Sleepy I feel EXACTLY the same! Today is the first day I've been getting a sore bum but OMG, this morning it was SO sore! And I've got a sore neck and back too All I'm doing is looking at spreadsheets as well and I am a geek and usually love that but recently I've been struggling to stay awake looking at them. Think I'm going to try and sneak home in about half an hour...

Sleepy and Jessie - completely agree. Have been trying to adjust my work chair as bum, back and shoulders have been aching but hasn't helped. Could probably sit up a bit straighter though- trainer at antenatal fitness is always going on about posture so may well be time to take notice!

Much better night's sleep last night - didn't use any support around bump or back but only seem to need to prop bump up on some nights and not others. Suspect being so tired from night before helped.

I think I might actually ask for a new chair. I've not had my desk assesment yet (which you're supposed to get when they find out your pregnant) and will be very surprised if I don't have to just organise it myself (my manager is lovely but worse than useless when it comes to things like that!). I was on secondment in a different department until a few weeks ago and when I returned, I was left with the oldest, scabbiest chair there is! Although if others are feeling uncomfortable too, maybe it's not the chair.

It'd be worth a go anyway - might not just be the chair but can't hurt to have a new one

Sleepy yes!!! Lost my mojo... Doesn't help I've had a bit of a confidence knock - my previous bully of a boss really made me doubt myself and it's had a lasting effect, so now I've got it in my head that my current boss thinks my colleague (who I'm senior to) is way better than me, because she said she thought she was good. I know it's irrational, I'm really pleased that she is good because she's only been there three months and it helps me that she's great, but my brain has interpreted this as everyone thinks she's good and I'm rubbish. Doesn't help that she told me she will go for my mat leave if they offer it - which she's quite entitled to do of course, but I'm just worried they won't want me back!! Apparently my boss told her they might not even cover me and may spread the work across the team - no idea how that would work because everyone is working at full capacity as it is and things still don't get done...!

Just had my midwife appt. Didn't get to listen to the heartbeat though as they won't do it! Boo!!

I was actually looking forward to going back to work in two weeks time, my GP is going to write me a sick note to release me for limited duty - but I had a blinding headache all morning and just spent three blissful hours sleeping. Bah!

I am completely useless updating the list on mobile but my due date has changed quite a bit, to the 16th June and we are having another little girl.

My teeny little nearly 2 year old is going to be a big sister! Starting to sink in now after a rather fraught 18-some weeks.

Not been the easiest pregnancy so far so I haven't checked into the last couple of threads. Hopefully it's ok to jump back in now.

sleepy my levels of productivity have been low... and it's hard to sit all day. I need to complete a risk assessment because i will be doing somw field work and I was reading that I could talk to my health and safety adviser to discuss some options to be more comfortable at work : e.g. new chair. I also laughed that they actually wrote something along this lines: pregnant women require more frequent toilet visits and they havethe right to leave their work space as often as they need. :-)
