Thanks happymummytobe

Congratulations BB3! yay for two girls how lovely I'm so excited for you. GrinGrinGrinGrin

Are they identical? I hope you've stopped bleeding. How quickly did it happen? When i went to bed you were being monitored. Was it an emergency CS or did they monitor you and just decide the time was right?

groovy any news?

Hope everyone is ok this morning. Going to enjoy my first proper day on mat leave today by having a pamper morning with presents given to me by work and family so having wax [ouch emoticon] pedicure and mum to be pamper package.Grin

Scheherezade · 20/09/2011 07:55

massive congrats bb3 - hope you're doing well also!

And yes, keep us updated groovy Grin

ThinkI just had my show! V. exciting! Rang ward yesterday as was going to go in for monitoring as he hadn't moved much all day, but then i mucked out horse and he started shifting so called up to cancel. He seems to try to turn and get stuck sideways, silly baby.

monkeybubbles · 20/09/2011 08:08

congratulations BB3!!! so exciting that your girls arrived safely. hope your bleeding stops soon

Trudyla · 20/09/2011 08:09

Congratulations BB3. I'm so pleased for you. 2 little girls, how cute Grin Hope you'll feel better soon and ready to go home. How long will you have to stay in for, do you know?

Engelsmeisje · 20/09/2011 08:09

Good morning ladies.

Have just been catching up on the thread.

Thinking of you cupoftea. Sending my thoughts and prayers for Beatrice.

Congratulations BB3 on the birth of your baby girls.

Have just started maternity leave - 36 weeks today. Hoping that baby gives me just a bit more time to myself and doesn't turn up too early. Still feel like there's a lot to be done!

LittlePebble · 20/09/2011 08:17

scheherezade how exciting! Maybe I need to find some horses to muck out Hmm

Leo4 · 20/09/2011 08:20

Congrats bb3 on the birth of your two daughters!!! Exciting times ahead!! Gd weights too :) hope your feeling well and the blood calms down soon... After having my bro my mum had massive bleeding loss and ended up with 2 blood transfusions and was in hospital for a week so really hoping yours slows ... Once again how exciting two girls!!!

Scheherezade · 20/09/2011 08:32

just to add, 36 + 6 today!

Shall we add BB3 to the birth list, or let her do it in her own time?

DP is taking me to ikea tomorrow :) am going up to stables again today, so who knows what that might trigger Grin baby is in a very odd position this morning, I am all lumps and bumps high up - think he's got himself stuck again. Not sure if it was a full show or not, but stuff is definately softening up down there Grin

Bubalie · 20/09/2011 08:47

Congratulations BB3 - excellent news and glad the babies are doing well. I hope your bleeding slows down, keep us posted. Yay the first October babies are arriving...

Groovy any news yet - I think you may be the next.

Good luck to people starting maternity leave as well, enjoy your time off, I've been off for 2 weeks now (since week 35) and it's been great - I've done so much and loved the sleep and rest I can have.

Scheh things seem to be moving in the right direction for you too, no signs for me just as yet 37+3 today :)

LittlePebble · 20/09/2011 09:28

Ooh yes 37+2 today Grin

Overreactionoftheweek · 20/09/2011 09:36

Hello, I keep dipping in and out of here so sorry I don't really know everyone...I jus can't keep up!

Had a growth scan yesterday at 35+2 and the baby is already more than 7lbs, eek! So at 37 wks they're going to check if his head is low, if it is they'll book an induction date for no later than 40wks, if it's not, then we'll discuss 'other options'...think she was hinting at a c section.

Congratulations BB3 and good luck to you others who seem to be heading in the right direction!

meravigliosa · 20/09/2011 09:45

BB3 congratulations, lovely news, hope they sort out the bleeding quickly.

37 + 5

SconesForTea · 20/09/2011 10:20

Congratulations on your two lovely little girls BB3, what wonderful news! I hope your bleeding stops and you can get some rest soon... Thinking of you with much excitement (and a little envy).

Very, very sad to hear cupoftea's news. Sad

Good luck to all of those of you who think things are getting started. It sounds a bit surreal to me, as I'm not due until the end of Oct, so have weeks to go get and am not thinking of labour at all yet. Just wishing that I could sleep properly so that I wasn't so tired and miserable all the time. I feel sorry for DD at the moment with her grumpy and tetchy mummy.

