It's going to be a lonnnnngg 9 months then Bingo Grin

Are you showing already then?

BingoBonkers · 06/11/2014 17:06

Tell me about it. I am showing and by the evening I am huge. I can sort of disguise it but even some of my loose clothing is starting to look a bit suspect. The rumour mill will be going crazy soon I reckon.

Overtiredbackagain · 06/11/2014 17:10

Bless, that's lovely. Is this your first DC?

I already had a belly so hoping I can hide mine for a while yet but am only 5 weeks and don't feel up-duff at all! Although my boobs are mahoosive!

How are you feeling?

BingoBonkers · 06/11/2014 21:35

Third. Hence the enormo-tum. I was hoping It would spring back a la Posh Spice. In my dreams!

Had a ten min impromptu snooze this afternoon. I am so tired and despite an hour of not feeling pukey it's back with a vengeance.

Is this your first? How are you feeling?

Overtiredbackagain · 07/11/2014 06:43

No this is also my third but first with DP, had two with my exH.

I've never had a "Posh" figure and showed relatively early on with DC2, so guessing I will be trying to hide soon too.

I have been exhausted this last week so sleeping really well, no morning sickness but didn't with other two either.

Tranquilitybaby · 07/11/2014 08:03

Hello girls, just checking in.

I've got a lovely post 2 sections bum bag belly so not showing yet, just the normal sticking out look I have! Feel nauseous pretty much all day.

Overtiredbackagain · 07/11/2014 08:25

Glad all going well Tranquility, so you're about 7 weeks now?

ProbablyMe · 07/11/2014 08:47

God this tiredness is ridiculous! Thankfully DP will be home this afternoon. Not feeling sick per se but I'm constantly starving hungry including overnight!

I had a nasty nightmare last night about going for a scan and there being nothing there, I was shaking for ages afterwards. I'm going to do another test just to reassure me!

I'm expecting to start showing fairly early. It's number 5 for me and my tummy has never recovered since I had DS4 11 years ago!

Hope everyone has a good day today Smile

Overtiredbackagain · 07/11/2014 09:05

Bless you Probably, hope you're ok. I used to get really vivid dreams when pregnant. When is your scan due?

I'm really suffering with the tiredness too, I'm yawning right through the day and we were out last night for DP birthday with his family and I needed to make excuses by 7.30!! Luckily had DC with me so I needed up get them to bed - school night!

BingoBonkers · 07/11/2014 16:07

Over I think my post was misleading. I certainly am not "Posh" like. After having my first DC my tum was left resembling a car crash. Relatively quick second pregnancy and my stomach was royally screwed. Probably due to the four stone of fizzy strawberry laces and family pack of onion ring crisps not very nutritious food.

I'm so tired. Keep waking up very early and not being able to sleep again. I'm struggling looking after the DC as they are so energetic and are all over the place bouncing from one sofa to the other. Roll on bedtime which I will be starting at 6 tonight so I can sit quietly and deal with this nausea without being jumped on.

Overtiredbackagain · 07/11/2014 16:42

Oh Bingo, you poor thing. How old are DC? I'm lucky at least mine at 9 and 5 so very independent. I have a date with DS with scrabble tonight, so no bouncing involved Wink

I am very determined not to eat outrageously this time round. First time I gained about 4 stone with DS, DD about half that, so will try desperately to be good this time.

This is first DC for DP, who is only 25 himself (a very mature 25 at that (the majority of the time!)) Wink He is already nagging me about my caffeine intake!

BingoBonkers · 08/11/2014 13:35

Over they are 4 and 2.

Overtiredbackagain · 08/11/2014 16:07

Bless lovely but exhausting age Bingo x

BingoBonkers · 08/11/2014 16:55

I agree. Equally amazing, wonderful, frustrating, energetic and relentless!

