A mornin to you too Dee

Phew, dh and I have only just dragged ourselves out of bed since our reunion

It's lovely to have him home again and ds is stuck to him like a limpit

Is it tonight the clocks change?

travellingwilbury · 24/10/2009 08:52

Good morning all , Dee are you awake yet ? Mine used to always think 5 was a perfectly reasinable to start the day too , I feel your pain xx

Ilike I am glad you have had a nice reunion with dh and yes it is tonight the clocks go back . Shame nobody can explain the concept to small children .

Does anybody know anything about mp3 players ? I have got a question in chat at the minute and I might scream if I can't work out the bloody thing soon

shabbapinkfrog · 24/10/2009 10:27

Morning girls - I had a lie in

Afternoon all,

Am now lodged at my sister's, isn't it hard to get used to someone else's house and ways of doing things?

Lovely story shabba, amazing...

Aww, ILikeTo, glad you're enjoying your hubby being back, very sweet about your DS. Children are so cute, even when my DH only gets home from work my Ds is attached to him.

I had completely forgotten about clocks , I was just thinking this morning how dark it was and now it's going to be even worse.

What do you want to know about mp3 players tw? I can't see thread in chat...

That's a change shabba, how'd you manage it? You're normally first on here

shabbapinkfrog · 24/10/2009 16:46

I was up very, very late talking on the instant message thing on FB

evening girls

I am not around as much these days because i find it really hard being a working mum with a demanding 4 year old. I take my hat off to those with you more than 1 running around.

Spider I didnt mean to ignore your question the other day. I think the anti depressants make it easier to seperate issues in my head. I feel now when I am upset I know why I am upset as opposed to just thinking I cant cope

I still dont feel I cope well but at least now I can tell people round about me why I am in tears.

Does this make any sense??

Its nice but heartbreaking that our numbers seem to swell week by week .. welcome to all our new mums

fmn.. if you are lurking just wanted to say it was nice to hear from you ..i think of you often. This beautiful supportive part of mn wouldnt be here if it wasnt for you and your lovely daughter Eris.

I told Ross all about the clocks going back.. chance of him not getting up at 5.45am??

woollyjo · 24/10/2009 22:14

Urgh the clock change! before dd it meant an extra hour in bed, now it means an extra grizzly hour in the day! when the clocks went forward she adjusted her sleep accordingly (she has been a 5 - 5:30am waker always).

I never was one to sleep in but I would like to get to 6:30 more than once a week (DH gets up with her on a Sat).

Hope you are all wellxx

Mornin folks.

God i hate mornins.

Did you know that?

tinkerbellesmuse · 25/10/2009 06:49

Think you may have mentioned it Dee!

I have just been out riding - one of the things that I love and can't do if I am pregnant so trying to enjoy that in the hope that one day soon I wont be able to!

Yesterday was completely written off - had a dreadful hangover after over indulging in the wine. Just needed to numb the shock of the PM and did so quite well - in fact can't recall much of fRiday evening

Thanks all for your kind words on this and the other thread. Hope everyone else is getting on ok?

frasersmummy · 25/10/2009 07:49

morning everyone

you've been out riding already tink??? now i feel like a slob cos I am still in my pj's

Yesterday was terrible.. Ross was such a brat.. so dh says he is not getting cartoons yesterday or today

so what am I supposed to do with 4 year old at 7am? while he goes back to bed??

so far we have built 7 jigsaws and he is currently on number 8 .. which he can do without my help so I get 5 mins to myself!

tinkerbellesmuse · 25/10/2009 08:00

frasersmummy yep had a lovely ride but can't feel too smug - here in the ME it is nearly lunchtime and it is not the w/e so the children are at school and I have been up for 6 hours!

I totally sympathise with the no cartoons - DH is always punishing the DC with "no TV" with no regard to the fact that it is me who actually gets punnished most. The only way to stop them actually killing each other whilst I make summer is 40 mins of Dora and Diego!

tinkerbellesmuse · 25/10/2009 08:01

er obviously I rarely make summer, but I do manage supper occasionally!

shabbapinkfrog · 25/10/2009 08:08

Morning girls. Will you make me some Summer TBM? Please? I cant stand Autumn/Winter - and especially from today - it will be dark here by the time we have had our Sunday dinner!

woollyjo · 25/10/2009 13:07

Urgh - my clock read 4:41am when dd came in this morning! we are all in denial about the clock change.

travellingwilbury · 26/10/2009 06:34

Good morning everyone , too blummin early here again .

Hope everyone is ok , I have got my dad and step mum visiting which has been lovely but busy . Last day today , they are off back oop north tomorrow .

ILikeToQuickstepItTangoIt · 26/10/2009 07:07

Morning TW

Another early morning here too Not as bad as yesterday though.

DH is off again this morning

What a moaning minnie I am

travellingwilbury · 26/10/2009 07:20

Not moaning at all , as much as my dh drives me nuts sometimes I wouldn't like it if he was away during the week x

We are going off for a walk today , hopefully the weather will hold out . Not sure how my two are going to cope with a 3 - 4 mile walk . They are not as used to it as I was as a wee one

Wish me luck x

shabbapinkfrog · 26/10/2009 08:25

Morning girls xx

tinkerbellesmuse · 26/10/2009 09:34

Morning all.

TW enjoy your walk - my two don't walk anywhere these days. Certianly couldn't manage that sort of distance but I try to console myself that they are like little fish when it comes to swimming.

quickstep Not moaning at all - I find it soooo hard when DH has to go away. Fortunately it doesn't happen too much.

shabbapinkfrog · 26/10/2009 21:06

Everybody OK - very quiet on here

Morning Dee, looks like you were awake at stupid o'clock too.

These early morning wake up calls are getting on my wick.

Anyway, morning all I hope you have a good day

travellingwilbury · 27/10/2009 07:41

Good morning all

My dad is gpomg back today ,it has been lovely having him here but I will be glad to get an early night tonight . We always seem to be up really late talking rubbish and drinking . I am too old for this , especially when small people then wake you up 5 hours later .

shabbapinkfrog · 27/10/2009 08:57

Morning girls xx
