DH trying to force oral

whyohwhybrainrots · 27/07/2026 17:36

Ok before I write this I know there will be a lot of leave him comments but this isn’t why I’m writing it I just needed to rant! We have a lot of other things going on at the moment which would make leaving impossible currently. It’s something to think about down the line.

So me and DH were having some ‘us time’ the other night which is very rare (few times a year) due to DCs health needs and that taking up lots of our time. I was already not really in the mood due to him asking in a vulgar way (“do you want to Fxxx”) but just let that slide. He then gets on top and whilst he’s on his knees and I’m lying down he kind of shuffles up the bed and says “oh just a little suck first” I said no and tried to pull him back down to kiss etc, he then kept saying just go on only a little bit and kept laughing and trying to get his penis closer to my face. At this point I had said no twice, I then sat up, pushed him back and very forcefully said “I said no!” . He then acted like it hadn’t happened and we carried on.

not that it matters but I’m a survivor of child SA and so I can get triggered easily by things like this. I just think why do men feel like women would want to do this all the time, like it’s their right to make us? I’m sick of men thinking women are just objects to satisfy them. How would he feel if I’d done the same thing demanding oral when he said no?

like I said this isn’t about leaving as that isn’t currently possible, it’s just a rant about how men think that women can just be used!

I know what you said but you do have to make plans to leave. You can’t live like that.

I really think that a lot of men just truly don't understand the enormity of this sort of thing. They think it's not a big deal to them, just a quick small action to fulfil a desire, and they truly don't have the slightest fucking clue what it's like to be a woman, in our world, with a man getting his dick up in your face and whinging like it's a service you provide as opposed to an intimate act for mutual pleasure. If nothing else, you'd think they'd care about what a turnoff it is? Don't they want their partners to enjoy it and want more?

I can't understand it. They live on another planet.

Sorry, can you please explain the part of 'mutual pleasure' of sucking a dick? Where is pleasure for a woman in this 'mutual pleasure'?

U53rName · 27/07/2026 20:07

I wasn’t really into it until I hit my peri-menopause sex surge, then BOOM! It’s like a switch flicked and I love it now (obviously receiving more so, but happy to give too). We hadn’t had oral in 16 years. We do have a “courtesy wash” first though…

Anyway, back to OP—your husband sounds vile and I absolutely would not. And his attitude to female oral stinks.

HollyhocksandPeons · 27/07/2026 19:12

You don't need to justify your disgust and revulsion by saying you were a victim of SA. You just need to say 'I am not a pervert', or 'oral sex is usually for dogs'.

We should step back for a second from our current glamorisation of perversion in all shapes and forms - and ask questions - 'hang on, why did Demi Moore said in that film 'suck my dick' to her enemy'? What is it an insult to call somebody a 'cock sucker'? etc. etc. Maybe then people will realise that is perversion and what is not?

I am not sure trying to derail the thread is helping anyone.
Some people find sex repulsive. They are allowed. Completely irrelevant here.

You should be embarrassed to try to shame the OP who talked about reciprocity (or lack of)

We are talking about consent.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 27/07/2026 20:08

HollyhocksandPeons · 27/07/2026 20:04

Many men and women enjoy long reverberating farts - no need to inflict it on other people though, right?

I would never suggest inflicting oral sex on anyone. What a bizarre comparison.
I enjoy oral giving oral sex. I don’t find it repulsive. Inflicting anything on anyone without consent is wrong.

GreenCaterpillarOnALeaf · 27/07/2026 20:09

You’d have been within your rights to bite the thing off as far as I’m concerned.

If you need a sex manual, buy one or start your own thread.

Again, stop derailing this one.

pragmatismuniversalsentimentalist · 27/07/2026 19:56

Its not prudish not to like giving oral sex.

No need to pretend to be a cool girl, plenty of women just don't like it, and that's absolutely fine.

Why are you trying to suggest it's prudish to not like a particular sex act? Whats prudish about it?
Some women find it gross and vomit inducing, and its ok for them to hold that opinion.

