Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

I've had a couple of Indian takeaways recently Calli and I've been ok. Hopefully just a dodgy one off - try another place next time Wink

Minion · 06/10/2014 12:34

I forgot to mention the 5 pack of muslin squares, theyre lurking at the bottom of the bag somewhere... good call pis!
Im not doing my bag yet, too much likie tempting fate in my book. (Tho knowing this wriggler, itll probably wriggle out whilst im doing a bit of late night shopping or something).

lauren, I don't need cotton wool etc as hospital says they provide all that, as well as bottles etc if I find I cant BF at the start. so thats a weight off...(mind, and my back). Though I reckon ill pop some in should the owrse happen.

cally, ahh indian food. I love it, it doesnt like me at the moment... heartburn central, but then again so is OJ, fruit, chocolate and everything else which tastes good (apart from chips. And cheese)
Ive not had a lovely relationship with scran during this PG. Right from the get go, Ive been full, just looking at food.

I miss food!

Pisghetti · 06/10/2014 12:43

I ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese - they forgot the beans. Sob sob! Didn't realise until I was back at my desk. Also forgot to bring cutlery so I ate it with a spoon. Classy look!

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 12:54

Bag packing and baby hiccups and possible movements, how exciting! :) :). It's lovely.

I'm still waiting to feel anything, but I know it's cos of the placenta being in front so I don't mind cos I know why. We went to watch rugby yesterday and I've definitely got a bump now at 18 and a bit weeks :)

callipygian00 · 06/10/2014 13:12

It was the other end Lauren Blush - not really had morning sickness yet but feeling a bit queasy now, maybe this is the start... It was a place we eat at far too often fairly regularly and DH and DM both fine so prob just my tummy being a bit sensitive just now. Will not rule it out for later, that would be worse than no stilton!

Pis bad news about the beans, how dare they!! Got love some lunchtime spooning though!

Pisghetti · 06/10/2014 13:19

I must admit if left to my own devices I'd eat most meals with a spoon. Never in public, never in company but nine times out of ten at home Blush

Minion · 06/10/2014 14:02

I know its probably scientifically proven and what not, but I don't buy this anterior placenta thing, I apparentley have one but Ive felt things since 16 weeks... Im not sure I even believe them tbh! I cant be the only one incubating Micheal Flatley, lord of the dance???

JuniDD · 06/10/2014 14:53

minion you are organised! Just put the finishing touches to my hospital bags after your inspiration.

Well, the raspberry leaf seemed to make me feel incredibly sick (although I do feel sick at night now. AWESOME) so that may be the first & last time I take it. Not sure if I'll be able to get hold of any tea either. I did have lots of BH last night but that seems to have started up anyway.

Sorry about the beans pis but eating potato with a spoon sounds really relaxing!

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 14:54

I sort of see the logic to it though min it's an extra layer to kick through to be felt, so I was told I would feel things, but when they're stronger movements, maybe not the gentle ones. Minimin could just be a good kicker!! :)

teejayem · 06/10/2014 14:55

callipy I have had exactly the same. Friday night I really fancied a curry, and had massive loo-regret afterwards. Basically anything that isn't uber bland makes my body reject it in some way shape or form, which is a bit of a shitter considering I did a months worth of batch cooking largely 'flavoursome' dinners that I can't face. Oh well....
Contacted local Maternity unit directly today, I don't need to go through GP so I'm just waiting for the Midwife to call me back with appt details. Told my Mumma yesterday, which weirdly enough felt like a huge relief (I'm 31......Hmm ) and now my boss knows after I had to excuse myself at this morning's meeting to go and throw up my tea. Happy that the PURE UNBRIDLED TERROR seems to have gone off a bit....

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 14:56

I found a frey bentos pic in the cupboard, AIBU to eat it for tea?? :) with lots of peas mixed in. I think there's something wrong with me lol

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 14:56

Pie not pic

Pisghetti · 06/10/2014 15:10

Zyla YABU as presumably it has been there since the 80s Wink

Do they really still make those??

Seriously though - I'd eat whatever you fancy. I've gone off so much I just make up my meals on the basis of what is least likely to offend me half way through now.

laurenamium · 06/10/2014 15:26

Mmmm Frey bentos pies! And big fat chunky home made chips...

FurryScoob · 06/10/2014 15:26

zyla there is never a good reason to eat one of those pies not even if u mix in loads of peas!

I'm 35+2 today & getting mild period type pain, is this just more stretching or things starting to gear up for evicting baby? She's been having a good wiggle this morning.

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 15:30

Thought there might be comments hehe, I'll see what I fancy at food time.

It's getting so exciting on here with some of you getting close, I want squidgy baby pics!! :)

Pisghetti · 06/10/2014 15:32

I know Zyla I was thinking when Ness put the new thread up we'll probably have three babies on it!

FurryScoob · 06/10/2014 15:40

Shock it a scary thought when your one of the 3 likely to give birth soon, especially when I've only made a half arsed attempt at packing hospital a bag! minion I'm jealous of your organisation but very greatful for the list I can steel!

OP posts:
JuniDD · 06/10/2014 16:28

furry I've not had any pains like that... maybe get the bag done?! Keep us posted!

Minion · 06/10/2014 16:39

scoob steal away kid, but I'm sorry in advance of it turns out to be a load of bollocks! We'll just blame the husband haha ??

wilmabedrock · 06/10/2014 16:50

They have spare baby clothes at the hospital in case you forget anything but list sounds great Min.

Ooh scoob pains sound exciting. I didn't go into labour naturally last time so don't know what to look out for. Could be some mild braxton hicks?

My tummy would be dodgy after a curry. I would still eat one though!

ZylaB · 06/10/2014 17:59

Someone..

RPopz · 06/10/2014 18:00

I don't buy the anterior placenta business either!! I'm anterior too but not felt anything much later than other people in my antenatal group.

Sorry about the curry Cal ... I never really fancied them when I was feeling sick in the first trim, but I've had a fair few since being preg and not had any issues. Maybe just a dodgy one! Sad

Hospital bag Min - how exciting!!

Zyla I luuurrrve Fray Bentos pies Grin Grin Grin

I've got ANOTHER cold!! Angry Angry Angry
