Saw this on the high road today. My daughter asked what it meant bless her. The rest of the display on the other side included cross dressing obscene mannequins who had large breasts and moustaches etc. This was a charity shop that supports homelessness.

Always entertaining to see signs denouncing the universal reality of the two sexes alongside pink and blue, the cultural symbols of sexism in colour.

a great opportunity to explain to your child about boundaries and exposure and equip her to be able to stand up for herself should the need arise.

I’ve had some useful conversations about consent and the public exposure, without consent, to adult fetishes. The most important discussion arose from the word “community” which gave me the chance to illustrate how disconnected adult expressions of “gender” are from children or young people who feel uncomfortable in their changing bodies.

I think "cheesed off" would almost certainly be a massive understatement if her daughter decided to chop off her breasts and take health-threatening hormones in order to try superficially to resemble a man. I think "devastated" would be more likely. Possibly "horrified".

This is so true. @CalishataFolkart it is not compassionate to surgically remove the breasts of a gender questioning youth. Just as it would not be compassionate to give weight loss jabs to an anorexic, as someone else pointed out. Compassion in both cases takes the form of talking to the individuals, possibly during years of therapy, and getting to the root causes of the distress.

You really would hope that people think 'I'm standing up for padeophiles' or 'I'm standing up for men to go in the changing rooms with teenage girls' and think 'Oh, wtaf is wrong with me?' But in some cases, nope - still got to be 'inclusive' and 'kind'. Just girls and that who suffer, so hey ho.

Unbelievable. Clearly the people making these campaigns have lost the ability to think. At best, they think that they are being kind and inclusive, believing it to be like gay rights, which of course it isn’t. Being gay is a physical attraction and does not require you to be a lifelong medical patient. The harm that some people do without realising. It is only when trans ideology enters your own family that you can truly understand how harmful it is.

It is now acceptable for adult strangers to instruct children to keep secrets from their parents, and for adults in authority over those children to collude in keeping secrets from their parents. The members of PIE have achieved their aim of destroying child safeguarding, thanks to the trans ideology.

The trans people I'm aware of would cringe at this virtue signalling and poorly dressed drag mannequins. It's an insult to the genuine trans people. Trust. The real trans people in my experience (and Id have to quantify what I mean by "real trans" with a definition which I'll do if anyone cares enough but I'll not bore you now) want to blend in with whatever sex they're aiming at transitioning to. So a trans man is going to look at mens clothing, and transwomen, the women's clothing. They don't go out to have tit's and a moustache and some weird pink little red riding hood outfit. They also don't need shops to "support" them. They just want what the rest of us want : decent items sold for a bargain and a real person serving them at the checkout as opposed to a AI self serve.

I think it’s tongue in cheek, but, if it gives someone who is hesitant, the opportunity to buy clothing without being judged, then it can only be a good thing. No one knows what their future self will turn out to be, and everyone deserves to make their own choices in life…without being mocked.

Where’s the backlash against those people, that seem to shout loudest? If a reasonable person is walking alongside someone in bondage gear with a “Gas Terfs” or whatever sign, why aren’t they saying “hang on you are making life considerably harder for me and I don’t support you”?

I suspect they don't walk beside such a person, do they? Only other extremists would be prepared to, I'd've thought.

It is absolutely.

Those unborn girls did not identify as female, they just were female.

Where I work they have to use the preferred pronouns. So the teacher I work with is known as Ms X.

Do not conflate LGB with the TQ+ alphabet nonsense.

LGB is sexuality, TQ+ is ideology. One is proven scientific fact, the other is a dangerous obfuscation built on misogyny, fetishism and delusion.

They are not and never will be the same.
