Choccamocha · 07/05/2006 22:13

Hi LTH - I'd just joined Slimming World on the Tuesday before I found out on the Friday. I was hoping my stomach was going to get smaller by Christmas!!!!
Had a wave of nausea hit me yesterday afternoon and again at the same time today, but other than that, no symptoms yet.
Daren't even contemplate twins, ds 3 is only 6 months old.

MerlinsBeard · 07/05/2006 22:15

me too, although not so sure on dates so could b dec 2006! still got a roly belly from ds2 which i am hopeing is just me being paranoid but i am sure its bigger! off to dr tomo eek!

Choccamocha · 07/05/2006 22:22

I'm not going to the docs til I'm over 8 weeks. They don't even look at you til you are over 12 weeks here. Was a bit surprised with my last pregnancy how few appts I had compared to the first 4.

laughalot · 08/05/2006 15:42

Hi everyone and congratulations to you all ill post on here now im due 10th jan I think I have a ds who is 21 months me 27 dh 29. My doctor needs a sample before they will let me see the midwife.

Hattie2 · 08/05/2006 16:09

Hi all - I'm due 13th Jan, currently have one dd who is 3.

Laughalot - I read your post as "I think I have a ds who is 21 months". Pregnancy brain set in already? :)

laughalot · 08/05/2006 16:13

Hattie I probably did write that my brains are going already. Actually I feel really normal just a little tired that worries me slightly because I was really ill with ds so im panacking.

laughalot · 08/05/2006 16:14

Hattie my grammer is shocking it does read like that.

Hattie2 · 08/05/2006 16:29

It made me smile on a dull afternoon at work - I keep sneaking in to look at this without anyone seeing the title of the thread over my shoulder!

skerriesmum · 08/05/2006 17:45

Hi everyone, only 4 weeks but doctor still wants to see me today to confirm I guess...
All those for whom this is the third (or fourth?) time, is it true you show much earlier second time around? I actually quite like my maternity clothes and want to know when to get them all out again Grin

laughalot · 08/05/2006 18:49

Congrats skerrismum I havent had chance to say that yet.

saltcod · 08/05/2006 20:56

Hi & Congratulations everyone! May I join too, please?

Taken 1.5 yrs (secondary infertility) & 3 goes of clomid, but am finally pregnant with no. 2 Grin.

Not quite sure when I'm due .... keep getting different answers. Doc's receptionist makes it 5th Jan, but I thought it was the 3rd...... (LMP was 29th March if anyone is an expert at working out due dates!!). So, by my reckoning I am 6 weeks tomorrow. Booked in to see midwife in 2.5 wks......ooh!

indignatio · 09/05/2006 07:42

can I join please - ttc for almost 4 years (ds is nearly 4 !!) and cross on the stick this morning. Due 10/16th Jan by my absentminded calcs

Congrats to everyone - have been gazing at this thread and others for so long now - almost gave up hope of being able to join in

lucy5 · 09/05/2006 07:45

I'm from the December thread and just wanted to say hello and congratulations to all Grin

Debbsy · 09/05/2006 07:55

me too

Esmummy · 09/05/2006 09:02

Sorry to hijack. Am from the November thread, Choccamocha, I done exactly the same, I joined weight watchers online on a wednesday then found out i was pregnant on the thursday, what a waste of £50.
Good luck to all you due in January :)

Choccamocha · 09/05/2006 11:00

Esmummy, at least I wasn't the only one lol. I've decided to keep going for now. Not for the weight loss, but because I am eating better than I have done in months. When I go the the docs, I'll discuss it with him and see what he says.

Choccamocha · 09/05/2006 11:10

Skerriesmum, my last pregnancy was my 5th and I managed to keep mine secret until I was 22 weeks and only then did people know because we told them. My ds 2 was born with a heart defect and we have an indepth scan on the baby's heart when I am about 20 weeks.

Again we won't be telling family and friends until we have had this scan done and hopefully know everything will be ok.

Getting back to your question though, yes after dd1 I have noticed/am aware, that I show quicker with each pregnancy!

laughalot · 09/05/2006 13:07

Congrats to the new comers, been to docs this morning to take sample and I have a appointment on friday for the doc to book me in with he midwife.

magnolia1 · 09/05/2006 14:30

Bloody hell, another thread i had to find lol.

Posted on the other one then realised this was now the official one!

Not sure if I should be here or Dec 2006 but will find out tomorrow.

Having an early scan for dates and due to spotiing last night they have bought the date forward.

Congrats to everyone.

My doctor didn't want a sample, he said after 4 children and 2 positive home pg tests I think we can safetly say you are pregnant Grin

Nemo1977 · 09/05/2006 15:34
