Just had a peek at your photos shabba - my gosh he is gorgeous! Those big blue eyes! It's really not hard to know who he looks like

Don't think you should be blaming your age - kids are knackering deliciously tiring no matter how old you are!

shabbapinkfrog · 21/10/2009 22:16

Awwww thanks girls - all my four sons have been very alike and Lew is following his Daddy and Uncles xxx

VaginaShmergina · 21/10/2009 22:34

Clicked on the MN link by mistake and thought I would sniff you out Shabs lol.

How are you all ?

Just stumbled across a very sad thread started by Shelleylou, I see Everlong has linked her to the Brothers/Sisiters thread.

I went to the Fire Station tonight with my daughters Brownie pack...... oooo errrrr missus nudge nudge wink wink lol

shabbapinkfrog · 21/10/2009 22:38

Girls - any of you who dont know this lovely lady - let me introduce you to my nutty mate - I am not allowed to say her MN name cause it is rude and my Tom will tut at me A lady who always hides her sadness to make everybody else happy and laughing. MN has been a shadow of its former self these last few months without you 'Ladies front bum.' Oh yes, I almost forgot to say, she loves a good heated debate

OP posts:
VaginaShmergina · 21/10/2009 22:42

How very dare you Madam lol A good heated debate, WHERE, link me in now lol

So nice to see so many of you still here supporting one another and sad there are new ones too. Unfortunately Shabs is over qualified in this department and as for her saying I hide my sadness to keep others happy...... tsk tsk your Shabbiness, pot and kettle spring to mind.

shabbapinkfrog · 21/10/2009 22:57

Vee - I reckon you should start a new 'sanctuary' thread - come on you know it makes sense!! xx

OP posts:
VaginaShmergina · 21/10/2009 23:05

Do you know what I really miss that place. It seems like a lifetime ago doesn't it ??

The other VS, QS, Tiggs, Lillee, Ruby, Hoochie, mummylin, steward, OJ, you and me to name but a few.

Do you think we could ever recapture that or whats in the past is simply that ???

Who on earth started it all off anyways ?

shabbapinkfrog · 21/10/2009 23:11

Go on Vee - I know all the Mums on here would enjoy it xxxx I double dog dare you

VaginaShmergina · 21/10/2009 23:15

Sounds like a plan Shabs. Whispy came and saw us the other day with her DH and DD's. Her DD's are just so nice and polite, tis hard to imagine they are hers lol, wonder if she is lurking and will now give me a bollocking lol.

Will have a think bout the Sanctuary and maybe we could call it something different...... thinking cap is on !!

I really must get my bum into gear tody .

Feel free to come and give me a kick x

ILikeToQuickstepItTangoIt · 22/10/2009 07:25

Morning all

It was nice to see Vag, I haven't seen her on here or MN for ages.

DH is back tonight after four days away. I can't wait. I miss him so much and M keeps asking for Da-da. So sweet, but heartbreaking because I can't explain to him. I haven't told dh that M has asked for him otherwise he'll be in pieces. He's very soppy bless him.

tinkerbellesmuse · 22/10/2009 09:57

Morning all - been away for a few days: not in body only spirit! Been finding it hard to think about F so avoiding this thread otherwise I'm in tears and I feel bad for DD and DS. They don't like me crying.

Rubbish day so far. On top of the other thread I was really hoping I might be pregnant, but appears that is not to be this month. Feel irrationally distraught.

shabbapinkfrog · 22/10/2009 10:26

Oh TBM - wish I could give you a massive hug. I am sorry that 'its not to be' this month. I think when we lose a child we search everywhere for a tiny ounce of happiness, and most of the time it feels like we are clutching at straws. Without sounding like my Nana Elsie 'when the time is right it will happen.'

When your DC get older they will realise that its fine to sob when you are very sad and upset. My crying and grief haven't affected my Danny (27yrs) other than made him compassionate , caring and emotional - and I wouldn't have him any other way.

Will be holding you close to my heart today. Take care sweetheart xxxx

tinkerbellesmuse · 22/10/2009 10:33

Thanks shabs - it's going to be one of those days!

And I know you are right about the crying - but sometimes it is so hard to accept they have to know how rubbish the world can be when they are only 3 & 4.

whispywhisp · 22/10/2009 14:06

VAGGGGIIINNNAAASSSHMMMMERRRRGINNNNAAAAA!!!!! I have just seen your post from Wednesday....!!!!!!! You cheeky so and so! Just you wait...JUST YOU WAIT!!!

(((Sorry for popping in on this lovely thread but, yes, those polite kids are mine actually!!!)))

ILikeToQuickstepItTangoIt · 22/10/2009 18:47

{{{Tinkerbelle}}}

It's no hard when you pin your hopes on something (anything) that will help.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you next month and I'll be sending ripe and healthy egg vibes your way xxx

TheTerribleSpider · 22/10/2009 21:26

Evening all,

Did anyone give you a kick tw? Get all done? Have to get everything ready to move into my sister's tomorrow so I'll be needing one myself. She only lives a couple of minutes drive away so it's not too bad. (DH will be running back and forth )

Hope you enjoy your husband being home tonight ILikeTo. It must be hard being apart, especially for your DS.

So sorry you were disappointed tbm, it's very harsh, like shabba said I don't think it adversely affects your children, my DS gives me extra hugs and kisses on days I am obviously sad. Take extra care of yourself xx

God vaginaschmergina sounds like great craic, is she not around very often/much?

I've put a few photos on my profile thing of my children (I made it today, hope you can see it). I'll take them down after a while. Just wanted to share after I was nosying at shabba's.

Night everyone xx
