For a bit of light relief on a cold day. Please enter here the stupidest/funniest/craziest thing your dc has ever done.

Its ok to include accidents that shouldn't have been funny but were.

DD nearly 18 months will only sit on her rocking horse whilst holding Nelson Mandela's memoirs - no other book will do. Occasionally she gives him a kiss.

19 month old ds came running towards me the other day waving his hands frantically saying "hiya" in a northern accent (you need to use your imagination here as it could lose in translation) - where he has got that from, I don't know as we live down south!

I've just remembered another funny thing ds2 did when he was 2 or younger (not quite sure).

Our house then had a seperate loo upstairs, that was a very narrow little room. Dh was standing there, weeing, and ds2 came up and tried to come round his lefthand side to see what dh was doing, so dh leant over to his left to block ds2. Ds2 then tried to come round the other side and was stopped again.

So the next thing that dh knew, ds2 had ducked inbetween his legs and was coming up in front of him - and he had to react very quickly so that ds2 didn't get a rather unexpected hairwash!!!

toddlers are fab arent they
ds (22 mo) loves hiding, but hasnt quite got the hang of it.
I walk downstairs and hear
ds - hiding
me - ooh, where is ds? is he in the kitchen?
ds - no. behind piano.

like I said, he hasnt quite got the hang of it yet.

he also tells himself off when he is about to do something naughty
from the kitchen - don't touch, hot.
(he is about to touch the cooker dials)
or - no climb on table
or - no give buzz (dog) dinner

I am not looking forward to when he realises I dont have all seeing eyes....

Toddler dancing should be available on prescription!!

Love the hiding story too. DD today ate a bowl of blueberries with a fork and a look of fierce concentration - so cute. I work on a maternity unit, and she has grasped that Mummy works with "new babies" (I work with the mums, but hey, it's good enough for now!) If I have to take her in with me at the weekend the cry of "New. Baby. Hooray!!!!" seems to melt everyone, not just me!

Very funny thread!

We were walking in town with DD (17 mo) last weekend and stopped in front of a travel agent window. DD was pressed against the glass making faces, having a bit of a dance. I just stood there chatting to DH thinking she was looking at herself in the window. No, she was making eyes at a young man working in there who was waving and smiling at her! Floozy!

Well I couldn't help laughing yesterday! My toddler has just got a ride on motorbike for his 2nd birthday (I got it from Woolies before it went bust - I was there supporting Woolies!!!). However even though he got it 1.5 weeks ago he had not ridden on it because he was scared of the revving up noise it made when you pressed one of the buttons. So it just sat in the kitchen.

Anyway, yesterday one of his (girl)friends came round who is the same age, and the first thing he did when she came into the house was sit on the motorbike and rev it up in front of her.

I couldn't help laughing - he got over his fear only to impress the ladies.

By the way his father (my DH) is Italian. It must be in their genes!!!!

My DD had just learnt how to say the word 'clock' except she said 'cock' and was very proud of this new word. She walked around saying 'look, cock, cock'. The big boss estate agent of a local company came around to try to do a deal with us (he was the owner) and considered himself rather important. He had his calculator on the table and DD picked it up and said 'your cock? Your cock?' Your cock?' over and over...it took me a good few seconds of hysterical laughter before I could explain to him what she was saying!! He smiled, in that kind of way!

DS1 (2.5) takes a tiny Buddha ornament with his everywhere "Come on Buddha, let's have a wee-wee"!

Just been joined by a large cuddly Father Christmas, so now a jolly, and rather unlikely, trio.

My 14 month old has just been rummaging in our fruit box and has managed to eat half a banana and a satsuma complete with peel before I noticed...is good fibre, no?

She has also formed a strong attachment to one of my padded bras and likes to take it to bed with her now instead of her stuffed toy

DS (3.5) asked, very seriously, 'where do burglars live'. Being slightly lost for words I asked him where he thought they lived. After a lot of thought he said, 'I think they live in trees mummy!' PMSL!

In Superdrug other day ds (3) was being a pest and wouldn't let me past at the end of the aisle so I just ignored him. Old dear came down and he wouldn't let her past... keep moving wherever she moved in an attempt to stop her getting past. look on her face made me laugh/cringe though.
