Woolly Garlands for Cupoftea's beautiful girls. Knitters and crocheters needed.

You may have been following the progress of Cupoftea?s beautiful daughter, Beatrice Primrose.
This project is to make garlands for Cupoftea?s daughters, to include the flowers in all their names and other lovely things. We would appreciate your help.

The idea is to make some garlands similar to this woolly one.

However, we would like to include the following:

Bees for Beatrice
Primroses
Violets and Daisies for Beatrice?s sisters
Flowers
Any decorative motifs
Triangular bunting that we can stitch crochet motifs onto (size to be confirmed)

If you are a knitter wanting to make bunting, garter stitch is preferable as it will lie flatter.

Unlike the blanket projects, these woolly things can be made from any wool.

I will post more details including sizes and links to patterns shortly.

Please sign up if you?d like to contribute.

Jules have you had Wine too? I like bnunts Grin

Ties pesky ends together and snips them off with scissors. Mine are finished off beautifully. Not really.

Pistey - pin something!

I've been a bit hare and tortoise about the bunts. I knitted the bunts quickly, but pondered a bit too much about decorating them and events this week mean I haven't finished, sorry.

I can send five decorated and five plain garter stitch ones if that's ok, and also would a Monday posting be too late?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/10/2011 21:19

Nelly - I don't really know what to doooooo!!

Go and find a picture of something you like on my boards, or someone else's Pistey, then click pin it. Then it will be on your boards. Did you install a wee button thing on your toolbar when you set it up? Then you can just customise your boards and merrily add random stuff that pinterests you from anywhere. Tis very addictive. I like your Gromit :)

Ten bnunts mothmagnet?! That is marvelissimo!

I've not posted my contrbutions yet. Blush

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/10/2011 22:01

Nell - I don't think I have a wee button Sad

Moth, post Monday, that'll be fine.

Plain bunts are good as I've accumulated many pretty little flowers I can attach to them.

Nell, get yer arse into gear! Grin

It looks like a little page with the corner turned down and says Pin It. When you set up your Pinterest account it would've come up saying drag it to the taskbar or some such technical nonsense. Maybe if you try clicking the middle of a pic of something you like it will magically appear? Hope so. Have you any teenagers in the house? I can send you one, I have plenty. Grin

I have been annoying them all night with my questions about iPhones and contracts and mb's and stuff. I had a go but found it hard to type with my Nells. And I couldn't see the Blackcurrant keyboard without my specs. Wine

Yikes have I hijacked this thread? Sorry [lush]

NellVarnish · 14/10/2011 22:52

Blush I meant BLUSH! Not lush. Although should you be reading this thread you might disagree ...

I was a Lushie once. The shop that is. Happy days and I smelled truly gorgeoise for a lush. Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/10/2011 08:21

The question is, is there time for one more rugby accompanying bunt?!

VeryLittleGhastliness · 15/10/2011 08:35

Knotty do you need any more flowers/stars/prettiness? I've uncovered a second stash of medallions at the bottom of my workbasket (thought the pack I sent you looked a bit light) plus can knock up a few more, or do some bunts.

If not then I shall return to my big winter project (miniature amigurumi Octonauts)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/10/2011 11:03

Right. Am running to the post office now in my pyjamas. Grin

KnottyLocks · 15/10/2011 12:02

Very, some more flowers/medallions would be great. Thank you Smile

Piste, in your PJs? Shock

Parcels of woolly loveliness arrived this morning from:

I was quick.

SeveredHeadsDragonTheFloor · 15/10/2011 15:32

found the thread.

As I said elsewhere, circumstances conspired against me and I wouldn't have made the last post today. Sorry!

NellVarnish · 15/10/2011 15:55

Noooooooooo! I forgot to take a pic of explosion in a florist's shop this morning such was my haste to get to the Post Office, sans PJ's. I did thankfully for the population of the village have clothes on. Grin

Very I like the sound of your amigurami, they look so cute, but it looks a bit hard for me.

KnottyLocks · 16/10/2011 09:10

Nell, I'll take some pics this end. Smile

Severed....that you, Soupy?
