Oddest sibling set you've come across

I recently met a Tiger and a Bob. Primary aged brothers, both lovely kids.

I also went to school with Claire and her brother Zephyr, and with sisters Beatrice, Georgiana, Victoria and...Cindy. Not short for anything, just Cindy.

Any sib sets you've come across that just don't seem to fit?

They could have Violet if they are Coldplay fans.

People probably say this about my kids 🤣

This makes perfect sense to me. I regret not naming my son by his middle name and would be very tempted to give it as a name to a new baby. There are so few boys names I like, and I actually like the middle name more.

Oh to be clear I'm not suggesting names should match! My siblings' names don't (my parents took turns so we have two classics (mum's choices), and two that are pretty unusual (Dad's). But nothing hugely different in style really.

I just think I would be pretty annoyed if I were Cindy, or one of four Claire/Clares in my class while my bro gets such a cool name.

I have my sister's middle name as my first! I guess dad just really liked the name.

Apart from.some lighthearted debate over which of us 'owned' the name (the sister who has it first or the sister who uses it every day) it's been fine 🙂

I knew 2 sets of sisters called Carol and Karen and 2 sisters called Hayley and Kayley 😁

Growing up we had neighbours with children called Paul, Paulette and Pauline.

My siblings, all a good few years older than me, have very normal 70s/80s names like Gary/Laura/Lindsay/Barry. Then me.

It was something along the lines of Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire and... Janine. I think Janine was named first.
