I have worn dungarees (very comfy) and consider myself a feminist - not sure where the specific dungaree/ feminsit link came from though (I blame Viz character 'Millie Tant').

Seriously - Delia represents thousands of women who think still that feminism is a dirty word and associated with a lot of negative imagery. Despite as already pointed out the very fact that delia has such a succesful career is a testament to generations of women fighting for the vote, to be taken seriously, to be allowed to own property and not just be property - ffs!