Because he’s likely a man that usually lurks the Sex board. Any time there is a thread that mentions sex in the title a bunch of them come oozing out of the Sex topic like slime to victim blame the OP. Some of them will be male-centred women desperate for approval but most of them are just men that are triggered because they’re angry at their own wives.

They then cause a thread derailment as women pull them up on their misogynistic posts.

The pleasure is in the reciprocation. I’m one of the 85% of women who cannot climax from intercourse, and I do so every time from oral.

Dot123S · 27/07/2026 20:14

I used to be be okay with giving but not since peri meno

i never liked receiving

Because DH really likes it and I get pleasure from that? If I hated it, I wouldn’t do it and DH would never dream of behaving like Ops partner.

Haha—opposite to me! Before, the idea of doing it repulsed me, then once in peri, I thought, “that could be fun…”

My mind was sex-crazed like a teenage boy, I think.

Some women enjoy giving it, or are happy to give it. Fine if you're not one of them. No explanation will make it spin your wheels if it's not your thing. And if it's not your thing, I don't know why you're asking me to talk more about it.

This is as irrelevant as the guy who tried to make the whole thing all about men being the victims of women who aren't into it. It's not about people justifying liking or not liking it, it's about a guy who tried to coerce his wife into it after she told him no.

I went through that phase in my mid 30s, good times lol

I can't believe how many posters have joined this thread to tell everyone how much they do/don't like oral sex.

Entirely missing the point and lacking in empathy for the OP.

Jollyhockeystickss · 27/07/2026 20:21

Yes he was in the wrong but if you are only having sex a few times a year and then when you do you dont want to then its not a relationship..it sounds like you are blaming him,.it sounds like its time to seperate

Oral is a perfectly normal part of a healthy sex life. The vast majority, if not every single man, will probably wish to have that as part of their marriage. It's hardly a fetish or some other sort of deviant activity that tends to be glorified in p0rn.

Obviously this does not apply to OP due to a specific history of SA and her husband is a twat for trying to force it. But I'm quite shocked at the prudeness in this thread as if men should be villainised for expecting consensual oral in first place.

Edited

That’s what you took away from this thread? Really?

Dot123S · 27/07/2026 20:21

@JoleneJoleneJoleneJoleneJolene , sorry....

Why isn't it? You sound like one of those people who used to think that women couldn't actually be raped by their own husbands so marital rape wasn't a crime.

I told my now ex husband I didn't want to have sex one night. I was woken later that night by his dick being inside me. He weirdly seemed to be doing it "carefully" to not wake me up. (very considerate of him) Anyway, the thought of him touching me ever again after that made my skin crawl so I divorced him. I never had a discussion with him about it. Looking back I think I blamed myself a bit for my lack of interest in sex.

Many men and women enjoy long reverberating farts - no need to inflict it on other people though, right?

But context is everything. Do you still find it sexy if the man takes but won’t give oral sex? Sounds like he doesn’t engage in foreplay at all.

In that context, do you still think he’s entitled to expect blowjobs?

Sex and relationships work when people feel valued, desired and supported. There’s literally nothing sexier than a man caring about you and showing you that. Conversely, pushing yourself on someone and giving nothing back in term of pleasure is selfish and a real turn off.

I can’t imagine wanting to have a sexual relationship with a man who just wants a quick f* every now and then. Orgasms are important. Sounds like OPs husband hasn’t learnt a thing since he was 15.

Maybe something to do with dealing with a child with health needs? As stated in the OP
Or the financial restrictions coming from that?

Not everyone is free to just leave.
Or more precisely the cost of leaving might be such that it’s not manageable for some people.

Anything could be a reason not to because it’s easier to just stay. Of course it may be hard financially, for many it is to begin with. It’s just sad people put up walls and excuses not to leave because it might be hard or uncomfortable

Do you remember what Tony Soprano replied, when he was asked why he never asks his wife for a blowjob?
He said: What, and she would use the same mouth to kiss my children afterwards?

Strange response
