details...and i don't recognised all the names. I'm 35- amazingly got diffed the month after I turned 35 following a laparoscopy to remove mild endometriosis, after ttc for 2 yrs 7 months and 1 mc.

Hope i can join you even though I 'graduated' a few months ago now...am actually 29+3! Time started to go quicker after I reached 20 weeks. The first 20 weeks seemed to drag. Had my first nct class last night- was quite good actually! And DH found it useful so we are both feeling v exited now. Especially as baby Fanklet is moving around lots and giving me lots of kicks and punches now!Grin

HexyQueen · 22/10/2014 09:48

Wow fankle! How on earth did u get so far along so fast!!!!! I was a long time lurker on the original old birds thread, till I got upduffed & showed my face. I'm 42 years old, have a 4 year old, had a m/c at 6 weeks 2.5 years ago & had been ttc this time for 5 months.

Glad to hear u & baby fanklet are doing so well (and that time does speed up after 20 weeks. Sure it didn't go this slow last time... Xxx

Fankletastic · 24/10/2014 09:10

Thanks Hexy and congrats to you! Amazing to get lucky after such a long time ttc. Let's hope the rest of our pregnancies go smoothly. Although I'm moving about v slowly at the moment, a bit like a robot....think I must have pulled a muscle. In my arse! Confused

Gingerbreadlady1 · 24/10/2014 11:38

Hi fankle, so glad you found us. Can't believe you're 29 weeks, so pleased to hear fanklet is an active wee dude. I'm 9+6 but officially 10+6 by lmp and weigh in at 38.very much hoping we get more graduates soon!

Sorry ginger just seen your reply. Yes EPU are doing my internal scan next week at 6+2. It's standard after an ectopic. Shitting a brick about it now, it's nothing like last time symptom wise but still have a million other worries floating around. Just so hope we see a heartbeat too, or it'll be another wait then back again.

Stays from me. 36, have two lovely kiddies already, ectopic in April, chemical in September, now 5+3.

Wow fankle, how did 29 weeks happen, nearly there now. Do you know what you're having?

BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 12:14

Hello Cluckers, well not sure if any of you remember me from a couple of months ago? I was in the do we/don't we camp. We did try for awhile and nothing happened.

Since then I felt I was happy with not having any more children and I was done and have been focussing on the next stage of our lives.

Well, DH and I were talking last night and I mentioned that I thought my anxiety had returned as been feeling sick a lot lately and worrying about stuff. My boobs also sore but that's not unusual before AF pitches up. Well it's been six weeks since AF and I'm pretty clockwork. Today feel very sick. Haven't POAS'd yet. Tbh I am SHITTING MYSELF!

Tranquilitybaby · 25/10/2014 13:00

Ooh you really have to test! If it's meant to be it's meant to be xx

BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 13:24

I know Tranq. Am petrified!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/10/2014 17:06

Hi bingo! Oh you need to test, you must be driving yourself crazy not knowing for sure!

Hi Ginge, have sent DH off to buy one with the parting words of "it's probably a bug" and he smiled and said "yeah course it is". Git! Will report back later. Just wish I could stop feeling sick cos if it is pregnancy I've got bloody weeks of this ahead. Ungrateful I know but I've really struggled previously with ms.

Tranquilitybaby · 25/10/2014 18:34

Deep breaths, a bit of rescue remedy if you have some and go for it. We're waiting for you x

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/10/2014 19:06

Good, good, good luck bingo, keeping everything crossed for you!

What days your scan tranquility? How's the symptoms!

OP posts:
BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 19:09

Bloody hell. I'm pregnant. 3 weeks plus according to Clear Blue. According to online calculator I'm due 21 June so five weeks.

Better get some folic acid down me. Something else to worry about as obvs not taken any vits now for months as decided to not carry on with the TTC.

DH is so happy. I'm just a wobbly mess.

Tranquilitybaby · 25/10/2014 19:18

I had a feeling you were Bingo congrats, I'm sure you're feeling a little shellshocked, but it's great news. Folic acid and vitamin d for you xx

My scan is next Thursday ginger, scared. Feel nauseous pretty much all the time and yawning by 5pm when normally I'm a night owl, how are you?

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/10/2014 19:48

Ahhhhhhh! Congratulations! Quite a lot for you to get your head round bingo, wow. How many children do you have?

I'm sure everything is fine this time tranquility, I have a good feeling. My energy levels are great but nauseous, not sleeping great and bleeding gums. Oh and bloated. But overall can't complain, get it better than many. My 12 week is a week on mon.

Fankletastic · 25/10/2014 20:13

More good news! Congrats Bingo.

Tranq no we decided not to find out the sex. I don't want to know, I like being curious but still not knowing.

Ginger so you're 11weeks now? Nearly there...it's a relief to reach 12 weeks. Then another relief to reach 16, then 20 and so on.

HexyQueen · 25/10/2014 20:43

Welcome & congrats bingo. My early scan is Thursday too tranquility, kinda shitting myself until then! (By my dates I'll be 8+2, by lmp I'll be 7+6; I have short 23 day cycles, ov on day 10 or 11). Although the fact I can't keep any food down is a good thing.... Anyone got any tips on how to deal with morning sickness? Even cyclizine from docs isn't working, can barely keep water down and am underweight as it is.

BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 21:45

Thank you everyone for the welcomes and congratulations. I'm in shock and in my mind I am finding it hard to see it as planned as in my mind we'd, well I, had decided to forget about number 3 and it's kinda snuck up on us. Thinking about it the last couple of days food has started to taste funny too. Weird how the signs are there but I was oblivious. DH said he knew.

Have found some conception vitamins so I've taken one of those!

Hexy, MS, I know a couple of girls who had it bad and I'm sure that one piece of advice was not to drink after eating as the liquid is then likely to encourage the reappearance of the meal. Little and often I think also. I've been feeling pig sick again. My ms usually lasts well into 20weeks. Horrid.

Bags74 · 25/10/2014 22:14

Just found this thread, think I probably qualify at very nearly 40?Still coming to terms with being 27 weeks with number 4. Thought I was well past the baby days.

Tranquilitybaby · 25/10/2014 22:20

It all feels very surreal at the minute ginger I must admit. I should feel over the moon, but my anxiety is back and I just feel like I can relax at the moment.

Glad you're doing well though, not long until your scan either.

Ah Hexy we'll both be in tenterhooks Thirsday then. I've fit to work out yet how we're going to get there with the children finding out where we're going. DD and I are very close and she knows when something's up.

Bingo sounds like we're feeling similar, it's a shock. Even though you desperately want it, it's scary nonetheless.

Welcome bags x
