Why? Was there any need? Pull on the old heartstrings..

Poor kids, and it's tea time.

TheFallenMadonna · 11/05/2010 19:30

For goodness sake!

BAFE · 11/05/2010 19:30

why are you annoyed? I don't get it. Plus, surely kids eat well before 7pm.

Cannotfindaname · 11/05/2010 19:31

YABU, I feel sorry for him. Blair left this country in a mess then got out at the right time and left GB with all his crap.

DC plays the caring family man all the time, that pisses me off, photos of him holding a baby, photos of him giving his wife a kiss. Bleuugghhhh.

Ladyanonymous · 11/05/2010 19:31

I cried

MadameOvary · 11/05/2010 19:31

YABVU. He was leaving No.10 fgs. What else was he supposed to do with them?

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/05/2010 19:31

Piss off you misreable old trout.

janeite · 11/05/2010 19:32

YABU.

Nancy66 · 11/05/2010 19:32

It was nice to see him as a family man and he never once used his kids for votes/sympathy during his time as PM or during the election.

Hulababy · 11/05/2010 19:32

lol at "tea time."

I suspect they ma be able to cope at eating earlier or later.

Am no big fan of GB on the whole but I don't think it is bad to bring his children out. Let's face it - this affects their lives too.

They always bring spouses and children out in these cases.

babywalks · 11/05/2010 19:33

why are you annoyed? he was leaving for the last time with his wife and kids, whats wrong with that? you obviously annoy very easily

traceybath · 11/05/2010 19:33

YABU and I'm no Gordon Brown fan.

But thought his speech was lovely and his ds's were adorable.

FrazzleRock · 11/05/2010 19:33

Maybe he should've left them behind for prep boy to look after....

fluffles · 11/05/2010 19:34

i believe he can't go back to no.10 now - aides will clear his stuff out - so he'd be a bit heartless to NOT take his family with him

bibbitybobbityhat · 11/05/2010 19:34

Wot Getorf said. With nobs on.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 11/05/2010 19:35

At least he didn't trot them out every time there was a photo op a la Blair. What did you want him to do leave them behind to jump out and frighten the Cameron children when they turn up later?

jooseyfruit · 11/05/2010 19:35

bog off silly person.
what a thing to get your knickers in a twist about.

Northernlurker · 11/05/2010 19:35

The man leaves his home with the wife and kids at his side.

Tsk, tsk - the man's clearly a dangerous reprobate. Burn him! Burn him!

OP - you need to get a grip and not post every bitter little thought the second you have it.

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 19:35

Actually i was just shocked he resigned

scurryfunge · 11/05/2010 19:36

What a ridiculous comment to make WIMS

larrysgal · 11/05/2010 19:36

You'd better hope DC's wife hides her bump then on the way in.

Alouiseg · 11/05/2010 19:36

It's one of the few things that he's done that I don't disapprove of!

DrivenToDistraction · 11/05/2010 19:37

BBC just said that this is the first time he/they (not sure which) had appeared with them in public. 'tis a pretty important family occasion as well as a national one, surely?
