Just seen a woman wearing a red boob tube with a grubby white strapped bra. If she can’t find a strapless bra that fits, why buy and wear boop tubes or any other clothing that shows off bra straps. Not a good look.

Why do women think it’s ok to wear clothes like this

Oh ffs 😂
Send us a pic of your outfit. I’m ready.

Grannies curtains with the most granny style bra you could imagine perfectly white obviously. If I was placing bets 🤣

Me I’ve got a black strappy floaty top and shocker a bright blue bra on and yes you can see both bra and top strap. 😱

I’ll hand my self over to ops bra crime police.

I am forever grateful to the Millennial and Gen Z women who have made it okay to wear what the fuck we want. Other people do not exist for your aesthetic comfort.

This site can be so judgemental. I swear someone was moaning about the same thing last year. Who gives a shit, are you buying her bras, washing her clothes, no. Did she have clothes on, yes.

Worry about the grass on your side of the fence.

Underwear should be worn under clothes not showed off

If I have my bra on display then I make damn sure it's a nice one.

I don't want to see anybody's skaggy old underwear. It may be none of my business what other people wear, but I'm still going to have an (unspoken) opinion about it. So sue me...

Well when you’re king or queen of the world you can send a memo. Till then women will dress as they please.

It was a bra strap. She wasn’t running around in her knickers.

My nan used to say things like this!

I'm late 30s and love that I can wear whatever is comfortable without faffing about worrying that someone will be offended by the sight of my bra straps.

vanillasugar2 · Yesterday 17:30

strapless bras don’t exist in my size so if I’m wearing a vest top or racer back vest, you’ll see my bra straps, tough!

I think may be you’re over inflating how important people think your opinion is. No one is suing you as no one cares about your opinion

Ive not got a bra on right now so it looks like I have sandbags up my top.
And I dont care neither do I care what others wear.
Top less men builders bum, women wearing knickers and boob tubes in tescos or sports bras and tiny hot pants with their arses cheeks out ,I couldn't give hoot about any of it.

Stop being so judgemental and get on with your own lifes.

jumpingjohnny · Yesterday 17:33

People can wear what they want, of course. But if you look a mess, expect people to look and judge for the worst. And if you look well put together, expect people to look and judge for other reasons!

leggingsbotoxmatcha · Yesterday 17:34

are you well?

Shoola · Yesterday 17:34

Do you post on mumsnet every time you see some slightly grubby or uncoordinated clothing? If you feel the need to do this, I suggest you avoid public transport entirely. Crowds at sports matches might also upset you and don't go near anywhere where construction work is going on. In fact, you may want to avoid urban spaces entirely. The countryside may also present some issues.

Lilypad789 · Yesterday 17:34

Because it is quite literally okay.

Yetanotherone12 · Yesterday 17:34

And if she hadn’t worn a bra you’d be posting about your shock that someone had gone out braless.

strapless bra’s are pointless imo.

Its amazing the amount of grubby or worn bits of underwear that's showing these days. But it's the 21st century so that's ok - there's a COL crisis dontcherknow 🙄

Oh no not a <gasp> greying bra how undignified!

Even in the countryside cows have the tits on show, op may want to avoid that.

Mumsnet would have thousands of threads every day if there was a new one for seeing someone with no style. Male or female.

Unlike in France or Italy.

Newyearawaits · Yesterday 17:36

Ladies and men are able to wear clothes of their own choice, as long as private parts are covered.

Tollist · Yesterday 17:37

I have stronger feelings about people not cutting off those hanging loops that some tops and cardigans have. When they are visible and casually draped over a shoulder, I want to get my nail scissors out and snip away.
