Saw this on the high road today. My daughter asked what it meant bless her. The rest of the display on the other side included cross dressing obscene mannequins who had large breasts and moustaches etc. This was a charity shop that supports homelessness.

this charity supports ARE trans people so i’d say they are well within the scope of supporting homeless people.

Yeah, it’s almost like they are discriminated against, abused by family members, bullied and harassed by strangers and generally treated like shit and that has a knock on effect on their wellbeing and security…

Don't give a shit about cross dressing but I find the whole boob removal surgery scar thing pretty dull (it's such a common motif - photos as well as cartoons). To me it just reminds me how trans ideology simply perpetuates the sexism it is born from. Once again it's usually the female humans who have to show flesh. All the stats say men aged 25-49. Often ex forces or offenders or with a history of MH issues.
Homelessness is an absolute scourge though, and I hope new initiatives help soon, whoever the people are.

I often notice how advant garde, as we used to say, some charity shop windows are. Livens up the high street I guess.
Im interested in the stats about trans people and homelessness as well. I thought it was really hard to collect such data because of the very nature of the problem. Even rough sleeper charities and statutory services usually say they are only able report on who they work with. I know of at least one fairly stable community of rough sleepers whose membership as it were changes frequently. I wasn't aware statistics could be collected nationally. And I curious about how this data was collected.
I would be grateful if the posters who have information could share it please.

I’d be concerned that, like many other charities, this organisation was diverting money legally mandated to go elsewhere to trans causes. It would certainly discourage me from donating.

Well biology isn't binary, biological sex and gender are too different things.

I really don't see the issue with this.

Plenty of women with breasts grow facial hair, just society has told us we should get rid of it and makes us embarrassed to have it.

In addition, people have cross dressed for hundreds of years, no one thinks twice about it in the panto.

I think you could have used this as a teaching moment to your child that we accept people how they are and for who they want to be, because it has absolutely no impact on our lives but it means they get to live happy ones.