Overtiredbackagain · 08/11/2014 22:19

Hope everyone is feeling ok x

Snooky17 · 09/11/2014 18:45

Hi, please can I join, I'm 40 am 13 weeks tomorrow with dc4, 2nd with new OH. DD 19 DS 13 and DD 5. Had a mc and a mmc in last year so has been a stressful old year.
Had my 12 week scan on fri all looked good 1.6 nt result but now lapping myself waiting for the results, can't wait to chat with similar aged people.

Overtiredbackagain · 10/11/2014 08:34

Hey Snooky and welcome! How are you feeling? X

BingoBonkers · 10/11/2014 09:05

Welcome Snooky. May or June baby? This pregnancy lark is hardwork and stressful isn't it?

Snooky17 · 10/11/2014 09:19

I'm due 18th may, today and I'm whispering just incase I jinx it I feel relatively human, I have energy, granted it's only just gone 9 lol, of course this the inturn makes me worry so will be popping home to have listen to the heartbeat later.
How is everyone today ?

Overtiredbackagain · 10/11/2014 10:21

Have you suffered from morning sickness Snooky? I feel terrible today, had to sit on the train commuting in to the City this morning with plenty of deep breathing in an attempt to stave off the urge to vomit Sad I'm sure I looked quite weird!!

BingoBonkers · 10/11/2014 10:43

Nausea City here too. I'm so tired it's untrue. Can I sleep? No. Keep waking up and then not able to go back to sleep. Doesn't help that my brain goes into overdrive about unnecessary stuff.

Overtiredbackagain · 10/11/2014 11:19

I'm exhausted too, but thankfully I am sleeping well at night at the moment, just ready for bed at ridiculous-o-clock. I'm thankful too my DC are 9 and 5, so independent, not sure I would be coping quite so well if I had toddlers to run around after.

I am still trying to get my head around the whole pregnancy to be honest. My DP is younger than me and no children, and we have discussed having a baby, and although after divorcing from DC dad assumed my baby days were over, I was excited at the prospect of having a third, just not quite so soon, as I would have liked to be slightly more financial stable, but then I guess there is never a good time in terms of finances. it just means I won't be able to stay home as long as I would like Sad

Snooky17 · 10/11/2014 11:49

Bingo I know how you feel about brain not switching off I'm in bed at 8 but wake at 4 and can't get back to sleep,
Overtired, I shouldn't complain about feeling sick really nausea didn't kick in till 9 weeks and has only been mild and is easing off now well today at least, makes me feel like this is a boy def felt less nauseous with my dd then my girls. When I was expecting my youngest new oh thought my baby days were over too, falling pregnant was a shock and was worried about money too, my oh was worried about pnd as his ex had it and he had to work full time and look after baby as she wasn't interested and really struggled bless her so one of the reasons for having another one was to enjoy it and not worry, 2 MCs later and being 40 means it hasn't exactly been worry free lol.

Overtiredbackagain · 10/11/2014 12:16

Well fingers crossed Snooky! I'm glad you have turned a corner and starting to feel better. I didn't really have morning sickness with either of my two, so this is really all new to me, although I worked evenings so I managed to rest plenty during the day, but then I struggled with the late nights, so at least I will get more sleep during the night I guess.

I'm terrified of my age being an issue and the tests etc. I was 34 when I had DD so had none of the concerns and yet only a few years on. OH is only twenty-something Grin and although, yes, lucky me, he is very naïve about (a) how pregnancy makes you feel, even at this early stage (6 weeks) and (b) how my age is a risky factor, although we have already discussed the risk of DS and whether we would proceed etc. Its a tough decision but one that needs to be made I guess.

I know my DC will be really happy and excited to have another brother or sister, but I am dreading telling their dad, even after separating two years ago, he is still, who can I phrase it, bitter?? Same with my parents, really not sure how they will take the news.

Snooky17 · 10/11/2014 12:33

People can be so judgemental sometimes the ones who should be the most supportive. Luckily my ex was the first to phone and offer congratulations, it seems he and his oh have been trying for a while as well which helps I guess, my oldest who is 20 in a few weeks isn't happy, but as long as you and your oh are that's all that matters, people will come around (here's hoping).
