Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

littleluna89 · 16/09/2014 17:17

Booking in all done and dusted. Am under consultant lead care as expected. She's also referred me for an Anaesthetic Review(?) because of complications that can potentially be caused by my Hyper-mobility Syndrome. Now I've just got to stalk my postman wait for my scan letter and once I've had the scan if its all A-OK I can start telling the world and not snapping at everyone who tries to talk to me about the pregnancy Though it was only after the appointment that I realised where I'd left the depression questions blank to discuss with her she's completely missed them (I guess because I'd already filled out everything else in the booklet that I possibly could) Luckily I don't think it will cause any issues and it wasn't something they were interested in last time and nothing has changed since then... Also made the mistake of mentioning that I seemed to be allergic to my parents cat whilst pregnant last time but have had no issues since. She's put me down as having a cat allergy, not sure if that make any real difference?

Have just fed my chickens some cat food and I can't get the smell of my hands :( have barfed twice. Will have to leave that up to hubby in the future, but I was so desperate to calm them down without letting them out as we've still no dealt with their love of flying into places they shouldn't be :/

JuniDD · 16/09/2014 18:24

Hello new thread! You're all so chatty! I can't remember everything from before so I'll just wave hello.

Oh furry, I had a chuckle about mat leave being ordering stuff from the internet & waiting for it to be delivered. Sounds about right... Blush

Had a really nice day out with a friend and her kids. She had two great births so it was really nice to chat to her and get her advice. Feeling good today!

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 18:43

I know I'm bad juni but I've put stuff off for so long I've now cracked on ordering Xmas shopping, baby stuff & building stuff to do up house. Poor postman comes here first now to get rid of heavy parcels Blush only PVC cladding being delivered tomorrow he can have a day off!

OP posts:
JuniDD · 16/09/2014 18:46

Oh, I'm just as bad, don't worry! I'm now into the realm of buying the "nice to have" stuff. Am justifying it as there's no nursery furniture to buy so I'm saving in a way, eh? Wink

We've got the pram in the corner of the living room as there's nowhere else to put it. Very odd! 35 weeks today. Shock

wilmabedrock · 16/09/2014 19:14

Final stretch for you Juni!

couldbeanyone · 16/09/2014 19:43

Hi viroids. Been lurking recently as had second scan today after the spotting I had the other week and the appointment was playing on my mind so didn't feel up to posting. Good news, scan correct for dates give or take a day and the blueberry has a heartbeat GrinGrin

Pregnancy brain means that although I've just read through the last few msgs on old thread I've already forgotten what was being talked about...!

Leela5 · 16/09/2014 19:47

Name: La
Age: 34
DC: no 1 cooking, currently lentil-sized
EDD: 13th May I'm 6 weeks tomorrow

Hooray for shiny new Fred, I thought I'd lost you all!

JuniDD · 16/09/2014 20:12

Glad all ok could.

Am full of my hypnotherapy CD so all like "yeah! Final stretch, bring on the labour"...til tomorrow and reality kicks in again! ha!

Leela5 · 16/09/2014 20:27

could so glad scan went well x

What's the chat ladies? How you feeling juni?

RPopz · 16/09/2014 20:36

Welcome back could, great news Smile

Sounds like a good day Juni! Hopefully you can hold onto the positivity another couple of days Wink Can't believe how close you are!!

couldbeanyone · 16/09/2014 21:00

Thanks all.

Juni must be great to be in the final stretch!

Current insignificant concern is how I hide this at work (immediate boss knows due to scan appointments but that's it)...cannot do up my trousers and have bump bands, but only have one work top is long enough to cover it! Really far too soon for maternity clothes. Some creative dressing is required...any ideas ladies?

KatoPotato · 16/09/2014 21:15

What's the grads version of a hooyah?

Today I am a MESS. I've been flip-flopping between furious and sobbing all day.

Had DS's settling in interview at school which went well so made me cry. But DH was late getting ready to leave for it and I could have punched him out.

Dmil has now taken DS for the afternoon and I'm home with a furry blanket, hollyoaks and a packet of crisps.

JuniDD · 16/09/2014 21:25

We do hooyahs kato but I think you need a hug and some hair strokes? Sounds like some early pg RAGE. Hope you can get a good night's rest.

could, I hid everything with long scarves for quite a while. Can't really help you with the waistband thing as I am a long top person but the scarves are great.

I am getting excited about meeting mini-Juni. Still rather nervous and can't believe it's happening so just hoping things go smoothly from now and if there are problems they aren't the sort that involve blue-lights... Am feeling ok, this is a busy week so am likely to crash and burn at some point. Early nights are a must!

wilmabedrock · 16/09/2014 21:28

Aw bless you kato. You can't hooya a pregnant woman. You deserve biscuits, tea and a lie in. Thank god for Granny!

I think dresses and tunics probably best for hiding bump pre-maternity wear. Or buy some longer, non-fitted tops/shirts.

RPopz · 16/09/2014 21:45

Ooh I love a good hair stroke Smile

Mini hooyah Kato hope you're feeling a bit better now xx Brew
