Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Ahhh, there. We probably should have asked everyone to stand up from the bench before carrying it over here, Tea!

teaandcakeplease · 13/06/2010 22:10

LOL

I thought at 1000 posts it didn't let you do anymore but Tired mum has just nipped another message in. I would've waited a little longer before making the exec decision to change nothing and leave in AIBU if I'd known you could post more than 1000 posts on the thread

Tiredmumno1 · 13/06/2010 22:51

Pmsl tea. when does your divorce from the knob come through?

do you have 2 kids together?

gomummygo · 13/06/2010 23:00

Tea - how exactly would you like us to check the pilot-chef for that last qualification?

The divorce going through will be such a freeing feeling Tea, you will have to let us know and we will virtually celebrate with you.

The cake does sound like something to look forward to Tiredmum!

gomummygo · 13/06/2010 23:04

How long does it take from separation for divorce to go through in the UK? Here it is a looooonnng year waiting.

Breakfast mimosas? Yum! Damn, I wish I'd logged on before I went downstairs and came back up with raspberry jam sandwiches and tea! It's just gone 5am here and baby been awake for over an hour so I've given up on going back to bed and have decided to start the day. Is there any room for a newbie? Boo! Baby crying now just as I've sat down to MN. Back in a bit.

teaandcakeplease · 14/06/2010 08:52

Hello Tomato Queen come and join in

As the grounds are adultery and he hasn't contested it in anyway it's ticking along nicely. I'm sure by 8 weeks time it'll be done (I hope).

Yes both my DCs are his and mine.

Just look at the bluge in their Pants GoMummy I'm a bit traditional and don't just jump into bed with people on a whim to be fair but I do miss cuddling up to someone at night and hank panky

Right time to take DD to Pre School. Weather looks lovely here today.

How old is your baby Tomato?

tea well that is a bit of good news that the divorce isnt far off, i am sorry you have to go through it, i really dont understand men like that, but by the sound of it your better off without the scumbag. does he see the kids?

hiya tomato, welcome to our bench, make yourself comfy

teaandcakeplease · 14/06/2010 11:44

Yeah 2 or 3 times a week. Comes by and plays with them or we take them out to the park or something.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 14/06/2010 11:59

Hiya Ladies

Hope all my buddies are well. Weather a bit crappy 'ere....cool and blustery

TOMATOQUEEN39 · 14/06/2010 12:51

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the welcome. I'm back now (we were in the garden checking on our tomatoes and peas and then OH took baby so I could have a quick kip). Just put her (8.5 months) down for a nap now.

Tea, sorry to hear about your troubles, sending hugs your way. Hope everything pans out for you the way you want it to over the next few weeks.

Hey AnyFucker, will swap you your crappy weather for this ridiculous unexpected heatwave we have here in Ukraine. The car showed 39C yesterday (poor baby was sweating all day and night), luckily it's cooler today (only 29C today).

Right, think I better get out of my pyjamas now! . Have a good afternoon everyone.

AnyFucker · 14/06/2010 13:00

only 29deg ???

OMG

gomummygo · 14/06/2010 13:16

Hello all! Welcome Tomato. Second the ONLY 29 degrees? Don't know if my temperature guage actually goes that high, lol!

Tea I'm glad it is moving along so smoothly for you without him contesting it at all, must be hard enough with the two DCs. I found the waiting period really difficult and then when it finally went through it was like closure. We're all different in how we cope but it certainly sucks. Long-distance hugs coming your way!

gomummygo · 14/06/2010 13:18

Tiredmum what time do we get into that cake?

Cheeky, we are unforgettable here on this bench, aren't we?
