Unfortunately it appears that Huntley will survive.

AIBU in thinking that it's a pity that the harm caused to Huntley wasn't fatal?

Yes YABU theres a thread on this already

diedandgonetodevon · 21/03/2010 21:44

YABU. Tbh it's in really poor taste.
He may have done a dreadful thing but I don't think that makes it open-season for any nutter to have a pop at him.

Tiredmumno1 · 21/03/2010 21:45

Yeah torture the bastard every day for the rest of his, miserable sad existence, i hate that nasty f**king piece of shit

Alouiseg · 21/03/2010 21:45

YADNBU.

Someone will be along in a minute to explain how murdering paedophiles arent all bad, they cant really help it and someone probably took his teddy away when he was a little boy.

Vallhala · 21/03/2010 21:46

Sorry, didn't spot that there is already comment on this issue. No apologies for my viewpoint though, as I know all too well the effect that Huntley's crimes have had on the families and community.

I hate violence... his or anyone else's.

Vallhala · 21/03/2010 21:50

Lockets, I'd shake the man by the hand.

Tiredmumno1 · 21/03/2010 21:52

You see lockets thats why they need to impose the death sentence again, so it is legal.

YANBU. Its a gut response.

TheFallenMadonna · 21/03/2010 21:52

Last man who attacked him was a rapist. You'd shake him by the hand? Wonder how his victims would feel.

sanfairyann · 21/03/2010 21:56

yabu

nancy75 · 21/03/2010 21:58

To the op - why do you care? what he did was terrible, and no doubt if i were the parent of one of those children i would want to kill him myself. but as someone not linked to this man in anyway why do you care what happens to him? if he had died would your life be better?

mayorquimby · 21/03/2010 21:59

Becuase i'd imagine the guy who attacked him is an instrument of justice and virtue and not some psychopathic fuck-wit with a pseudo-moralistic stance against paedo's and nonces.

bibbitybobbityhat · 21/03/2010 22:00

Whoever did this to Huntley will be only marginally less repellent than the man himself. Please don't make a hero out of him (because you can be sure that is the reason why he did it).

wannaBe · 21/03/2010 22:00

oh yes, because the man who did this will have been a fine upstanding member of the community won't he. probably another murderer looking to be turned into a hero by the idiots that think this sort of action is acceptable and should be celebrated.

The last one who attacked huntley was a rapest. But go ahead and shake his hand. I'm sure his victims are extatic that his actions are being celebrated up and down the country.

Honestly, I seriously wonder about the aledged inteligence of some people.

Alouiseg · 21/03/2010 22:01

nancy75 "why do you care?* Because if she didn't she'd be a psychopath with zero empathy for other parents.
