wow starlight congratulations! I'm on the April thread...but am sure it won't be long before you get some company on here.

StarlightMcKenzie · 27/09/2011 17:42

Hi Digital, lovely to see you. Thanks for popping over and congratulations.

Hi Starlight, Congats!! Have you tested poss. in a convincing way then?? Ive now POS 3 times (the cheap internet ones), and there is a feint line if you hold it just right.... but my first day of period was just on the 6th of Sept. so very soon to test. (Although in my experience a line is always a possitive)! My boobs are really sore in that tell tale way, but I thought I had just strained muscles at a night class....
Ive got two boys, and since then had two MCs, last one last month, so this would be a result!!! fingers crossed, although I am not going to get excited this time until I have a good scan result.

StarlightMcKenzie · 28/09/2011 08:52

Hi greengoose,

I tested extremely early. 6 days early in fact but I have now (at 4 days early) the digital positive that SAYS 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'.

Due date seems to be 9th June.

Wishing you the best for this one hanging around and so sorry about your previous MC. I had one between DS and DD. It was easy to deal with in the end because I know that DD would not be here if I had carried as I conceived just a couple of months later.

Starlight, I got 1-2 weeks on a CB digi today!! I think it puts my date at around the 11th June. I am not going to count on it, and it feels a bit weird to be pregnant again so soon, but Im really happy to at least be on the way forward again, IYSWIM! Hopefully there will be more of us along soon..... its a bit quiet!

StarlightMcKenzie · 28/09/2011 22:13

There's a few on the June bus that have had BFPs but haven't come over here yet. Don't know why. Perhaps I'm really smelly!

Congratulations by the way though! Grin

Oooh. May I join? I wasn't on the June bus but a 2012 one but June appears to be the month Smile

StarlightMcKenzie · 29/09/2011 08:01

Hi toddle. Congratulations. Is this your first?

OP posts:
tethersend · 29/09/2011 08:10

Helloo...?

I've not been on any bus... Can I still join?

StarlightMcKenzie · 29/09/2011 08:25

Hi tethers. I've not been on any bus either. I was planning to go onto the June bus just to announce, but they weren't having a lot of good news at that particular point and I felt it would have been a bit like rubbing it in.

greengoose · 29/09/2011 08:53

Hi to Toddle and Tethers! congratulations!! Have you worked out dates or anything yet? It feels so soon to find out, with my two boys I only knew after I missed a period.....

I POS again this morning.. thank goodness for ebay cheapies, otherwise Id be broke by this addiction!

Is anyone having any symtoms? My boobs ache, and Im really tired, and Im not sleeping very well, but I think thats just because Ive got so much to do! (We are about to open a toy and baby shop, good timing)! I dont feel sick at all, but I think that comes later, although I didnt actually get sick with my boys and I did before both my MC, so it might not be a good sign for me (Or maybe it means a girl)?!

I'm sure there will be others that come on here that want more info than that but for starters this is alright isn't it?

MN knew before DH here too. I did try to tell him but he didn't believe there was a line, even when I showed him.

He made me go out and get a digital but I had to wait a couple of days for before it was safe to waste that kind of money.

Well, it's a bit boring at the beginning tbh. You think this massive life-changin body-changing thing is happening to you but your GP will be fairly non-plussed and make an appointment for you for 12 weeks time at a hospital to be put on a conveyor belt for blood tests and to meet a midwife. If they are able to be joined up this will involve a scan too, but it won't be early enough to tell the sex they can actually, but don't due to the size meaning that it is difficult and as such will make your appointment much longer.

If you are VERY LUCKY, there might be a midwife at the GPs that will see you briefly before to take your blood pressure and tell you to eat healthily, but you really do have to be extra lucky to get that.

I'm going to wait for a while too, but you might want to go earlier as sometimes there is a kind of waiting list for the booking in tests and scan and then they can be done later than optimal times. You might want to just get in the system, even if you don't quite believe it yet.

Is your DH home yet?

OP posts:
StarlightMcKenzie · 29/09/2011 20:17

If this is anything like my last pregancies, I will start to get heartburn and nausea around week 5. I'll be up at the GP by then, which reminds me actually that since I moved, I haven't actually GOT a GP Hmm

Suppose I'd better get that sorted then.

OP posts:
toddle · 29/09/2011 20:31

Hmm I posted earlier on the iPhone app and it appears to have vanished.

I'm another for mn finding out before dp. Well he wouldn't answer the phone and I didn't know what time he would be home and I had to tell someone.

What do we need for the stats