SconesForTea · 20/09/2011 10:20

Oh 35+2 (and counting)

GroovyRach · 20/09/2011 10:29

Morning everyone Smile

Massive congratulations to BB3!!!! So exciting waking up in the morning to find out who has popped! Are we seeing a trend here... so far all baby girls! Cant wait to hear names. Perfect weights aswell. Enjoy what rest you are able to get Smile

bub, scheh, little pebble, leo, sunface, sassy, penelope - think i keep getting ahead of myself Confused. everytime i think something is happening, i get all excited then it comes to nothing lol. starting to think that maybe i did just eat something that didnt agree with me yesterday, but cant really think what (maybe the bag of twirl bites Blush) while out shopping had something to do with it Hmm, but so far this morning, all quite!

scheh think my little girly keeps getting stuck in odd positions aswell. i usually always have her back/butt sticking out right above my belly button and then her legs/feet coming right out in a huge lump on my right side! i do think she has dropped a bit though as a few weeks ago, she was all right up above my belly button, now seems to be under aswell. why cant these babies just getting the hint that there is much more space out here for them rather than being all squished up inside! the mind boggles Grin

enj, little pebble yay for maternity leave! this is now my 3rd week off and im loving every minute of it. had visions of being very bored at home all day, but have found plenty to do to keep me busy! your treatments all sound like heaven! im def going to treat myself to something like that after the little lady is here, i feel it will be well deserved!!

anyway, im off to get sorted. my mum is on her way over to help with painting the spare room, (well, she is painting, i'll supervise and tell her what bits she has missed Wink). made a to do list last night so hoping to get through as much of it as i can today.

xXx

GroovyRach · 20/09/2011 10:30

oh, and 38+2

wheelshavefallenoffthebus · 20/09/2011 11:07

congratulations BB3!
Had another sleepless night last night with contractions and again nothing this morning. Am off for a scan and ECV if needed this pm - bit worried about it but will be glad to get everything checked.
Otherwise induction date set for 3rd Oct at 39 weeks.
hope everyone else is doing well, sorry am finding it hard to keep track of all the posts as well :)

meravigliosa · 20/09/2011 11:08

Realise I am a bit behind the curve here, as everyone else will already probably have done all this, but re pre-washing baby stuff, did anyone bother to take all the lining etc out of a new moses basket and wash that as well as clothes, blankets etc? I haven't used a moses basket before, so bought one new, even though this is #3, as had got rid of crib.

37+5

GroovyRach · 20/09/2011 11:16

I have washed everything as iv got it. I like things to smell of 'me' rather than a shop, but I could just be odd that way Grin

25babalou · 20/09/2011 11:20

Hi Ladies, Can I be a very late addition to your bus?? Just thought I would leave a quick post, having been reading this thread for wks it's about time I said hello.

My thoughts go to cupoftea.

Congratulations to BB3

38wks 2day xx

GroovyRach · 20/09/2011 11:29

Welcome 25. We must have same due date, 2nd oct? The race is on!! Lol Grin

Penelope1980 · 20/09/2011 11:30

GroovyRach I am sure it's all moving in the right direction though, the feelings you keep getting must mean something is on the move! (that's what I keep telling myself about the period like cramps I've had over the last couple of days anyway)

Welcome, 25!

I went to my midwife today and she told me I don't have the 'look' of someone about to give birth (whatever that means) and at her guess I'm at least a week away. I find that idea quite liberating though, as am getting sick of lurching from day to day wondering if this is it. Now, I'll just wait until next week, and see if anything happens in the meantime! She did say that she doubts I'll go too much longer (as in weeks), so here's hoping she's right and it's a Sept baby ...

meravigliosa I have washed clothes and blankets etc but not the lining of the moses basket

Scheherezade · 20/09/2011 11:35

TMI alert...

... still very bloody discharge, plus periody pains now. Have popped a sanitary pad in to keep an eye on stuff (yum).

It also spurred me into finally packing my hospital bag - so thats done! Although I can't pack a baby bag as nothings washed, and nowhere for it to go :( it's all just piled up i nthe cot and in plastic bags. lets hope nothing happens before tomorrow so we can get to Ikea for storage stuff! Think a few boxes for under the cot, and something to go in our wardrobe will suffice.

Got the changing table yesterday, it's got a lot of room for storage, so can't decide whether to try squeeze it in our bedroom as we can use it for storing baby clothes, or keep it downstairs in living room. Maybe I'll pick up another changing table at ikea tomorrow :)

Scheherezade · 20/09/2011 11:36

Hello 25 :)

can't believe how horribly unorganised we are, I did keep telling DP, but he doesn't listen.

Am all dizzy and weak after hot shower & running round shoving stuff in a bag, so having sit down & tea before restarting.

Leo4 · 20/09/2011 11:41

overreaction gosh that is big! my baby was 7lb 13oz at 37+2 so they are inducing me at 40 weeks... I thought I might have to have a c-section but luckily my baby turned head down at 37 wks! But whatevers safest for the baby is best! Wishing you luck!

Ahh groovy rach bubs will come soon!!! And I think I'm having a boy so I'm sure il break the trend of girls sorry lol!

wheels hopefully ecv works hun and is not too painful!! My inductions set for 4th October but really want LO to come before that! Today preferrably!!

mera I washed out the Moses basket and everything else...

38 + 0 today wopp
