Oddest sibling set you've come across

I recently met a Tiger and a Bob. Primary aged brothers, both lovely kids.

I also went to school with Claire and her brother Zephyr, and with sisters Beatrice, Georgiana, Victoria and...Cindy. Not short for anything, just Cindy.

Any sib sets you've come across that just don't seem to fit?

From my era, siblings called Anne, Andrew and Joanne. They obviously liked Ann.

An acquaintance who has named her four girls Elsie, Betsy, Daisy and Rosie. After the first two I did wonder if she had a thing about the name Elisabeth, but no. Just the ending ‘see.’ (Was kind of expecting Lizzie and Bethany)

In primary school I had a friend Safia whose family moved from Egypt, she had 2 older sisters called Reem and Rabwah. When we were in juniors her mum had a baby and named him Henry. Always thought it a bit odd they chose an English name for her brother.

I once knew two sisters called Natalie and Natasha.

canonlydoblue · 13/02/2024 23:17

I knew twins Emma and Emilia - always bothered me how similar their names were.

My mum had a friend with a Sam and Ella when I was growing up too although they used Ella and Sam.

We were once in a restaurant and on the table behind us sat Callum and Jonty with their performance parents.

Haven't rtft but Jacob Reece Mogg has 6 kids, who have 4 names each. The boys all have a few unbelievably posh fancy names thrown in but the daughter has very classic names Mary, Charlotte etc

panda42 · 13/02/2024 23:31

Not siblings but I know a Joe that married a Jolie and had a daughter called Joelle.

imnotthatkindofmum · 13/02/2024 23:33

My sister. Her DD is an unusual but traditional name. The 3 boys all have Roman/italian inspired names 🤷🏻‍♀️ their names all suit them though.

Crispynoodle · 13/02/2024 23:35

I have 4 children, the first 3 have K names the last has an S name. It was just their names not done intentionally at all. One name American, one Scottish, one Irish and one English again not intentional

imnotthatkindofmum · 13/02/2024 23:36

Isla and Ella, so samey!!

Galeforcewindatmywindow · 13/02/2024 21:09

Emma, Amy, Claire and Katy...

All conventional and fairly classic names. What’s unusual about this combination?

Mrspatmoresspoon · 13/02/2024 23:42

SemperIdem · 13/02/2024 23:44

They dropped a ball there.

Longdarkcloud · 13/02/2024 23:46

Henry and Harriet.

SemperIdem · 13/02/2024 23:47

Also siblings - Samir and Samira. They had other siblings with totally different names.

That’s like naming siblings Oliver and Olivia, surely?

SemperIdem · 13/02/2024 23:47

Longdarkcloud · 13/02/2024 23:46

Henry and Harriet go well together, to my ear?
