Evening lovely ladies!!
I have resisted peeing on anything all the long day, but i have one test saved for a special treat tomorrow, and then I have one more digi, which I want to save for a week to check that it has gone up to 3weeks, which will let me know all is fine (my last MC I knew because the test went back from over four weeks, or whatever it goes to and then dropped back to 2-3 weeks, telling me hormones were going the wrong way).
I keep madly poking my boobs just to reassure myself they still hurt... who'd have thought Id welcome it!
Hope you are all finding some time to pamper yourself, the first weeks can be hard work, without everyone knowing why we are a little tired and hormonal!! (Im off to eat some chocolate).

For the stats, just your name, the number (#) DC that you are expecting and your due date.

Just copy and past the 'list' below and add yours.

Someone anal will join us at some point and put them in some kind of order Grin

Isnt it amazing how the men get so proud of their bit in all this baby making.... my DP is full of himself too Ladygrace... youd think it was all their own work! Its great your other half is so happy!
My DP is gleeful too, hed really like a girl as we have two boys. So would I, but boys are great, and easier on their Mums I think! I just hope this one sticks... I dont mind what it is, we just feel our family would be made complete with No.3! (and a dog, two cats, 9 ducks, and 3 alpacas)!

StarlightMcKenzie · 29/09/2011 22:25

I dunno. wrt the dates I had to get mine changed last time. The sonographer managed to conclude that the conception date was when my dh was abroad Hmm.

They don't listen to you, these medical people do they Grin. No matter how much I protested. I think they just felt sorry for my DH.

In the end I realised that it was me after all, that had my notes, so I just changed the date to dd's due date as I had worked out, which was subsequently her birthday.

I understand why people want the experience of both, and I feel quite lucky that I have a boy and a girl (although PIL are not going to like the idea of us having a third now because they think we are SURELY done with one of each), but I do remember recognising at the sex scan that I was going to be disappointed whichever it was. Disappointed if it wasn't a girl, but also disappointed that ds won't have a brother.

No pleasing me then.

You're welcomeSmile please ignore my typos, they are also due to my phone.

When do you think most people see the dr once they get a BFP? I want to get in to the 'system' but I'm not sure if I'm a bit early yet.

My AF was due yesterday.. Was thinking of booking an app some time next week..

MyMamaToldMe · 30/09/2011 09:58

Hi Ladies - another June baby here! :) Tested positive yesterday and due date is around the 4th June.

This will be DC2 (have a 3.5 yo DD). Really tired at the moment (although I am not sleeping well - what's that about?!) and my boobs are so sore!

I called dr yday but only got an app for the 11th Oct. I have a really lovely dr and I know she will be pleased for me.

Have to say I KNOW I am pregnant, and I am pleased and this was really wanted, but I feel a bit in a bubble about it at the moment - like it hasn't really sunk in - IYKWIM?

Welcome MyMammaToldMe Smile

I know what you mean about it not sinking in yet, I was like that last time.. This time however I feel it has sunk in white quickly and I've moved on to worrying about every little thing that might go wrong Confused

I called the drs and they didn't have an appointment in the next week. They did say however that I can self refer myself to the maternity unit here so I called up and they're gonna see me at 10 on Sunday morning for a quick chat and to give me' a booking in app date Smile

BustAMove · 30/09/2011 11:27

Hi,

Another one here! Was way too scared to join any bus, and a bit scared to join here. Anyway, have a few v faint +, so hoping that is that. Will do another one in a few days time just to make sure I have a lovely BFP.

#3, due about 5th June I think. Good to be here.

StarlightMcKenzie · 30/09/2011 11:39

Hiya, and welcome! Grin

Blimey though there are lots of us going for a number 3. That makes me feel so much better because when the news gets out in real life, I'm going to have a lot of very unimpressed relatives who think that having a boy and a girl means you should be done.

Most notably my MIL who thinks that it will ruin her son's life.

I hope we get a few more first timers though. There is something definately unique about being pregnant with your first and it's nice to share that ladygrace.

The stuff I did first time round out of excitement that I am just too weary and poor to do this time Grin. Not any less excited about the baby, but I just have a little less time to indulge in some of the activities I did with my first, like wander around mothercare touching all the newborn clothes and doing hours and hours of internet research on buggies. etc.

Kveta · 30/09/2011 12:51

hi, I might be joining, hopefully until the end :)

had a mc (at ~6 weeks) in august, so no idea when I ovulated, but 2 sainsbos tests suggest I am indeed upduffed again! by my calculations due date is anything from 2nd to 9th of june :o so will need to wait for dating scan to give more accurate reading. I'm not getting my hopes up at all this month - but last month the myriad few tests I did were all quite faints +ves and the one I did this morning was pretty unequivocal :o plus got the sore boobs, feeling faint, queasy, more knackered than usual etc etc. and nearly knocked DS out when he was feeding this morning, it hurts! However, many symptoms are better than none IMO.

this would be DC2 for us, DS is 2 now.

MyMamaToldMe · 30/09/2011 14:13

I'm sure we will get a few more 1st timers in a few weeks! First they need to find out they are pregnant, and then find the wonderful site that is MN! :o Took me a while first time round.

I'm pretty certain of my dates - did ovulation tests and then did the deed a few times over the 48 hours and viola! But like you Dalrymps, I am now worrying about every little thing!

Kveta - fingers crossed for you.

Starlight this time round already feels a bit that way too - more of a 'just get on with it' rather than be in wonder about everything.
